On The Sofa

One of the few newer Korean brands that actually delivers good quality scents. (lots of essential oily listed in the INCIE, lavender, bergamot, eucalyptus etc). I disagree with another reviewer about not getting anything here for your money. I do get that some people steadily have this thing about ' I am ooooh so extraordinary, I am a unicorn, I have to smell like unicorn and the whole world steadily has to have my very extraordinary presence up their nostrils down their lungs causing an itch in their throats just so they REALLY now HOW very special and extraordinary I AM' etc, and hey, that's perfectly fine. Oo BUT, not EVERYone has this idea in mind when thinking about a 'good perfume'. Me for example. ;) Why I like this scent so much: It's not 'ordinary' as in 'boring' - (maybe also the fault of the AI translation on their website that they used this English word). It is SUBLTE. It is elegant, clean, musky, and yes, it is light as it is mainly (but not only) for you. If I spray this on (my wrist and into my hair with three full sprays) I have this subtle, soft, clean, musky scent veil around me for 5-7 hours, and without it punching me into my nose every second like those 'beast mode' 'creations I can't stand. Some people did pick up this light scent when I walked by and asked me what is was as it made them feel comfortable and good. So, no, this is not 'eeeextraordinary', it's not for your peacock days (Mai-aweee, mai-aweeee!!!!!), it's just a pleasant scent at least I could smell for years, liking it and never getting annoyed or tired of it. So, it that's your thing, try this one, it's lovely.

Feathery, perfectly comfortable. Lovely "bed perfume." Seasonally versatile. However: Longevity lasts about as long as your "Time of Useful Consciousness" does when you're optimally tired, with contentment in your heart, and sinking into a clean, soft, fluffy bed which is just the right temperature. If you want to smell like a baby swan for 20 minutes, this is your perfume.

I visited the Sisology website and had to click on a heading titled “Ordinary Parfum”— I. KID. YOU. NOT! Ok, so I ask myself— why in the world would I pay over 100€ (nearly $113 US Dollars) for 50ml (1.69 ounces) for an “ordinary perfume”? If I want an “Extraordinary Parfum”... well, then I would have to cough up 140€ ($153 US Dollars). I do have to admit that at least Sisology is not trying to fool anyone with convoluted stories about their ingredients being extracted from the petrified glands of an ancient king found in a secret burial site, so they can siphon hundreds of Euros/Dollars from our wallets. Sisology gets 10/10 for honesty.
