Soir d'Оrient

Wow. Soir d’Orient is an absolutely PHENOMENAL perfume. I saw this as someone who owns over 100 perfumes, having sampled many more than that. I like Sisley. I have Eau du Soir and Soir de Lune. I thought that those two were the best perfumes from the house of Sisley...before I tried this. It’s a difficult perfume to describe actually. All I can say about it is itt is 100% gorgeous, classy, timeless, sophisticated, interesting, and downright stunning. This scent is addictive. I think you must try it to believe. This is a very, very special perfume. I prefer Soir d’Orient to the other two Sisley perfumes I have. This one is just so, so, so beautiful. I wish I could do it more justice in my description, but all I can say is there is nothing bad about this perfume. It’s just gorgeous. The scent is so natural and beautiful and u issue. I haven’t smelled anything like it. In the first day of my wearing no it I got several compliments, but I don’t even care about that. Just smelling it myself, I realize how gorgeous and special this is. This is not a conservative mature perfume. Anyone at any age can wear this. It’s not a boring scent, but it’s universally likeable as a classy fragrance. It’s so dreamy and feminine, without being overly sweet and obtrusive. It’s so timeless I hope I never ever run out of this. This is just top of the line. Any woman in the world could wear this and feel like a princess, it is that classy and sophisticated, without being uptight and unapproachable. It is absolutely, undeniably stunningly beautiful and alluring. This is so feminine, beautiful, classy, and feminine, that it is sexy in a very refined way. Soir d’Orient is a stunning perfume meant for a confident, intelligent woman, a natural leader that embraces her femininity. Any woman who wears this will instantly feel magnificent. This is a very special fragrance, which I hope never goes out of style. A real gem.

Eau du Soir needs no introduction. Sisley’s mythical perfume is (still) one of the most elegant and beautiful chypres. Exhilarating. Regal. Stunning. To quote one of Lancôme’s best moisturizers of the past (Vivifiance); Vivifiant! Soir d’ Orient is Eau du Soir at dawn. While it launched when the Oud craze was taking off, it doesn’t include Oud, or at least it doesn’t pretend to be an Oud scent. Instead, it’s midnight. When Eau du Soir undresses, under the spell of a burning candle, Soir d’Orient comes to life. Galbanum, the common thread, is surrounded by rich rose. Herbal geranium. Resins and incense and myrrh, all brought to life by lemon and bergamot. It’s a smoky, oriental, lavish take on the chypre original, with the emphasis on a huge, brooding rose. They’re the same but not. They share the same elegance, the same class. While one is a proper chypre, the other is the version +18. When the lights go out and only candlelight (and the moon) illuminates the night. A sensuality akin to Emanuelle in the first films. Soir d’Orient is lavish, rich and mesmerizing. It doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not, instead it is very good at what it is. A darker, night version of the original, lost in the corridors of an Andalusian castle. It haunts while it taunts. Truly, a perfume worthy of a black bottle and night in its name. Sisley, don’t lose your class!

A profoundly beautiful creation, Soir d'Orient turned out to be a holy grail of sorts for me, as I was on the pursuit for a rose incense. An added bonus for my nose is one of my other favorite notes: geranium. I have Ai incense from Blackbird, and this eau de parfum closely resembles the dark, lush ambience of that incense. The opening has that hallmark galbanum that seems to be thematic of Sisley fragrances (see Eau de Campagne), but here, it is paired with saffron, imparting this almost tannic, astringent quality that soon yields to a black pepper. Here, an almost trigeminal effect occurs, as the roses and the geranium leaves bloom with radiance. However, this is not sunshine radiance but more an opalescence in an ocean of onyx. I am in a temple in some primeval woods, incense envelops me, something feels almost cabalistic. I am not merely writing a review in my spare time between work, but I am elsewhere. This is the elsewhere that perfumes can often take us, when we want to escape the here and now, we want to be the embodiment of this elsewhere. The dry down is one of repose: mossy, earthy, gentle, reassuring. This is not a scent for the provocateur so much as its for the dreamer. Masculine on men, feminine on women. Top shelf.

utterly beguiling, intoxicating, rich, heady perfection. spicy, sharp, deeply incense-y, but there's also a gorgeous non-gourmand floral sweetness when i smell my arm more closely. i feel little need to analyze this perfume based on its component notes; they simply add up to a masterful, unique whole, which is to me the sign of an excellent perfume. i absolutely loved this when it first came out and i tested it on a whim in a department store (i knew nothing about sisley's fragrances at the time). i couldn't stop thinking about it. but oh, that price! i finally managed to buy it at an affordable price and am so glad i did. one thing (and one note, i guess) that i will mention: when i was a kid, i had a scratch and sniff book in which the one patch i was drawn to *absolutely* the most, admist the strawberry and other entirely forgettable (and synthetic-smelling) scents was... maybe frankincense, i think? i could NOT stop smelling it — i found it absolutely intoxicating. it smelled like church incense (i discovered later — i'm not christian). i realize with soir d'orient that i've finally found *that* scent.

What a fantastic composition. My skin brings out the top notes far more than when sprayed I sniffed it on paper. On paper, it comes across as somewhat similar to the highest-end, Middle Eastern rose-oud blends. However, the bergamot, galbanum, pepper, incense, and saffron (to a lesser extent) really dominant on the skin. It's surprisingly bright, despite have a wondrously dark body underneath. As it evolves, the middle and base notes move forward, especially the rose and incense. Somehow, despite being a strong fragrance with quite a bit of attitude, it is remarkably well-balanced through all phases. It does not come across as garish or neurotic. I recently bought a (somewhat irresponsibly) large haul of blind buys based on research, and this is one of my favorites. I got a .25 oz travel atomizer, but will likely buy a full bottle when I run out, despite the higher price point. This is one of those times when I can absolutely smell the expertise and craft that went into this high-quality beauty. Unisex, maybe leaning a bit feminine. I LOVE this fragance. It is like a more oriental versión of eau du soir. It is more balsámic with the incense and the resins, but with same Green vibe of eau du soir. I have bought It because i found a good offer and because i usually likes It when i tried It on the perfumeríes, but as i already had eau du soir, i am not sure if It was a good purchase because i dont find many difference between both fragances. The performance is great, as in most fragances of this brand, and the quality of the ingredients is very high, soir d'orient smells very natural. This perfume is intense but at the same time keeps some of the freshness of eau du soir, so i think It is very versatile, intense for night use but elegant and fresh to wear during the day. I think It is totally unisex. Scent: 9 Longevity: 8 Sillage: 7 Quality/price: 7 Versatility: 9 Originality: 6 Global: 8.5

Edit: Very long lasting. I applied a single spray to the back of my hand yesterday around 10 PM and after a shower, multiple hand washes, washing dishes, etc. I can still smell traces of it at 2 PM the next day. Original: My new favorite and love at first sniff. :-) Of course I also like Soir de Lune quite a bit, but this is just in a different class. I understand why people compare it to Aromatic Lime (the aggressive bitter and citrus notes). However, this is more refined. And Aromatic Lime, whose astringency is quite refreshing, cannot compare in elegance and depth. I cannot wait for the fall concert/ballet season to start. I am going to be wearing this scent a lot.

First sniff reveals the same backbone as Eau du soir, however as it dries down it loses the biting bitterness of Eau du Soir and becomes softer and spicier with the saffron, rose, woods etc. my preferred Sisley fragrance. I have a 10mL bottle of this and Eau du Soir as well. This one is more wearable and sexy whereas Eau du Soir is very opulent and elegant and something one would wear to the opera or some elegant event. This is probably one of the only Sisley fragrances that manages to have a little touch of sweetness to it thanks possibly to the rose and cinnamon and of course there’s the smokiness. Nice sillage and longevity. Overall a very lovely scent.

Words are not enough. The best woody rose I’ve ever ever smelled. There’s something healing in it. As it could expand one’s soul. The Moonlight Sonata’ music in a parfume. Ed: I thought it would be a too serious, complicated and maybe a too mature fragrance and I’m very surprised by the enthusiasm of my husband and children. They are unanimous (rare enough to be mentioned) : it’s a « won-der-ful ! » scent. Even my 88 years old father (who always professes sharply that one good parfume is enough for a women) agreed and said it was outstanding.

This is a remarkably well made perfume -i.e., the black version. It changes its mood three times; all with which one would love to be in during any day. In Fragrantica.com this perfume is classified as women sent; which is not valid name. This is a unisex perfume, and it could work very well on men like me. I DO NOT use only masculine perfumes, and this Soir de' Orient 2010 from Sisely is really working on my skin in very attractive way. It lasts well (some 6 hours) on a dry skin such as mine. My Missy loved it as a masculine perfume.

Thousands of opposites come together perfectly naturally in an opulent, out-of-this-world marriage of East and West, feminine and masculine, light and dark, bitter and sweet, harsh and polished, passion and tenderness. The scent goes from emerald green of galbanum and bergamot to golden topaz warm sandalwood & frankincense base with the smoothest, most exquisite patchuli. The peppery note gives the fragrance just the right edge. It's a great unisex fragrance, turning both men and women into mysterious strangers.

Oh my God!!! This is my favourite parfum! So deep, so mysterious but in a cold way. Not sweet at all. Every time I smell it, I imagine myself in a dark room, the incense around me, unlocking the deepest layers of my soul and cleaning them. I feel like in a temple. If you don't like the smell of temples, that's not for you. In my opinion this is a spiritual parfum, not sexy. Casual clothes don't suit this fragrance. Very very classy and elegant! Total love ❤️

Soir D'Orient is a gorgeous, dry geranium chypre with a smoky shadow. Quite beautiful, unisex and long lasting. I wear this perfume in any temperature and season. I can sense a relationship between this and Izia la Nuit in that they are both the seductive evening perfumes. Soir d'Orient is just slightly smokier. All the Sisley perfumes in my collection seem to have a chypre tone which adds elegance and sophistication.

I've just deleted my old negative review. Bought early this year. Left it and never bothered with it until today. After a cleaning mission in my happy home, showered and thought I'd spray it again. I kid you not. It's super sexy, deep, and unique. I've never smelt anything like her. Luxurious incense and oriental. I'm so very happy I kept her. She just need to settle for 8 month. Now in August she's perfect.

The first time I tried Soir d'Оrient by Sisley, Tamara de Lempicka emerging from the darkness in her green, transparent dress invaded my thoughts. Soir d'Оrient by Sisley is a masterpiece, with profoundly deep, oriental and spicy notes that are both addictive and sophisticated. It is a bright, green light that cuts through the darkness, revealing fragments of red lipstick, silk, and tulle...

OMG! OMG! I loooove this kind of perfume, even though i'm a man, but i really enjoy it so much, it opens up with a smooky encens sandalwood, and it turns into a bit sweet rose (not candy sweet) patchouli makes it bit manly and mature, very expensive smell, my taste obviously, i do have (soir de lune/eau du soir) and i love them, and this one just gonna step into the line of my wardrobe...

MBTI: femme ENTJ After lovingly looking at it through the shopping glass for 2 years, and sampling it at every airport pass, I can say that I'm a proud owner of 10ml of this fabulous liquid. It's animalic and smells like powdery oud with regal, barely-sweet flowers in the background. A rich woman from Dubai, no doubt. Flying first class. As she should. ✈️🌌🍷

This one is difficult to pull off in a casual setting, but I think truly anyone interested in perfumery should experience it at least. This is definitely class, "old school", "dark feminine", elegant sensuality. Not for everyone. Not an easy reach. And it's demanding of its wearer. But a must try. A worthy sample for a perfume collection as well.

I wrote my first review when I bought it last year. I hated it. I thought it was so vintage and old. Wow today after being on a cleaning mission, then shower. I thought I'd spray it. Oh my goodness. She is so divine, sexy, and deep. She's so so beautiful and unique. I'm in heaven. Incensey, oriental. Luxurious. .

Aristocratic & sexy... It's like a special book in leather covers adorned with gold accents, you really want to explore it. Old Hollywood glam.. This scent is so opulent, rich, old money vibe, pleasantly bitter, dark herbal with hints of matured rose. Excellent for winter and special occasions.

This is a lovely fragrance, the opening is the best on this fragrance, mid note phase is great too, with the carnation shinning a little bit more, and with the dry down comes the lovely incense and patchouli, not so much the sandalwood though, good longevity, beast projection, I LOVE IT <3

A deep, warm, enveloping scent. For me, it's more of a soft oriental. Slightly sweet, gentle notes, elegant, bringing that wonderful, unique feeling of envelopment that oriental perfumes provide. Good longevity, though the sillage quickly becomes intimate, close to the skin.

I love it - it was my love from the first sight - sniff I should say but unfortunately on my skin longevity is very poor - within two hours all gone.

Intoxicating, mysterious, sensual... addictive. You've been warned.

The term 'sensuous / sensual' is disturbingly misused and overused (that I'm gutted). Soir d'Оrient is anything but that. It is, however, enigmatic, intoxicating, piercing, mysterious, powerful & classy. This would go well with some flowy black garments. Pungent black pepper right off the bat (dominating the saffron) in the opening. I could tell they're so heavy with the top notes as it makes the scent so volatile yet pungent during this phase. Dry dusty galbanum, patchouli (oakmoss accord), chewy balsam give that enchanting deep woods aspect (not quite green). Oud accord (there's no oud here), rose geranium of Middle Eastern orientation integrates balancedly with Sisley's signature chypre. I also get something salty in the backbone, like ambergris accord utilised in some Arabian frags with ambergris base. The incense aspect, which smells like smoky burnt wood to me and feels synthetic, dims the tone overall. The drydown, unfortunately, shows strong patchouli that smells very distant from the 'ideal' oakmoss accord they tried to aim at, unlike its fellows: Eau du Soir & Soir du Lune that give off a more accurate presence of oakmoss. I find this part to be a bit unattractive. If I were Sisley, I'd create a lovechild between this and Eau du Soir (too elegant for my taste). Tone down this oudi-ness, rose, and synthetic black pepper. Make it more green and woody with heavier galbanum. There, they'll have a signature witchy scent in Sisley's style.

Not a brand I'm that familiar with. I have tried several Sisley's but tend to leave them alone as I do with most 'Women only' brands. I know, I know I should be more open but I kinda like the restriction as the market is big enough without trying everything that comes out. Soir d'Orient is different though, I figured I'd pass comment on what is a fairly appealing fragrance. I say that as it is available in department stores but does have that niche slightly middle eastern edge. I say 'slightly' because this is firmly in the safe, modern, western camp but with a nod to oud and incense which instantly would make me take notice (If I was a woman) Yes I say that because this is still ultimately quite a feminine floral scent, not overbarely rosy and with a hint of pepper and resin and a base of woods. I just think it's a bit soul less and generic the bottle looks great if not a little deceptive, reminding me of Armani prive or those upper class gold/black combo oud/rose combinations. Sadly it doesn't deliver the goods. So really nothing to set this apart from a host of interesting orientals, still a nice perfume though. If it went a bit braver and smokey with the incense I might just wear it myself.

Blind bought this because I have a vintage mini of Eau de Soir and really coveted a black bottle with that incredible cap. It helps that I also enjoy galbanum, incense, and rose + oud combinations, so I envisioned that if anything, I would still like this even if I don't find it outstanding. The opening was strong, spicy, and dark. Smoky, herbal, rosiness enveloped me from half a spray on my inner elbow. The scent grips your attention as a mysteriously stunning person entering the room would. You feel their presence but you're not sure if they would welcome being approached. The perfume starts off with an incredible projection but quietens down immensely in the second hour or so. On me, it dried down smelling fresh and oddly reminded me of fougeres. The "oud" that people are catching at the opening dissipates in the dry down. Not a particularly easy wear but it evoked similar vibes to that of Chanel No. 19. This would work brilliantly as a night version of No.19, now that I think about it. They both share the green, leathery, rosy profile, and exude old money vibes with a dash of aloofness. Enjoyable but best suited for specific moods imo!

Very sexy and sensuous. A whiff of it fills your head like a potent alcohol- in a good sense, like a perfect sip of a sweet rum cocktail in a garden of roses with someone that just drives you wild and turns you on. As the description implies, I find it best suited in mood for dinners, dates, the like. Too strong to wear regularly at school, work etc. for me, I like my everyday scents strong enough to notice but faint enough to ignore. A bit too pricey for the specific use it has, as those situations are somewhat seldom for someone not very affluent... like myself. Has this tendendcy to almost smell somewhat soupy (aromatic,salty) when mixing with any amount of sweat? Maybe I am just imagining it and fixating on my own smell so much I start to imagine things, but that's what I've noted. Goes without saying, the bottle is absolutely beautiful, the sculpture of a cork would be worth buying on its own were it for sale as decoration. I do so recommend this one if you can afford it and have uses for it! I can't give it a full "love" rating however, due to what I feel makes it a bit too impractical.

On me this starts off quite dark and sultry, then gradually becomes lighter and brighter. Dry, tannic roses and a leathery saffron give way to a prickly black pepper and a slightly bitter, green undertone with a touch of citrus zest. There's a notable fizziness to it, which probably has a lot to do with the black pepper and I'm sure some kind of aldehyde as well. The dry down reminded me of the base in Soir de Lune, a cold, earthy, ashen accord with whispers of rose, so I thought there was oakmoss involved also. It's a distinctive, elegant perfume, Eastern smelling, but without the ubiquitous dollop of synthetic 'oud'. It's less musky and more clean, dry and spicy. I would say it's unisex, but you definitely have to like potpourri roses before considering.

The dry down is EVERYTHING with this! I first applied my usual three sprays (wrist, neck, hair) before work and left thinking maybe I should've tried it at home first. It felt rather loud and masculine. Not terrible, but not really my style. Then about an hour later I smelled my wrist and was caught off guard by how much it had mellowed. Suddenly it was more rose and incense, beautifully soft and spicy. Now over 7 hours later the rose and saffron have stepped back a bit and I'm left with a soft incense with a bit of patchouli. Heavenly! Interestingly, I don't love how the scent comes off from my hair. A lot of the opening/middle notes are still present when I take my hair down and give it a shake, and it just doesn't have the same vibe.

Dopo 10 anni dalla sua uscita noto che non ha avuto un grande successo,cioè non l'ho mai sentito su nessuno e non l'ho mai visto pubblicizzato,ne sento mai parlare. A me era piaciuto, ho comprato un cappotto di stoffa apposta per poterlo spruzzare e sentirlo in inverno. Le note che ha nel cuore riprendono quelle dell'altro Soire, ha quel fiore bianco e pepe, ma aggiunge uno strano inizio denso e strano,ma particolarmente efficace. Incenso misterioso e qualcosa di giallo, è unisex al 100%. Abbastanza elegante, senza pacciughi di vaniglia per bambine o altra roba da mangiare,frutti e cioccolata. E non c'è nemmeno l'oudh. Forse l'ultimo profumo per adulti.

Sisley Paris categorises this is a unisex fragrance. Not sure why fragrantica has it as female. Anyway. A very unique oriental. It is not overly aldehydic, so it escapes smelling "old". It is an intense fragrance. Extremely spicy and warm. But it has a "tangy" undercurrent. Maybe it is just more mandarin than most orientals, maybe it is something else. But it makes this stand out from fragrances like Opium, Shalimar or Aramis. It's worth the purchase just for the bottle. Literally a work of art.

This perfume used to be my evening scent years ago, I loved it and I have some amazing memories. However I have changed it, I think it’s because I am not massive on incense anymore. It is an amazing evening perfume, smells expensive, very long lasting, you would leave a trail on your lovers sheets, you would be remembered, it’s so good. It is not sweet a lot, I get rose and oud, a lot of incense, the Ortodox church vibe, which I loved it.

at first very special but after an hour turns out to be a very ,very masculine scent (for some time i even thought it was coming from my husband who sat next to me). no sweetness , no flowers at all. just a woody-mossy scent. and of course like all the perfumes from the sisley house, a pricey one.

I liked it but I didn't love it. I was actually disappointed, I thought this would be a love for me! I didn't find it very strong or unique.

Same as the original but with an oriental opening saffron and cinnamon for me personally it’s good but the original is wayyyyy better

Smells very masculine on me. So, no!

I really wanted to love this. For years I had been reading reviews on it and had been debating whether to blind buy a bottle or not. Then one day while on Fragnet's site purchasing something else, it showed up in the search results, and (woohoo!), they had a travel sprayer available. So, into my cart it went along with the rest of my order. Oh, I was so impatient for this to arrive. I looked so forward to it, more than all the other scents I purchased that day. Once the package finally arrived, (why does it take so long for their orders to ship anyway?), it was the first perfume I tried and my immediate impression was... no ... no, no, no, no, no. This cannot be. This is nothing I imagined. I expected a rosy Oriental fragrance with a little bit of Magie Noir tossed in, and lots of amber. Well, this certainly has the dark of Magie Noir, though not the skillfulness, imo, of that scent. This is a dark, dry, medicinal chypre on me. Amber, what amber? Rose, what rose? There's nothing Oriental or warm about this very cold and clinical scent. The first spray made me recoil. I didn't realize that I would respond to this scent the same way throughout the rest of the wear. The saffron and geranium took over this scent and made it unbearably antiseptic to me. Why would I want to wear a fragrance that makes me smell like I just spent time in a hospital? There is nothing in here that redeems this fragrance for me either, not even the anemic rose. I am so glad I didn't bb a bottle of this. I would have been upset if I had. Just goes to show that you really can't go by reviews, since scent is so subjective. You really have to try it for yourself – especially for an expensive perfume. I'm sure this smells wonderful to and on the right person. Sadly, that person isn't me. There is a bright spot though. The person I passed it on to loved it and told me it smells wonderful on her. So, you just never know. Skin chemistry is a crazy thing.

I was so glad to finally find and test Soir d'Orient in a store last night, I sprayed it directly on my wrist and could smell it even through my mask, it was that potent. Its debut was soapy, and I have nothing against that, but it was not what I expected from this fragrance... And things went downhill from there, as on my skin it took a sharp, intensely masculine turn. I guess I imagined it to be softer and creamier, since it's marketed as a women's fragrance, but on my skin this is a male fragrance through and through. Plus, I find it kind of aggressive, even off-putting, so it's not something I would ever wear. Also, there must be plenty of dupes of it out there, because I had the distinct impression that I'd smelled it before, too many times, which, for me, killed its charm and originality.

A tad bit weaker Bond No 9 Dubai Emerald , I just blind bought it and I’m really disappointed. I’m having one spray Emerald on my left wrist and one Sisley spray on my right wrist - I can hardly differentiate them . If you like Emerald just buy this instead due to the price difference . Marketed as being for women but it’s very masculine to my nose just like Emerald , I can’t believe how similar they are !!!! Test before buy , do not blind buy under any circumstances ! It’s a lot of incense going on here and rose , that’s all I can pick up from it . I personally don’t like it on me as a woman . I’m so sad now .

This is literally a scent bomb! If you would drop the bottle, the whole city would smell. Very dark oriental scent. And powerful! Spices, saffron, geranium and intense rose note fill the air when this one is sprayed out of the bottle. I wouldn't wear it. I can't imagine myself ever wearing it. I can't even imagine what the suitable occasion should be. It's definitely an evening scent, but not suitable for clubbing or something like that. More of a theater kind of scent, when you're the leading actress, I would say. I guess it's an interesting perfume, but not made for me.

Today I tested it, and as much as I LOVE Sisley's perfumes, this one just wasn't what I expected. To those that do know Soir de Lune, I feel like it's just very smiliar! D'Orient is as if Soir de Lune got a bit more spicy and incense was added to it... I think that Sisley aimed here for an oriental fragrance that would be accessible to more people, especially to those that can't deal with typical heavy oriental scents. And to me, their olfactory version of Orient is just not appealing - it lacks character and resembles Sior de Lune waaay too much.

I nearly bought this but thank goodness I bought a tester. They will not give these away in store! This started off Rose & smoky to me then after about 15 mins turned to generic men's aftershave scent. Every time I sniffed my arm it put me off. I left it to the evening & still an aftershave scent. This reminds me somewhat of Pierre Cardin Rose but no spice. This starts off for me feminine but turns quickly masculine & stays that way. I love so many of the notes in this but for me it has gone wrong somewhere & so glad I didn't purchase pricey frag.

I paid alot for only 30 ml. I was super excited to discover this amazing perfume/ I wore a lot of it and went to a party. I asked everyone what they think about my perfume and surprisingly no one could smell anything on me. Such a waste of money. I wore it many many times, on my clothes, on my skin and hair. it does not last even an hour! I should have chose Tom Ford, at least they have a better Longevity.

Ok, I see that I am probably the only person in the world who does not like it (and I like Sisley). For me it is a traditional combo of dry rose, geranium, incense and patchouli. I smelled dozens of perfums and oils which smells the same (mainly the arabic perfumes). This is a typical Middle East note combination used in so many arabic perfumes and Sisley does not add anything new nor original.

This started out so beautifully! Then something "wrong" crept in . . . and, of course, after that arrived I couldn't ignore it and continue loving the rest. It was the geranium. I have never liked the smell of geranium so detecting it in any blend is an immediate turn-off. Shucky darns - just gotta stick with my beloved Soir de Lune.

Very sour rose scent with a bit of pepper and incense. Unfortunately Sisley brand often doesn't match my taste. Does sour mean elegant for them? Or is it my skin chemistry? I dunno.

One of Sisley's better offerings, still I find it too bland and loud. Quite similar to Agent Provocateur, but without the subtlety. **
