Zen White Heat Edition

Blind bought it with a discount and I'm extremely pleased with it. I wanted something fresh and light for hot weather and I also wanted it to be a bit better quality than few of my loved fresh cheapies. Also I wanted something that would not be popular to death (wich always happens with well blended light/fresh scents) The staying power is pretty impressive for such a light scent and the sillage is also medium (that's what I wanted it to be) I love the florals and the prominent magnolia in it (migt be a bit sharp for some people, but I love sharpness of magnolia) coriander ads a just right amount (a hint) of spice and the raspberry isn't bothering at all. I'd say this scent is like a joy of summer. Moreover this is not a linear scent whatsoever, it sparkles in waves within time, and when you reach to the drydown, when the scent is barely there on the skin, it smells like an expensive makeup. A perfect keeper to safely wear around people.

It has a very unique scent that I’ve rarely encountered in other perfumes. It carries the DNA of Zen but is lighter and fresher. I love the coriander note — it makes it really special. It gives a classy green-soapy vibe, and the bottle even looks like a block of ice. A very good floral scent with some citrus notes. Super clean and fresh. Great composition! There's just right amount of everything. Some freshness from hyacinth and bergamot, just a little sweetness from fruits and really nice jasmine and rose. Top notes were a little difficult, but it settled down very nicely. I think it's quite elegant one.

I get so confused which of all the ZeNs I like best that I'm starting thinking of simply ordering them all and putting end to this... Here again we have a delightful one. The only thing I don't understand is why is it smelling like lavender to me.

This beauty was the one and only that I can bear when I was pregnant.

I tried this today and sprayed one wrist with this and the other with the original, or the most recent one in the gold, square bottle, for comparison purposes. Seven hours later they smell very similiar the journey has been very different though. The right wrist has the original Zen and we walked through sunny fields filled with joy and happiness. Everything smelled nice and clean. I also was filled with optimism for the future. My left wrist had the White Heat version and we stopped at the grocery store and lingered in the soap aisle before heading to the toilet where I put cheap soap all over myself and left it there. Yes, this flanker smells like the soap found in public toilets. At least for about five hours and then that soapy floral mote is gone. The result is very similar to that of the original Zen. I'd buy the original Zen to avoid the drydown detour of White heat. It isn't nice.

I couldn't make up my mind about this one at first, but I found I kept wanting to try it each time I passed the display at the dept store. I was surprised by it the first time, intrigued by the second, and hooked by the third. It starts cool, sharp, and masculine, but then warms and warms to something lush and deep. To me it is a fall fragrance, not a summer one. Definitely not dull, and doesn't "disappear" on me too quickly like so many other fragrances do.

Last night I tried a spray of this on one wrist and a spray of the original on the other, I couldnt smell the original at all because I was so overpowered by the summer heat. My husband said it smelt like the scented blocks that are put in urinals. To me it smelt very strongly of cocconut, and not in a nice way. I actually had to wash it off after about half an hour as I couldn't take it anymore.

This is a fresh perfume and I do get a lot of lemon and a little bit of white flouwers. I think it will be a nice perfume for hot weather. Would I buy a bottle I don't think so , for me the bergamot is to overbearing.

I've tried it in the mall. And I am happy I didn't buy it blind. On my skin it smells very sharp. Every time I've smelled my arm it reminded me of washing power "Ariel". Just not for me, I guess.

Soapy. Very soapy. And not classy soap, either. Skip this one. There are many other flankers to chose from, that are much better.
