This perfume is scary. But I love it. And hate it. And then I love it. And vice versa on and on. Its character is choking and I feel anxious anytime I smell it, but I still continue to smell it again and again as I feel like I am staring into the abyss of a hellish vulcan and it’s hypnotising and I’m scared and fascinated at the same time. There’s something self-destructive and masochistic about it and I’m somehow in, because dark is where I used to feel at home. Maybe the creator of this scent didn’t even intend to make it so deeply twisted. Because this perfume doesn’t smell like a mythologic creature, it smells like a death by fire, a human flesh with all his sins melted in a lava. And I want to wear it to frighten people on the streets and in the supermarkets and make them extremely confused and uncomfortable, because this one is really edgy and outstanding conceptual fragrance with a calling - may that be the police, or an exorcist 🔥

This fragrance is not a joke. It’s for extremists. I think it’s in my top 3 most difficult. How does it smells? It opens with lot of smoke of woods and earth. Monster! Hard to stand. It’s so primitive, so primal, so grounded. After ... darkness and smoke are gone, and nice vetiver, cedar with amber comes out. It’s so pleasant. This perfume is a master piece. It tells the story of a vulcanic island. You witness initial fire, then it’s gone with time, and grass and woods start to grow. Simple yet genius concept. Where to wear? Getting out. To make a point You are independent thinker. X Gen. Not for family occasions, gym or office. For whom? Very experienced perfume lovers.

First of all, the color of the juice is gorgeous. The actual fragrance? Well, it starts off with it conjuring up the song "Fire" by the Crazy World of Arthur Brown. I am the god of hellfire and I bring you... another smoke-themed perfume! Muhahahaha... I agree with reviewer katarinamalik that this has a masochistic quality to it. Does this smoke want to be bacon or a tragic case of arson? Does it want to be fire from a person who left a cigarette lit while falling asleep, or does it want to be the smell OF said person ravaged by the fire. If I were to wear this, I am fairly certain that someone detecting it would be concerned that something was burning and would be scoping out my general vicinity for smoke. If they realized it was me, they may be worried for my safety—and their own safety. Burnt wood, charcoal, and charred organic remains should really be the notes breakdown. This is the ultimate smoky scent, but I don't think I could be convinced that this is actually wearable in public.

Atma begins with the smell of wood burnt to the embers, a dash of pepper straight from the colander, and a metallic note that calls to mind the taste of blood; opening up like a charnel or smokehouse set ablaze. After this fiery entrance, Atma mellows out, the notes of incense and amber in the base and heart slowly subsuming the smoky and ferritic elements of its start. As the perfume continues to age, the terrestrial scents of the base take hold and last throughout the day. Take note that this scent is not for everyone. Its opening is all-encompassing, and it more than honors Mt. Etna, its fiery inspiration, with its heavy smokiness. But it's also daring, and engaging and pleasant enough that it works as a statement piece or masc-coded signature scent. I adore it, personally. In short, Atma is a hot-starting, exciting, and borderline evil eau de parfum that gains depth and subtlety over the hours.
