Amber Dunes

Sweet sugared violet and vanilla with a warm amber and musk at the base. It's not in my stash anymore as I found it too luxurious for me, who usually only wears camisoles/tshirt and jeans. It's a very pretty, fancy scent to be worn with blouses and satin skirts. A total crowd pleaser, I don't think anyone would dislike this!

It’s ok, honestly when I smelled it, it reminded me of the smell of plastic used in those toy baby dolls in the early 2000’s. I did get that opening citrus note, but overall it seems a little too sweet (maybe too fake sweet?) and I don’t fully like when I catch a whiff of it. I don’t know if I see myself grabbing this, but it’s also summer so it could preform better in the cooler months. Just alright, no notes I haven’t smelled before.

I'm picking up a lot of raspberry in the top notes?? Anyone else? a berry scent in a sangria/juice sort of way... No amber OR sandalwood base notes after it dries down, it just becomes a faint floral vanilla. EDIT: Idk how such a fruit/berry heavy fragrance could be called "amber dunes". Coming back to it with a fresh nose, it's so much more of a cheap artificial raspberry gum scent than I remember? Like a very cloying body spray.
