Honestly, I heard of this/1692 from an advertisement on Facebook. I am not a Paramore fan, but I'm obsessed with the recent orange blossom/marshmallow trend. I've got Oriana, Love Don't be Shy, and Sintra. THIS BEATS THEM ALL. Shame on you, Kilian. lmao This is the orange candy yum yum fluff amaze-balls. My favorite part is the ribbon of neroli that peeps thru. It doesn't mesh/blend-- it whispers thru. I adore it. Her perfumes are so well layered. (Indie oils absolutely need time to settle/age after new/shipping. 1692 oils get stronger/better as they sit) I had no idea there was drama about 1692 until I had a few orders in. I've done 8 orders since Dec 2023 and everything is amazing. YES- you must wait and sometimes it's the full BUSINESS days. But no issues on my end, I'm a HUGE FAN.

I have the 1oz EDP, the 10mL EDP, and the 10mL oil-based rollerball from the first launch. I was the one that voted D&G Devotion as a similar scent... But they are by no means dupes for eachother, and I would choose CCC in any situation, every time. For me, Devotion is diabetic sweetness in an orange candy. CCC is obviously orange candy, but has nuances only an expert perfumer would know how to create. It’s not linear or too much or too little, not is it blended into vague nothingness. You just gotta try it for yourself... It’s fantastic. The dream would be Miss Williams of Paramore using this scent.. Oh that would be quite the dream.

Saw the ad on Instagram as a Paramore fan (I saw this one and Thank You For The Venom and had to try them). It smells like a marshmallow orange soda float sundae. VERY sweet, possibly too sweet for some.

Sweet orange marshmallow fluff. Delicious. There's this underlying smell of Sweet Tarts which is ever-so-slightly sharp, but otherwise this is a delicious, fluffy gourmand blend.

Sixteen92 is doing a revamp to streamline operations and reduce lead times (I waited three months for my first order and it seems this isn't unusual), and are discontinuing some formats and retiring some fragrances altogether. Crushcrushcrush is one that's only going to be available in a seasonal rotation, the notes sounded amazing, and I love the oil rollerball format (being discontinued) so I ordered. I got it faster than my previous two orders and I'll admit I couldn't wait to let this settle and tried it straight outta my mailbox. It's a lovely white floral to my nose with hints of orange and a sweet, creamy undercurrent. I cant wait to see what it turns into as it matures. I love the theme and kitsch of Sixteen92, Claire Baxter is a Texan (like me), and Halloween is my favorite holiday. The frag descriptions make me smile, with their referenced song lyrics and movie/TV show quotes. The website is really fun to browse bc she describes her perfumes in the abstract (frozen marshmallow, fog, spectral musk, mahogany chairs, antique books, ghost whispers, tarot card spreads....you get the idea). I'm not a goth girl by any means and many of her frags are spring and summer themed also (anchored in angsty pop culture) but the nostalgia invoked by so many of her designs has me hooked. The collection is well-worth the exploration.
