Iris Impérial

This was presented to me as a "Bois d'Argent" clone and I actually had some people ask me if I was wearing that. One of my most complimented fragrances. I even had a cashier tell me that I was smelling so good from across the counter, so sillage is pretty huge. My clothes still carry the smell of the fragrance 24h later. Very satisfied with this one, has great value, and is advertised as an Extrait de Parfum.

This was a great blind buy. It's sophisticated, chic and quite delicate. Definitely unisex. Opening has no harshness or synthetic feeling. It's powdery but leaning towards the smokey side. Not overbearing or nauseating at all. The sillage is reasonable. More of a close to skin / arm's reach type. Longevity is about 6h, but it was still very present on close skin the next day. So I'll try applying it on moisturized skin to see if it holds up and expands differently. Regarding scent notes, NO pink pepper detected. Definitely an Iris, Amber and strong white musk presence. The leather is just a vague idea on the dry down. The packaging has astonishing good quality for this price range. The odd thing is that the outside cardbox marks this as an Extrait de Parfum: not a chance! Will definitely try some other perfumes from this house.
