Zen Sun 2014

I really love this scent. Firstly, it is so long-lasting. I wore it in the morning and it stayed with me all day, even after a hot bath in the evening. I can still smell it on my scarf. From this point of view, it is value for money. The projection is moderate. It is there, you can feel it but, it is not over powering or annoying to others (so, you won't need to worry if you are stuck in an elevator with colleagues climbing to the 33rd floor). It is very feminine and very fresh and clean with just a dash of mango sweetness but, not too much so, please do not be put off, it is not a gourmand smell. It is very versatile, you can use it day or evening, every day or on special occasions. However, it is rather a spring/summer scent than an autumn/winter one. It has a very modern feel to it, it starts off with a clean, fresh fruity/bergamot smell and about 30 minutes later, the subtle mango and cherry sweetness kicks in, blending with quiet musk and amber and stay with you through the day. It is a beautiful fragrance, I can’t even begin to describe how excited I am to have found it (and mind you, I am a gourmand fan so, theoretically, this not really my preferable palette...) The glass cubic bottle is elegantly minimal and well within the overall Shiseido minimalist approach when it comes to design. I cannot recommend it enough. You will not regret this purchase. On my side, as it is a limited edition for Summer 2014, I intend to stock up. Enjoy the (good) perfume quest!

Really like the floral yet sophisticated smell, and the fruity undertones. Older Chinese people generally don't like musky or spicy scents, or very strong scents, so my Dad should be fine with it. Bought it for my Mom's 72nd birthday. I think it will make her feel beautiful and a little young and girly.

Very nice summery fragrance, exotic floral. Light, unobtrusive, it could be worn both to work and on a sunny beach.

This didn't suit my skin chemistry. No lime or mango, just bitter resin-like smell at first. Then nothing. It lasted about 15 minutes and totally disappeared. I tried to spray generously and it just didn't smell. On my friend this smells wonderful. Fresh lemon and sweet mango, pretty flowers and amber. And it lasts really long! I wish I had her skin chemistry...

i liked shiseido zen sun 2013. i hope this zen sun soon arrives in my country.
