Eterno

Of the few Simone Andreoli fragrances I've tried so far, Eterno might be the only one that I like, though it is not without its issues. Eterno is a dark, smoky incense (not a church incense). The very opening hits you like a cinnamon bomb, in such a good way -- like Maison Crivelli Santal Volcanique (but with far less of the chalky sandalwood that almost ruins SV). That cinnamon-type scent quickly tampers down in less than a minute and turns more smoky, with the cinnamon moving to the background to keep the smokiness from becoming cloying. You also get hints of the bergamot and citrus leaves, adding to the slight but spicy sweetness. The overall combination is so good. The only problem I've noticed so far is that every so often, Eterno smells like dirty cigarette smoke. It's not persistent, but for some reason, I occasionally get small bursts of ashy smoke. That aside, Eterno smells like a blend of two of my favorite colognes: the aforementioned Santal Volcanique and either TF Black Lacquer or maybe Myrrh Mystere. Highly recommended if you're into this kind of scent profile. PS. Fragrantica needs to update the Eterno picture. That's a pic of the old label design.

#1537 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Got this as a decant. Very nice! I may eventually get bored with woody Chypres, but not today. This reminds me of liquides Imaginaires "Sancti", a scent I love, but this is more potent. Strong incense, fir, and cypriol. Leathery. Nice sandalwood note. Very masculine. Long lasting, good projection. Nothing here I don't love. Price isn't awful. This goes on the list for purchase. If you like this and don't have "Sancti" get a decant and try it out. And I would say just try a bottle of Eudora "Impression in Black." PureBrasil.com has it for $56. I'd say this is fine for suit and tie office wear. Go easy in tight spaces.

For me it's not like Interlude (I don't say at all), because it has waaay less incense in it and it makes it so well balanced. wood, leather, sweet and spicy... What a beautiful fragrance!

Strong, smokey, highly noticeable. Opening resembles one of the amouages but turns more woodsy towards the dry down. Leather is quite prominent in this one. Beautiful winter fragrance. Beast-mode projection and days on clothes longevity.

This perfume is exactly the same as Amouag's Interlude, with some slight differences in the quality of the notes. I mean that in Interlude you are facing an unbridled giant whose combination of incense notes and opoponax etc has created a gasoline-like state that is very heavy, but in Eterno, the creator of the perfume, despite the absolute copy, wanted to curb the interlude and reduce the heavy concentration of notes that have a heavy and gasoline-like face and make it wearable for a wide range of people, including women. I am not happy with both Interlude and Eterno, and I believe that both are unwearable for women, but Eterno can probably be called a market and popular version of Interlude, while there is still some gap between these two perfumes in terms of the quality of the notes and even the performance. Finally, this point can be emphasized again that although this distance and differences between the tow perfumes are not clear to everyone, and more importantly, I think many people will see these differences as the advantages of Eterno over Interlude, but in fact, if you are a fan of the style of the scent and the presentation of Interlude, then No Doubt, Interlude still has much more value and quality than Eterno, and it is better to buy the same Amouage Interlude at a little more cost than this copy of Simone Andreoli, which is not cheap either.

This is such a well-blended scent. I have been obsessed by the spray I applied on my arm under the sleeve of my coat. There is a deep inhaling factor that got me hooked ever since. My coat was witness to enormous longevity. Of course now I have a full bottle of this pick-me-up juice! I’m more than addicted. What is it to render it so outdoorsy? Imagine the strong wind bringing the smell of tree bark, pine sap, resins and autumnal fallen leaves. When I put my nose on this I get ready for an adventure: the wind is blowing straight into my face and I’m transported directly into the piney mountains, getting both the freshness of the air and the warmth of heart of when you see a crackling fire inside a wooden house. This is a cold weather fragrance, out of this world, a piece of art.

@farzadkaya You say it is exactly the same(with slight difference) and then you say then Interlude has much more quality for the cost difference. My dear that difference is exactly double! Interlude is not twice better and for sure it dosnt last as long as Eterno. So people, dont be literally riped off by Amouage for something that is far from unique and doesnt perform that good. Im not saying to buy cheap dupe, Im saying that we have equivalents. Personally I have Interlude, but after I finish it, Eterno is jumping in (unless they spoil it)

Maybe some resemblance to interlude, but it is different. Lighter, less incense, more citrusy and fresh. Could be similar to interlude at first spray, but goes more and more different on the dry down. I’m not a fan of this type of particular accord, but much more wearable than interlude in my opinion

This is a certified beast and perfect for winter. Projection and longevity is incredible with great sillage. Special perfume house.
