Do whatever is necessary to get a bottle of this. Not many fragrances can be called a masterpiece but this one is. This is one a very few out there that will blow your mind.

ADD THIS TO THE ITALIAN HALL OF FAME!! They say it cost to be the boss. I'm just trying to find somewhere to make payments. I'm gonna pat myself on the back for this discovery. I hope and pray that you will smell Athunis before you kick the bucket. Bois D'who?? That Naomi Goodsir concoction is scooby snacks compared to this. You're a tough guy huh? You want some smoke? This is the only fragrance on the market that comes equipped with a chimney. You'll get some hair on your chest and your balls after spraying this hahahaha!!! One could easily surmise this as being one note and one note only...cigarettes. This may be the most oxymoronic thing you've heard all year but this is the sexiest cigarette aroma you'll find in perfumery. I can't explain it..Just like many of you, I hate the smell of cigarettes but love this. Let's be clear about something. I blind bought this for vetiver purposes only. I had no idea that I was purchasing the niche version of Pall Mall. This was pure "Eureka" but not for the reason I thought. Calling all adventurers...

Athunis, together with Fvmidvs by Profvmvm and Diptyque's Essence by John Galliano, is possibly one of the smokiest vetiver I ever experienced. Something to make the Villoresi or Exhale look like a refined Eau De Cologne. The opening is quite challenging and smells exactly like an estinguished fireplace where you've burned a pile of cedarwood trunks. A true to life experience. A raw, sharp vetiver note make it's appearance right away turning the composition into a straight forward rooty/earthy fragrance. Something you should definitely look for if you're into rough, straight forward manly vetivers. Caution: the "burnt" aspect of Athunis is pushed to the very limit and, expecially during the inital phases, the fragrance may result strongly challenging to anyone who's not into strong smoky compositions. Me? I quite like it and find it much more approachable and balanced than Fumidus. On a once in a while rotational roster. Rating: 7/10

An ultra-burnt and powerful vetiver. The opening has a magical wet cedar note, spirituous yet very agressive. Maybe it could be the male edition of Sycomore because its final hours resemble me a little of that famous Chanel ́s jewel. Yes, I do feel a hint of Sycomore after some hours.. It hasn ́t the strong medicinal note as Route Du Vetiver. The longevity is excellent. It was a blind buy of a full bottle and I have absolutely no regrets, thanks to the very helpfull reviews of Alfarom Nero Profumo. I ́m mesmerized by this Etruscan god. Rating: 10/10
