Lola

In my fragrances I truly dislike 1) white flowers 2) honey 3) rose. Basically, evrything this scent has to offer. I did not choose this scent by its notes, but by its name. And oh I was surprised! Beautuiful, warming and wrapping around scent. Deep, rich and elegant. A slight trace of all of the above ingridients, but to my total surprise they made the perfect blend together. White honey and a dark rose, white flowers popping up when the fragrance has settled. Good blend. Mostly feminine, but could be a match for a man too, due to its warmth and darkness.

Of all the Signature Fragrance perfumes I've tried, this is the one I like best. It's refreshing to try a rose/patchouli combo that doesn't smell like all the rest. This is very womanly. The rose is lush and fiery, while the patchouli is warm and dark - even a little ominous. This is not your Disney Princess rose, more Evil Queen. I find this fairly linear, but there's enough going on that I'm ok with that. Both the orange blossom and the white honey stay subtle in the background. They're there, adding a slight lightness to this, but they never overwhelm. The rose and patchouli dominate and the cedar comes in a close second, making the whole thing quite earthy. It's a sort of enchanted forest on a dark night, where things lurk in the shadows. This is also the only one I've tried from this house that has the sillage and longevity to warrant a full bottle from me. You really do only need a dab and it'll last for hours and hours. In short, I'm impressed. This is the one I'd buy a FB of.
