Zen Essence

This is such a beautiful, understated perfume. It smells fresh, soft, uplifting, and deeply comforting, with a clean elegance that never feels loud or overpowering. It stays close to the skin, which makes it perfect for spring and summer, especially on days when heavier fragrances feel too intense. What I really love is that even 4 hours after applying it, I can still smell it on my skin, and it still smells just as lovely. It has a quiet, serene kind of beauty that makes it very easy to wear and enjoy.

Just tried it in the store and it's very nice. Today is one of the first warmer spring days and this fits well. It's very soft, poudery, from the iris i guess. But the iris is not strong, has not that pissy note it can has sometimes. Than there is something really comforting, somehow nutty, which must be the mentioned mineral component. This is definitely a skin scent, nothing loud or in your face. I really like it.

People may not expect a lot from Shiseido for fragrances so I think this is a surprise beauty. A soft iris is prominent with an musky sweet drydown. It’s well blended. It reminds me of niche iris fragrances. I tried this on my skin and it’s clocking 4 hours now and it’s still pretty good. Well done, Shiseido!

I found this fragrance to be a surprisingly nice mix of woody and floral notes. It’s a bit different from what I usually expect, but that’s what makes it interesting.

I was excited for the mineral notes + iris combo, expecting something niche-leaning, but all I get from this is a delicate skin-like scent. I can't imagine offending anyone with this because it's so timid and understated.

I found it somehow identical to CK IN2U that was launched in 2007, ((especially with the first spray)),same in freshness, prominent bergamot & citrusy notes and lightly woody , which goes well in sommer days. If you were a fan of CK, you can go to Shiseido Zen as an upgraded option that states calmer and more dignified, with a hint of Jo Malon’s light spice <>

It's pretty nice, sweeter than i expect from the note. I think mainly it is musk and iris. The sillage is not so good but understandable for the skin scent type. I like that it has Iris without smelling old or too cosmetics. It actually light and youthful.

This smells like Flower by Kenzo but stronger. Also has a Narciso Rodriguez vibe to it. It’s too sweet and powdery for me.

Is this any similar to the Zen released in the white bottle in 2000? I don't have any testers around me yet!

What, does this really resemble She Wood DSquared? Please tell me it does??
