Gilded Woods

I personally think this is the perfect perfume for the beginning of fall. It’s woody and cozy, but the sweet notes give it a little bit of a warm sunny feeling. Clearwood is definitely the most prominent note here, as common as it is in Skylar perfumes, the red apple and honey notes nicely balance it out. I wish it stayed on more than 4 hours but it projects well while it lasts, I can smell it all around me in the air and it makes me feel comfy, clean, and nostalgic. I hope they make this into a full size.

This perfume is the one I was wearing the night I got engaged and so I may have a sliiiiight bias but this perfume smells so lovely. It opens sweet and sexy and settles to a sweet woody scent. It smells like a magical fairy princess in the deep forest. It is so unique, blends into a truly special, sophisticated, romantic woody perfume on the sweet side. Longevity isn’t fantastic (pretty standard for Skylar in my experience) but I love it so much it doesn’t matter.

Well this isn’t anything close to what I pictured . It smells a lot like the skylar vanilla orchid , I get a light fruity almost melon nectar. But definitely no smoky leather or even woody at all . It’s sweet , would be a great spring time and summer perfume . Not my fave though. I wanted something woody with sweet smoky leather or oud notes . This one , vanilla orchid, and now indigo moon all smell the same to me . I think there might be one more , I don’t understand why they all smell the same . It’s not a bad smell , smells similar to the memoirs archives “ wish you were here”

This is so unique! The apple note starts out strong: a tad cheap smelling, but still bright and fun. The honey sweetness creates a film on the woodiness, which gets stronger on the drydown. It smells like honey and sunshine and wood. However, something is just slightly off about it to me. This is perfect for a sunny fall day!

i was looking forward to this one! i thought i'd love it because i'm looking for a sweet & woody fragrance. i ended up hating it. this doesn't smell like my version of a woods fragrance. i don't know what this is? apples & a bit of honey is what i'm picking up. if this fragrance smells like clearwood, i don't like it so much.
