Boardwalk Delight

Beautiful, Sweet, Beachy, aquatic/marine, fresh, fruity, creamy, warm, powdery, musky, feminine, charming, flirty, playful, uplifting, fun, cheerful, delightful, tempting, inviting, sensual I feel like possibly the best way to describe this is to say that it’s like the classic Pink Sugar, except it’s on a beach vacation. It’s that sugary sweet cotton candy scent with vanilla, but it’s lighter, softer, more fresh, more aquatic, and with a tropical coconut twist. There’s a warm and gentle salty ocean breeze that carries some creamy coconut and fresh and juicy raspberry sorbet on it. The deeper into the dry down it gets the more warm and sensual it becomes. The warm, creamy, and sensual vanilla, the sugary sweet, delightful, delicious, and delicate cotton candy, and the golden warmth of the amber all become more prominent and really start to shine. The soft and powdery musk peeks through too, but it’s very subtle. It’s not very prominent at all, but it’s more to just enhance the other notes, while helping to round out the fragrance nicely. This is very well balanced... it’s fresh yet cozy, cool yet warm, aquatic yet creamy, sugary sweet yet delicate, cheerful yet sensual, and yummy yet sophisticated. I love how it balances out so well so that none of the notes are overpowering. Even though it’s a sugary sweet scent it’s not too sweet as to be cloying even in the heat. It has a delicate feel to it too which makes it a very easy reach. This definitely feels feminine to me, and I think women of any age can wear it. It does have just a slightly youthful feel to it imo, but please don’t let that deter you. Like I previously mentioned it’s also sophisticated, so it’s perfect for those of us who enjoy sweet and gourmand scents at any age. It’s just very beautifully done. I personally prefer this for the spring and summer months because of the beachy feel to it, but it’s not so beachy/coconut prominent that it couldn’t be worn during anytime of the year. I think this is fitting for most occasions other than something fancy. It’s definitely an excellent casual scent, and is fitting for work or school too. It’s very pleasant, on the softer/more intimate side of perfumes, and non-offensive. I do own and enjoy several Skylar fragrances, but Boardwalk Delight is my favorite. I also have Vanilla Sky, Caramel Alps, Fall Cashmere, Sweet Morningside, Nude Skin, and Lime Sands (my least favorite, it was a surprise freebie with an order). I’m a big fan of beachy, sweet, vanilla, and gourmand scents, and Boardwalk Delight just happens to hit all of those categories. I get good performance with Boardwalk Delight. The longevity is pretty decent, it lasts about 6-7 hours on me before I feel like it needs touched up. The projection is nice, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me.

Sweet, vanilla, powdery, aquatic, fruity, bright, fresh, creamy, coconut, warm, musky, feminine, flirty, playful, charming, whimsical, dreamy, delightful, uplifting, cheerful, yummy, cozy, comforting, unique On me this opens sweet, fresh, and watery with bright raspberry and slightly tart apple swirled with creamy coconut milk and fresh watery notes. As it dries down it grows more sweet and warm as the delicate and sweet cotton Candy, powdery vanilla, soft musk, and warm amber start to shine through. Such a truly delightful yummy fragrance! This is super pretty and surprisingly a bit unique too. I’m a huge gourmand fan, and particularly enjoy marshmallow and cotton candy scents. I do have a few of the ones in the reminds me section, but I don’t think that this is super similar to them. This feels like floating on a sweet and powdery cloud of cotton Candy over a boardwalk. It’s sweet and yummy, but also a bit fresh and watery with a subtle fruity accord. I do kind of agree with the people saying that this has a waffle cone scent to it, as well as the reviewer below about this being like the older and more sophisticated sister of Pink Sugar (another love of mine). This feels quite feminine, and even though it’s sweet still feels suitable for women of any age. It feels best suited for spring, summer, and fall. This feels best suited for more casual occasions. I get decent performance with this. The longevity is around 6 hours, and the projection is on the moderate side. I do have other Skylar fragrances including Vanilla Sky, Fall Cashmere, Caramel Alps, Nude Skin, and Sweet Morningside. Boardwalk Delight is my favorite of the ones I own. If you are looking for a sweet, adult, feminine perfume, look no further. I want to start off by saying that I prefer sweeter perfumes. I love the smell of spun sugar, vanilla, marshmallow, brown sugar, taffy, caramel, cotton candy, cupcakes, etc. I love the smell of an edible perfume. If it makes me crave something sweet to eat, then I want to wear it. I used to wear Midnight Fantasy by Britney Spears, Pink Sugar by Aquolina, and all of the sweet BBW & VS sprays. That was when I was in my teens and 20's. Now that I'm older, I still prefer the sweeter scents, but now I want to smell my age and not like a teenager. Some of my staples are Prada Candy, V&R Bonbon, Kilian LDBS, and Sol De Janeiro Cheirosa 62. I received Boardwalk Delight as a sample, and I immediately fell in love with it. It's sweet without being too sweet. It lasts a long time. It smells just as the name portrays. When I wear it alone, it reminds me of taffy, funnel cakes, cotton candy, and candied apples. It's so mouthwatering and yummy. I purchased the full-size bottle right away. Another wonderful thing about this perfume is that it layers nicely with just about anything else I wear that I want to have a sweeter note. I do not like woody or earthy scents. Having said that, I have a couple of woody scents that are too overpowering alone, so to counter that I layer Boardwalk Delight on top of those earthy scents and then I have a delicious campfire marshmallow perfume. It also layers well with any perfumes that have coffee or chocolate notes. I would recommend this perfume to anyone that enjoys a delicious, sweet scent that doesn't smell cheap, synthetic, or too girly. I've tried Cloud by AG. It smells somewhat similar but certainly doesn't have the longevity that BD does. I think this is an excellent blind buy for those with sweeter tastes like me.

This smells like the end of summer. This is an airy sweet cotton candy scent that is youthful and playful not childish. The watery notes elevate Boardwalk Delight. This does not smell like briny sea water; it just smells aquatic. I pick up something else that is sheer and sweet but I have a hard time determining what it is. Overall, I find the scent to be addicting, refreshing, and fun. Now for the negatives; performance is average at best and inconsistent at its worst. Some days the performance is ok, other days it’s poor. I wore this during my beach vacation and Boardwalk Delight would just evaporate off of my skin in the humidity. This seems to do better indoors in a mild temperature-controlled environment. I wore this to work when I wanted something a little more fun but not loud and this was perfect. I see some of the negative views state that they pick up a soapy smell and I did not get that at all. A complaint I do have is that the cap is very difficult to remove. Which is interesting because I also own Fall Cashmere and that bottle cap cannot stay put. This layers beautifully, some of my suggestions are Ariana Grande Pink Woods and Cloud Pink, Cheirosa 68, BBW Cotton Candy Clouds, and Floral Street Wonderland Peony . But my favorite must try layering combo is Boardwalk Delight and BBW Pistachio Glaze. This smelled like a carnival in the best way possible. The salty, sugar, and nutty notes in Pistachio Glaze were the perfect complement to Boardwalk Delight. I love this scent, this is literally Labor Day and you are waiting on a beach boardwalk at sunset for the end of summer fireworks show to start. But I have to rate it an 8/10 because of the inconsistent performance.

Based on reviews such as "plastic, young, and cheap smelling", I've held off for 2yrs in buying this Boardwalk Delight by Skylar. $75 for something that smells as described? No way! However, ya'll already know Im'ma always on the hunt for a good sale. And yes, honey, I got it at a great price for a blind buy. I had mentally prepared myself for disappointment. I mean, if someone is letting it go for this low a price, I mean... am I right?! Came in, let it sit 24hrs (that's how unexcited I was when it arrived). Well? I friggin LOVE it!!! Its grown airy cotton candy w/JUICY, watery, summer berry medley juice. Yes, yes, yes! I wouldn't say "young" rather, I'd say "Playful". I wouldn't say cheap, I'd say sometimes we want to kick our heels off, and just wear comfy shorts and a cute Tee with our hair up in a pony tail. As for "Plastic", sometimes I am okay with sparkling wine out of a plastic champagne flute, and toss in some jammy berries. SALT is my very favorite from this line. I have a back up bottle of Salt and travel minis for my purse. Why bring Salt up in this review? Because there is defiantly a hint of Salt in Boardwalk Delight. I mean, can't have a Boardwalk without the the beach/ocean. This is Santa Cruz Fun! You have the Boardwalk, the ocean, the rides, the sweet and salty carnival food in the air, and of course the cotton candy! I love this! I smelled this in store today and was taken aback by how much it reminded me of walking into an ice cream shop with freshly made waffle cones! While I can see where its supposed to be cotton candy, and can picture that when I smell it if I'm thinking about it, my first thought even hours later is that it smells like a fresh waffle cone! Absolutely delicious. One of only a few perfumes I've smelled so far that I immediately liked both on a test strip and my skin, even hours later. Coming here and discovering there's coconut in it is surprising, as I really don't like coconut overall. I guess if I think about it while smelling, I can get the coconut, but it really just makes for a creamy warm scent - something I can't believe I'm saying as I truly, do NOT like coconut. Maybe because it's coconut *milk* it's more wearable for me? I think this is most ideal for spring (perfect perhaps?), but I voted this to be a winter, spring *and* summer scent because I'm not certain if it'll become cloying, but I think it still feels like yummy, freshly baked food that I'd appreciate in the winter, and in summer I like the idea that I might smell like someone's existing sweet treat hehe. Very interested to see how it'll wear once it gets hotter in Canada!

As a cotton candy lover, I often struggle to find cotton candy scents that are true cotton candy scents, and not headache inducing, play-doh-like artificial sweetness. Boardwalk Delight hits all of the marks for me. It is gently sweet, with strong notes of caramelized sugar, vanilla, and marshmallow. At the same time, the sweetness is cut by something sharp, on me it comes across as citrus, but I suspect it's the raspberry and apple. There's also a softness that a lot of folks here have identified as "laundry-like" and to me it smells airy, almost like the feeling of walking around outside in the early fall, when the air just starts to have a whisper of a chill. This is such a fantastic scent on me. Even my partner, who hates cotton candy, randomly told me that I smelled "really good" when I walked by wearing this one. And he's not usually one to compliment! Highly recommend if you want a yummy-smelling gourmand, but don't want it to feel heavy. This is the perfect balance for me!

Light, fluffy, atmospheric, sweet, and fun! Wasn't quite sure what to think at first with this one. Was an initial "oh, this is nice. Like, not love, but like!" However, the more I've worn it, the better it has gotten. Probably one of the best cotton candy perfumes I've worn. It's so good. A gourmand that's perfect for spring or summer. Even chill enough to wear in an office setting (which I am doing right now as I type this, got her layered with Heavy Cream from Phlur). I could see this working for any age range. There's something nostalgic but also like she has her shit together. I have no clue how to describe this beyond that. I'd definitely recommend getting the travel size first to see if you vibe with it before getting the full size. I can see where some people may not like this if they are used to heavy gourmands or aren't into gourmands at all. It walks the line between gourmand and clean very closely. Overall, it's beautiful and great for many different occasions.

I put off trying this for awhile because I felt like it would be too juvenile with the cotton candy note. Then after reading reviews on here and seeing the laundry like smell some were getting it even more turned me off from trying since that’s not usually my vibe. I ended up getting a decant through a scent subscription and I’m so glad I finally tried it. I’m in love! It’s the perfect cotton candy fresh almost laundry vibe I never knew I needed. I have quickly gone through my decant and ordered a full bottle. I love that it’s not too sweet and has the right amount of freshness to ground it. I can overspray without overpowering or offending anyone with my scent. It definitely gets compliments. If you’re on fence because you think it will be too sweet or like the celebrity scents with cotton candy definitely give it a shot. It’s such an easy reach you’ll just smell good type of scent that’s well blended.

This is the most grown up cotton candy scent I've ever smelled. The dry down is very sweet and warm and smells like what eating a carnival dessert on a warm summer day would feel like. I received more compliments from coworkers while wearing this than any other scent. It's noticeable, and even if it's over sprayed it fills the air around you without being offensive. I'm so glad I bought a full size bottle, because the 1ml dab on sample did not do this justice. It really needs to be sprayed onto the skin for you to smell all of the notes. I'm currently layering this with EOS Coconut Waters body lotion and the longevity is a solid 8 hours. The scent from the lotion doesn't over power this and really lets the perfume shine. This is the sweetest scent I own, but I feel like this is a safe blind buy if you really love gourmand perfumes.

This has been one of my go to signature scents for years before the gourmand craze, when she only had bad reviews calling her synthetic and childish and now she's sold out at Sephora 😭 The quintessential summer perfume. True to its name, straight cotton candy without any base notes muddying that up. Now because of this, it doesn't have the best sillage or longevity as it's essentially just top notes, but this just makes it reapply friendly! I am obsessed with finding perfumes that smell like sugar without smelling "sweet" necessarily. More 1:1 sugar. This accomplishes it so well. Not a synthetic cotton candy, very realistic. Very light, not cloying in the least. I can't wait till it's back in stock to get a full bottle finally. I'm very glad this perfume is getting the shine it deserves! Long time favorite always going back to it.

I blind bought the rollerball version of this perfume and even though this isn’t exactly what I was hoping for, it grew on me. I wanted something airy and cotton candy forward which the opening on this delivers, but then as it dries a soapy? laundry? scent comes into play. At first I was turned off by this quality, but I forced myself to keep wearing it (half because I needed something new and half because I really like drawing little hearts on myself with the rollerball applicator) and it accidentally turned into my signature scent. I’ve come to appreciate how the clean soapy smell gives it complexity and keeps the scent from feeling too juvenile. I don’t love Boardwalk Delight as enthusiastically as I have loved my past signature scents, but it’s light, inoffensive, easy to wear, and I feel it suits me right now.

I don't usually gravitate toward gourmands, but I LOVE THIS!!!!!! It's beyond delicious and I never get tired of smelling it... even when I'm not wearing it I frequently grab my rollerball to take a whiff. It's cotton candy with hints of fruitiness, vanilla, and (to me) marshmallow, yet it never gets overbearingly sweet like I find with many gourmands. The name paints a good picture of what I feel when I wear this -- it's like I'm spending the day at a boardwalk fair. I'm obsessed with the complex, delightfully sugary opening with those raspberry and apple notes. And as it dries down on my skin, it starts to smell like toasted marshmallows. I like wearing a bit of this on my wrists to go to sleep because I love waking up to the smell of that dry down. Amazing beautiful no notes ten out of ten

A super sweet powdery scent that I LOVE, I just wish it had a stronger sillage. After just a few mins of wearing a couple of sprays, it fades immensely and I have to bring my wrist right up to my nose to be able to smell it. Smells like a more nuanced take on cotton candy—it almost reminds me of the “scent machines” (not sure what they’re actually called) at Disney or at carnivals. This scent has 4.42 rating for a good reason - it's lovely! It's amazing how well this scent captures the mood and atmosphere of a theme park / a boardwalk: fun, happy, sweet, carefree, youthful, festive. Good times with your good friends or a date. I'd describe it as a light, fluffy, sweet gourmand. It feels like different scents were mixed together: cotton candy, carmel, even smoke or plastic inflatables by a pool, but they go together surprisingly well. It's a sweet gourmand, but it has some lightness and 'aquaticness' you wouldn't normally expect from a sweet scent. I want to sniff it all the time. And all of this was achieved without harmful chemicals ❤️ I would have bought dozens of scents from Skylar already if they offered travel sprays.

I've left a rambling review for this before. I still absolutely LOVE Boardwalk Delight! The main notes are cotton candy, coconut milk, and vanilla with some raspberry sorbet, guava flower, and water lily thrown in there. To me (like others have mentioned) it smells mostly like a mix of cotton candy, strawberry milk, and dryer sheets, but in a good way! 😄 I might not be in the target age-range for this one (I'm 48) but I keep a carnival in my heart so it fits. This reminds me of all the sweet little beach towns along Highway 101. I live in one of them in Oregon. Road trips, fun in the sun, blue skies... Sugar filled daydreams of better days! 🎡🍨 P.S. This projects and lasts which is rare for a clean hypoallergenic fragrance. 🪷

Smell very similar to Ari by Ariana Grande. It’s very sweet and cute, but not sickly sweet. As Others have mentioned , a bit dryer sheets , like right when you open the dryer, I get that kind of clean smell and the warmth of it, with a bunch of cotton candy , the blue kind because I imagine like a blueberry cotton candy . It’s warm, sweet and airy . Perfect for spring, idk if I would wear this in the heat of summer (in FL) but I will have to see since I wear more aquatic or green fragrances in the humid heat but I don’t think this is too sweet in my skin that it will bother me It’s overall a great gourmand scent that I like because it’s clean, however it doesn’t last more that 3 hrs on skin which was to be expected

Very interesting. This is definitely not a typical cotton candy scent. I refuse to believe there isn't either lime or bergamot in this thing because that's the main note I'm getting in the opening, maybe it's just the way the raspberry and apple are meshing? Anyway, I'm also getting some sort of detergent-like quality, and while I normally HATE smelling like cleaning supplies, something about it works in this. However, when it dries down it’s the perfect cotton candy scent that I was waiting for. I wouldn't consider this fragrance to be gourmand or yummy (at least not in the opening), but definitely clean, fresh, and yet incredibly cozy and comforting. I love this, all phases!

wow!! i wasn't expecting to love this as much as i do! i love sweet gourmand leaning scents but i am very sensitive to headaches and the "sickly sweet" type of scents. but this one is so light and airy and that fresh water note balances this out beautifully. the name is so accurate it smells like walking down a boardwalk with that fresh sea air and a hint of sweet cotton candy lingering. yes it doesn't last as long as id like it, about three to four hours on my clothes and 2ish on my skin. to make it last longer i layer with the eos vanilla cashmere lotion along with double dates by skylar! overall in love with this fragrance just wish it lasted longer

Ugh I can't believe how much I love this perfume!! It is the happiest times of my childhood. Summers at the local fair and trips to Disney. It smells exactly like those locations. It's amazing how scents can affect us and make us feel. I'm happy when I wear this. I do not care that I'm a middle-aged girlie, I will proudly wear this perfume all summer. The cotton candy note is what I smell the most but there's also saltwater taffy, vanilla, caramel and a bit of fruitiness and creaminess. On the down side, it doesn't last and the sillage is weak but I will reapply this all day so I can continue to smell it. Hopefully there's a cheaper dupe out there🤞

To all of the people saying that this scent is too juvenile, I am sorry that your inner child is dead... mine is not. You perhaps lack childlike wonder and curiosity for the world. This scent is more nostalgic rather than juvenile. Upon spraying I immediately delved into the cotton candy notes, but was pleasantly surprised with that aquatics afternotes. It is definitely reminiscent to Vanilla 28 by Kayali or Cloud by Ariana Grande, but I actually think it is more fun and complex than either of those scents. This scent is the Santa Monica Boardwalk. It is walking the beach with a vanilla soft serve. Playful and inviting.. A major yes from me.

This smell is nothing like my usual taste: by the fireplace, iso e super scents, musky woods..but I am obsessed and on my second bottle. This smells nothing like the pink soap. I hated the pink soap so much growing up that I carried paper soap in my purse so I wouldn’t have to use it ever again. This perfume has no cherry, smells nothing like cherry, smells nothing like almond.. I’m so confused. It’s fluffy cotton candy, vanilla, musk...bizarre reviews. It’s beautiful and inoffensive fluffy vanilla cotton candy musk and that’s really it. Never thought I’d wear something like this but it’s an all-time favorite

I am a gourmand girlie through and through. Vanilla, coconut, fruity, candy notes - all that jazz. This is a mix of all of those plus some aquatic notes that make it just clean enough to wear in any setting. I was looking for a scent to wear in the summer that wouldn’t be cloying in the heat, or wasn’t just pure coconut. That’s when I discovered Boardwalk Delight. This is now my signature scent no matter the location or season. Does she smell like the pink bathroom soap? Yes, I can see the comparison. But the dry down is a beautiful mix of clean laundry with cotton candy and vanilla. She’s just too good.

i love this perfume so much. i blind bought it online right after it came out last summer and i don't regret it. wore it to the mall last summer and it's the ONLY fragrance i've gotten a compliment from a stranger on. to me it seems like a mix of clean laundry and cotton candy. i'm 27 and i love wearing it, even though it might be a little juvenile. if it didn't have that laundry-like scent i probably wouldn't wear it out of the house. it also helps balance it from being too sickly sweet i think it hits the mark on the vibe... cotton candy yumminess that reminds me of the carnival/summer in new jersey

I adore this perfume, quite unexpectedly. It smells like a carnival and yes, the boardwalk. I have repurchased this and am on my second bottle and in need of a third. It smells like waffle cones and cotton candy. The edp lasts about 2-3 hours and I need to reapply, but I love it so much that I deal with it. I don’t think it gives off much of a scent bubble either, no one has complimented me on it. So this one is just for me. It’s lovely and happy. Edit: I ended up buying a FB of Cirque du Soleil Leau de Parfum EDP for a similar scent profile and much much longer lasting projection.

Suelo reaplicarlo con frecuencia cuando lo uso. Lo que quiere decir que su duración en mi no es muy larga, pero oh por dios que aroma tan bonito ❤️ es dulce. Muy dulce, pero no abrumador ni empalagador, hay algo en el que lo hace sentirse fresco, quizas las notas acuosas. Me hace pensar en un día de piscina y sol pero con la dulzura de un algodon de azucar derretido sobre la piel bronceada y valida, un coco ligero pero cremoso que hace que el agua el sol y el algodon de azucar se mezclen con suavidad✨️ todo eso imagino cuando huelo este hermoso perfume. Ojala durara un poquito mas

This smells very pleasant and sweet. The cotton candy is overpowering but I love the scent. It does feel like a more juvenile scent but it is nice for a summer day. It does remind me of a Victoria Secret body mist so it makes me feel like this scent would be worn by a middle or high schooler which initially turned me off from it but as it dried down I liked the scent more. I feel this scent is not spectacular or groundbreaking and you can likely live without it if you have other cotton candy scents like Sucre de Coton Eau de Parfum which is significantly cheaper.

A pretty, flirty, fun, and super sweet fragrance! If you like Pink Sugar you’ll probably like this! They’re very similar except I do get an aquatic note, a coconut note, and a more pronounced vanilla note. It’s like Pink Sugar took a beach vacation! The best way I can describe it is cotton candy and saltwater taffy with a little vanilla, a touch of coconut, and some ocean breeze! I always tend to get great longevity with fragrances (even body mists!) and this is no exception... it lasts Al day on me! Typically people can smell this within an arm’s length of me.

I absolutely think this is one of the best spring/summer fragrances out there. It perfect for those who like vanilla scented fragrances. It is definitely gourmand but also has a clean scent profile which I was quite pleased about. It's not overbearing like some vanilla fragrances, and not overly sweet. The dry down gets a tiny bit warmer with the amber note slowly coming out. This is a scent perfect to wear to the beach, camping, a cafe, school, work and basically vacation. I would still recommend testing on your skin and letting it dry down before purchasing.

A very sugary start but still fresh and almost aquatic. No doubt about it that it’s sweet, too much for some. For me the fresh core, almost clean linen vibes, keeps in as a pleasant wearable fragrance. Kind of watery and a little bit plastic-y. Like a simple syrup poured onto a pool float. Reminds me of summer days by the pool, drinking sweet lemonade or cream soda or something. Pretty linear except that when dried down the musk that has been giving it the clean linen feel becomes more prominent. It becomes a smooth, musky vanilla that has remnants of fruit.

This perfume is bright and sweet and to me a little juicy. It reminds me of the cotton candy sweetness in pink sugar but without the powderiness and a pop of juicy fruit. Also for me it smells a bit like how strawberry nerds candy tastes. I got a lot of compliments wearing this. People told me I smelled delicious and I must agree! This has become one of my favorite scents. Its not overpoweringly strong. My only issue is that it does not last as long on my skin as I would like it to and ive had to reapply it at least once through the day.

usually i don’t like very sweet smells on me but i love love love this one. definitely true to its notes, to me it reads like cotton candy and waffle cone and some kind of a tiny fruity smell. i will say though once it’s had a few minutes, i feel like i smell like a waffle house bathroom. not in a negative way like there’s no fecal or urine smell to it but it kinda just smells like waffle and syrup and some kind of cleaner. super clean waffle house bathroom and like a ice cream shop at the beach. im wanting a big bottle asap

It’s as if Cap’n Crunch berries, lucky charm marshmallows and cotton candy all morphed into one and had a fun day on the boardwalk. So addictive, I fell in love with it the moment I smelled it. The aquatic note is definitely there and it helps make this very sweet fragrance more approachable. My only gripe I have is that I wished it lasted longer and projected more, but I just spray more, which I think I have a little too much fun doing... I’m definitely buying a back up, I never want to be without this fragrance!

This is such a fun girly perfume! This is what I imagine what Taylor Swift's Lover album cover to smell like lol. It smells exactly like walking on a boardwalk on a warm summer day and passing by a cotton candy stand. It's a unique and different take on your typical cotton candy perfume. There is a slight aquatic vibe to this as well. Very sweet and cozy, and reminiscent of the best parts of childhood. This also reminds me a lot of one of my favorite scents from bath and body works, pastel skies!

“Trix are for kids!” is what first came to mind. I’m so glad I have a sample of this! I’m loving it so far because it’s nostalgic to me. It instantly brought me back to my childhood. Freshly-made cotton candy that is not as sugary sweet as other gourmands. It leans slightly aquatic with fresh vanilla notes instead of a warm, dark vanilla. The dryer sheet comments make so much sense because it is slightly musky but fresh. It’s cute and girlish, not for the people that like more mysterious scents.

Such a fun and unique fragrance! It became an instant favorite of mine and is everything I look for in a perfume. You get the cotton candy, the vanilla, and the apple- but I believe it’s the addition of the coconut that makes it truly special and gives it those summertime fair/boardwalk vibes. I find that it lasts longer on my skin than on my clothes which is a little weird, usually it’s the other way around. I don’t mind reapplying it, though. It’s truly addictive.

This smells so yummy! Like photorealistic cotton candy and vanilla with a little coconut. Fortunately for me, the coconut isn't too overwhelming as someone who struggles with coconut notes. This honestly smells like something I would've expected from Ariana Grande lol. My only complaint is that there is basically no projection at all, I can only smell it if I press my nose to my skin. But aside from that, the smell is just so good so it might just be worth it!!

This perfume is so unique, i am not a gourmand lover by any means, but the aquatic notes make this sugary sweet perfume a favorite of mine! I can’t wear it by itself or it’s overpowering, but mixed with citrus perfumes, it adds a creaminess that cuts through the bright notes that can be a bit screachy. I also find this perfume to have a nostalgic quality, the cotton candy note reminds me of Avon kids bath paint soaps, if anyone remembers those!

This is my favorite perfume of all time. I'm already halfway through my second bottle. To me this smells like aquatic cotton candy, I can't think of any other way to describe it. It lasts around 5 hours on my skin and all day on clothes . I have a pretty big perfume and body mist collection and this isn't comparable to anything I have ever smelled. It's absolutely intoxicating!❤ If Skylar ever gets rid of this I will be crushed.

Cotton candy and a little soapy. As you wear it some of the caramel notes come out to play and I get gentle whiffs of it throughout my wear. Lasts well on clothing - great as a bedtime fragrance or throughout the day. Is very playful and youthful - I can't imagine an elderly woman liking this, unless she's a quirky gal, but I'm 40 and love it and though it's youthful it's fun and pleasant without being overwhelming or cloying.

Boardwalk Delight my beloved. This is the perfect summer gourmand in my opinion. Its sweet and fluffy and in my opinion not too cloying. It’s slightly juvenile but in a good way if that makes sense. Like it gives carefree vibes at a carnival in the summer. The coconut is watery and delicious and blends well with the floral notes. I have the travel size and I’ve been wanting a full bottle for like 2 years. 9.5/10

Delightfully and tantalizingly sweet. Literally smells like Summer vacation and a beach boardwalk in a bottle. I've received endless compliments on this. I definitely get where people get dryer sheet from, but personally, I don't mind it that much. It manages to be nostalgic and youthful without smelling childish or cheap. Would absolutely recommend if you're looking for something dreamy and sweet.

So, I got this perfume when it came out on Skylar's monthly subscription, then they released as part of their line . It has beautiful layers of aquatic/clean top notes, then settles down to a beautiful sugary, fluffy, and amber scent. The base is the most gorgeous cotton candy fragrance I own, and I won't be looking for another. This fragrance is different from any other, and I will repurchase!

Smells like sweet cotton candy and a summer breeze. The sweet raspberry, soft coconut milk, and light floral gives the impression of standing in a Baskin Robbins in the summer, picking our your favorite flavor. I can't stop sniffing my arm when I wear this. Lasts about 4-6 hours. I don't mind reapplying. It is a bit expensive considering it doesn't last all day, but it is also a clean brand.

I'm an adult woman who adores sweet perfumes, and Boardwalk Delight is just divine to me. It's definitely a playful scent, though it doesn't read to me as juvenile, but rather nostalgic. The cotton candy note is most prominent in this perfume, with added fruity and fresh accords that add just the right amount of complexity and depth. I think it's perfect the daytime of summer weekends!

This reminds me so much of Candy Baby by VS Beauty Rush (R.I.P) that photorealistic cotton candy. Boardwalk delight is a perfect name, it smells like when you’re at a fair and you’re walking by the funnel cake/cotton candy stands. I wish it were stronger but I guess maybe it’s a good thing it’s not because it probably would give others around you a sugar high if it were! I love!

I really like this. For me it's a sweet cotton candy but not dense at all. It’s airy and watery, almost like a fresh shampoo while still staying in the gourmand realm. Super easy to wear in hot weather. It stays on my skin for 3–4 hrs. I can't smell any coconut though, but there is this faint hint of apple in the dry down that keeps it feeling fresh, cooling almost.

I love this. Initially avoided trying because I didn't want that strong, sickly sweet (but accurate) candy floss scent that I smelled with Le Monde Gourmand's Sucre de Cotton. This is very soft. Not so much candy floss, more milk bottle lollies if you've ever eaten those. The longevity and sillage sucks but this is so lovely and lightly sweet that I don't mind.

i was really excited for this one and it was a total let down :/ the longevity is that of a body mist and has no sillage. i had my husband smell this one and he said “eh not impressed” lol. i’m grateful i got this on sale. i will come back to it in a few weeks to see if my opinion changes, maybe this performs good in hot weather, we’ll see ! overall 5/10

Boardwalk Delight is straight up cotton candy to my nose. Its the perfect fragrance for a sweet summer scent. It reminds me of being at the circus with the smell of cotton candy lingering in the air. This isn't a complex perfume, but it's great for a fun summer date or running errands, but probably not something you would wear to the office.
