The olfactory profile at the opening is dominated by a clear, but not bitter almond; it is a creamy almond that sets the stage for an unusual and fascinating floral heart. The floral evolution: The heart of the fragrance is a golden garden. Mimosa brings that characteristic powdery and sunny facet, while Liatride adds a herbaceous touch reminiscent of sweet hay and blond tobacco. The coconut here is not tropical or "beachy", but serves to give body and a velvety texture to the jasmine flowers. The bottom: The closure is a timeless classic. Vanilla marries with Amber and Musk to create a warm and reassuring "Quiet Luxury" "skin effect". Elan is the ideal fragrance for the woman looking for a sweet but intellectual scent. The combination of Mimosa and Liatride makes it unique in the panorama of modern orientals, avoiding the "candy" effect and focusing everything on a radiant and timeless femininity. To my nose, the fragrance opens with the scent of unsweetened almonds accompanied by a subtle citrusy brightness, even though no citrus notes are officially listed in the pyramid. Almost immediately afterwards, powdery mimosa begins to bloom alongside delicate jasmine, giving the composition a soft, airy elegance. The dry down is built around soft musk and smooth vanilla, though personally I struggle to detect much of the amber promised in the notes. Overall, the fragrance feels light, understated, and quietly comforting rather than bold or attention grabbing. There’s something very nostalgic about Elan, it brings to mind sunlight filtering through lace curtains on a calm spring morning. The mimosa adds a soft golden haze to the composition, making it feel warm, delicate, and effortlessly wearable. Longevity on my skin is unfortunately quite modest, disappearing from both skin and clothes after around three hours. Projection is moderate during the first hour before settling very close to the skin. Elan would be a lovely choice for anyone who appreciates subtle, intimate fragrances with a gentle powdery musky character.

Elan is a floral, very rosy and soft feminine scent. It opens with a clear rosey floral feel, slightly powdery and airy, then becomes warmer and more creamy as it develops. You can notice a gentle sweetness with hints of almond and soft white florals like jasmine, giving it a smooth, almost delicate “floral cloud” effect. In the dry down, it turns cozy and warm with vanilla, musk, and a light amber touch. Elan feels elegant, soft, feminine without being loud and very easy to wear. It brings me comfort and reminds me of my grandma’s rose garden, familiar, and full of warmth.

Elan is a soft, powdery fragrance that’s easy to wear and elevates your own existing scent. The almond adds a creamy note that adds character to the scent, but doesn’t overwhelm it. There is a femininity to this fragrance that’s easy feels like a bright summer day, or an elegant afternoon party in the spring. This is perfect for cooler summer days, or warms spring days. This lasts 5 hrs on my skin, I love it.

A rich, smooth, airy, ambery warm, vanilla-almond floral. Unlike any other. And really nice. Luminous and nuanced. Softly sweet, pleasingly tart, and buttery. A perfect musk. I mainly get a swirl of mimosa, almond, coconut, and vanilla on my skin. A hint of rose. I struggle with the majority of Francesca Bianchi scents, but Elan brings her challenging DNA to mind in a very lovely way.

The opening is INCREDIBLE! I loooooooove honey and the opening smells like honeyed mimosa. A few minutes later, on skin I get a hint of saffron but on paper, the ambergris shows up to steal the show, I like it. Won’t be mass appealing but it’s my kind of vibe, it smells as sexy as my baby (Midnight Mischief Vivamor). The almond is mute on my skin and to my nose.

Elan is very pretty and elegant. The almond is bitter, the jasmine and mimosa are soft. The vanilla and musk are light and clean. A lovely spring scent ..or a beautifully nostalgic autumn evening scent. A pleasure to wear.

This perfume is very strong. It smells like a bunch of flowers and something antique, like an old wardrobe filled with bouquets. It is not my style for everyday wearing. The mimosa screams with joy, I could not sense the almond right after spraying it. Of course, perfumes cannot be directly linked to a particular age, gender, or color. However, I can imagine someone older than me wearing it. Maybe to a wedding or any event that requires a scent that announces your presence. This fragrance has a lot of personality and takes you directly under a mimosa tree.

You’re not going to get the flowery reviews that are listed below from me. I over-sprayed, could hardly smell it and then it completely disappeared. Maybe I’m just nose blind to this scent, but I’ll pass.

The transition toward the base is wrapped in a delicate, incense-like smoke, reinforcing the perfume’s non-linear character. “Élan” reveals far more nuance than its official structure suggests, unfolding in layers that continuously shift and reframe themselves. This evolving complexity invites repeated return—each inhalation offering a new facet, a different tonal shade. In the drydown, amber takes on a mature, slightly arid character, refined by a sheer veil of vanilla that introduces softness and quiet opulence. The golden florals persist until the final moments, casting a luminous sheen across the skin—sun-warmed, indulgent, and enduring well into dusk. “Élan” possesses the hallmarks of a modern masterpiece in the making, aligning seamlessly with the season’s appetite for radiant, textured compositions while maintaining a distinctive and introspective allure.

Almond, mimosa, and jasmine are the most noticeable notes, creating a warm, delicate, and very skin-like scent experience. Many reviewers describe it as a “quiet luxury” fragrance: refined, comforting, and effortlessly wearable, especially for spring or mild summer days. It carries a nostalgic, feminine feeling with a base of vanilla, musk, and amber that adds warmth without becoming overly sweet. This is not a loud or overpowering perfume. Your skin but better. Elan is a great everyday scent. Not too floral, not too sweet, not too musky. I really enjoy the mimosa flower in this. It reminds me of a summer I spent in Puerto Rico amongst the mimosa trees. This is a great scent to throw on when you dont want to think too hard, you just want to smell fresh and not worry about offending anyone. I think Elan is also a great performer for the warm months. It stays close to the skin but still creates a little bubble around you that you can smell. I definitely recommend this for all the people in their clean girl era.

I enjoyed this fragrance when I gave it a full wear test. It's a soft, slightly powdery floral. It does remind me of good girl gone bad, not a dupe but the same style fragrance. It didn't wow me but I can see other people really liking it. It's a pretty girl perfume for sure. I'd give it a solid 6/10.

I can’t help but think of Delina by PDM or Delilah but without the harshness. Very floral and powder bomb in the opening but dries a bit sweeter and smoother than Delilah which to me makes it an easier reach and much more approachable. It’s very classy and feminine.
