Coral

I got the sample kit and liked Capri and Coral and bought the medium size. Most days I wear one of the two and sometimes layer them. Coral is a bright, fruity, citrus scent. I prefer something either fruity or citrus forward so this is for me :)

Starts fruity and fades into a musky / "skin" scent. I don't really notice patchouli or sandalwood.

I like Skylar's "Coral" but not enough to buy a full flanker. This type of scent has been done many times before, so there's nothing ground-breaking about it. I received it in the palette and liked Willow and Coral the most. With "Coral", I don't smell the apple blossom, patch, or sandalwood, which is too bad because I love apple and sandalwood notes. This is a bright, clean, happy, fresh scent that should be worn on just-showered, moisturized skin. Sillage is moderate but longevity is poor. It will be gone within an hour or two. You might be able to prolong its performance if you spritz your top but don't expect it to last all day without a re-spray. It's recommended to layer Isle and Coral given how fresh and clean they are, but I prefer to use them on their own. Layering them may prolong the performance. This is an inoffensive scent that would be ideal to wear to the office or around people who are sensitive to scents given how clean and fresh it smells. Given its poor performance, I don't see myself investing in a full flanker. But I think it's a safe blind buy that others will enjoy.

This is lemony/black currant. Nothing horrible but nothing interesting about it. This line has a very pre teen vibe and I should've known better then to buy the sample kit. I ended up gifting it to my baby sister (I could be her mom) and she loved the line. I found out which she liked and knew what to get her for her birthday so it wasn't a total waste.

I like Coral at first because it reminds me of the yellow gofresh shampoo and conditioner line that came out probably in 2009 or 2010 - I adored that line. It's fruity and clean, a shampooey scent that's a little different from other shampoo scents. But then within a few minutes it starts getting harsher, like that stuck in the back of your throat aerosol deodorant smell, and I stop liking it. It's okay from a distance, but I can still smell that harsh scratchy backdrop, and overall doesn't last very long.

I wish I got more than the fruity black currant and lemon, but that's it for me. I love patchouli, sandalwood, and apple blossoms, but that simply doesn't exist for me in this perfume. Not being a fruit fragrances person, I think I'll pass.

This was my least favorite, along with Capri, which came in a 6-pc.-sample set. A little basic, a little screechy, and disappears in a flash.

Peach is what I get with this one. Not really a fan...

Meh. Smells like the new style laundry detergents

I received a sample of this along with five or six others. Since I've tried them I definitely feel like it was a waste of money but I ordered it in the middle of covid while I was very bored. As for 'Coral,' I wholeheartedly agree with those who made the comparison to CK1 - this is pretty much a dupe of that except with no projection or staying power. I ended up unloading the entire sample sprayer onto myself because I couldn't smell it. An hour or so later it was nearly undetectable and I only caught a fleeting whiff. Based on what I've smelled so far from the sample pack I got, I would say that this house (if you can even call it that), is actually having a negative impact on the art of perfumery as there's no art happening here. Agree that these scents are best-suited to young teens and even they will likely be frustrated with such sub-par performance.

This is NOT natural. Skylar advertises as such nearly everywhere, but they are in fact mostly synthetic, as they do admit if you do a deep dive of their website. They just use the word "natural" as often as they can, and advertise on Google if you search "natural perfume", which is how I ended up ordering until I discovered the reality of the situation. (So technically they aren't falsely advertising, but they're right up against the line.) This perfume smells something like CK One mixed with laundry sheets. Nothing particularly original or interesting.

This smells very on par with another fragrance (I can’t quite put my finger on it) that was popular in US department stores in the 2000s. Maybe Ralph Lauren or Calvin Klein? Something in that realm. Fruity, sour aquatic, generic, unisex leaning young girly. Not for me

A really generic, fruity-floral. Something along the lines of CK. Nice but nothing amazing.
