It's a lighter version of By the Fireplace with a bit of Velvet Haze, a softer and fluffier interpretation, clearing the smoke. I smell cloves, but that isn't listed in the notes, probably to distance itself from By the Fireplace. I have some friends anosmic to Commodity Paper- (iso e super?) and those same friends can't smell this at all either. I really love this. I have BtF, but sometimes I don't want to smell like smoke, but I do want to smell like chestnut and cacao and spices. I just wish it was a tiny bit stronger and more long lasting!

Wow, this smells like a dry sauna made of rich wood. I absolutely love this because it's NOT sweet. It's very relaxing and definitely reminds me of a good trip to the spa in winter.

this never really pulls sweet on me. it smells like a very light combo of Nemat Vanilla Musk & Al Rehab Choco Musk when sniffing the bottle, but it loses anything sweet once it is applied to my skin. maybe the peppers, but it doesn’t really change over time besides fading away.

This is not sweet or gourmand fragrance at all--it doesn't claim to be, but the name might make you think it is and it's not. It's rather earthy and I definitely smell the cocoa, but it's a little less cozy than I was hoping for. I can appreciate that it's not sweet, but I think it would be improved if it were sweeter. I think it'd make it cozier and more wearable. I'll probably layer this with vanillas in my collection.
