Santa Fe For Men

Ohh... Fragrantica added this, finally! My first perfume love, Santa Fe. Man, I loved this so much. I found an old bottle (discontinued of course) but it had deteriorated and smelled mostly like alcohol. I'll be honest, it wasn't a high quality offering in the first place so the old stock out there probably doesn't age gracefully. This one will have to remain in my memory, but what a lovely scent it was.

This one really sits close to my heart. This was the fragrance that my dad and grandfather wore, and I inherited dad's used bottle when he passed. Would only wear it occasionally because I was scared it would run out, and then one day it did. I see that this fragrance is retired, but it will always be one of my favorites.

I love this frag.. been looking for a bottle. I remember this frag beeing a light woody sandalwood scent with a touch of spice. Santa fe was a very affordable frag. I got it for christmas 1 year during my high school years and i purchased many bottles after. Been trying to find a frag that smells similar

this was my first fragrance ever... i think i was in 4th or 5th grade... sandalwood, cinnamon as i remember, i remember smelling almost everything in the store and liked this best... havent smelled it in probably 25 years now... loved it then though...

The "Reminds me of" section is pretty scattered, with no definitive option. Does anyone know of a scent that is similar? This was my first fragrance as a kid, and this was what spawned my love of fragrances overall. Simple yet smooth, sweet, and spicy. It was a great option in the cooler months (but at age 9 I probably wore it year round). It could be nostalgia, but I love this scent. You hear about how fragrances bring back memories and tell stories for people who use them...Santa Fe is one of those for me.

got to thinking about my dad (an avid drakkar noir wearer) and suddenly remembered another scent he was incredibly fond of: santa fe. I can vividly recall stealing splashes from his bottle as a little girl and reeking of this stuff for hours. sweet, spicy, and rugged without a doubt. there's nothing like it I've come across in all my years since. if anyone has a bottle of this they're willing to part with (paid or traded for, of course) please don't hesitate to reach out.

Still available on eBay. I bought a 3.4 ounce for around $130. Still smelled great. Hard to know if performance changed as it’s been a while. The performance on the bottle I just had was average. I lived in New Mexico for years and the smell of this fragrance it’s so nostalgic. It reminds me of cool New Mexico winters, the sunsets wide open spaces and chimneys billowing smoke.

To this day, the ONLY cologne that I literally got a compliment on every single time I wore it. I have a bottle I got in the late 1980's that has degraded somewhat and has more alcohol ting than when in its prime. I put some on the other day for nostalgia sake and.....boom...."You smell nice....". I sure wish someone had a good clone of this fantastic fragrance.
