Matcha Zen

How are there no reviews on this yet?! I was honestly surprised by how much I liked Matcha Zen when I tried it for the first time. I didn’t know what to expect really but whatever it is I am here for it! It sits somewhere between fresh and cozy. The brown sugar and coconut add a warmth without reading strongly as one or the other while the green tea/vanilla combo sit on top as a fresh green tannic vanilla tea. It is unique and amazing!! I would really love if they made this a permanent part of their line because I would love a full size. I actually originally came here to see what the “reminds me of” perfumes were as I want more of this lovely scent that is LE but when I saw there was no review I had to add one. If anyone knows of similar scents - let me know :)

This is giving what Replica Matcha Meditation was supposed to give. It smells exactly like a matcha latte, it’s long lasting and performs well. I usually am not a fan of gourmand notes but the vanilla and brown sugar to green tea ratio is perfect here. On my quest for matcha perfumes, this was the first I found and pretty much every one after that didn’t live up to Matcha Zen. I was obsessed with layering this with Gilded Woods for a while and that’s how I got into Skylar’s fragrances. I hope they make this a full size some day.

This one is soo good, Skylar needs to bring it back! i loved the brown sugar matcha smell. not quite a true green matcha, but a sweet, boba tea shop smell. at the same time, it's intimate and not juvenile smelling. as far as I can tell, maison Margiela matcha meditation is the closest cousin out there. I just haven't gotten my hands on it yet because it's a little pricey for my taste.

This fragrance is very nice with mild projection and lasted 4 hours on skin. This is not a skin scent though as people will surely be able to smell it. Its quite pungent green like strong green grass and green leaves at start. As it drys down the brown sugar/vanilla come forth to soften it. This is unisex in my opinion like some of the Jo Malone scents and somehwat reminds me of Wood Sage and Sea Salt. The opening is a tad much IMO as you get nothing but strong green notes. I have a rollerball and I admit I like the scent but may not repurchase. It has given me a headache for some reason all 3 times i tried to wear.

I just got this and I think I might need to let it sit for a little while. This definitely has sandalwood in it. The opening reminds me of Santal 33 with the addition of green tea giving it a freshness. Once it dries down it gets much sweeter and the vanilla comes through and mixes with the green tea. I really like the dry down but the opening is a bit sharp for me. However, for a freshie this lasts a really long time (4-6 hours).

I bought this secondhand off mercari & I wonder if I got scammed because it just smells like flowers to me... I don’t smell any brown sugar, vanilla, or coconut... couldn’t even tell it was green tea... the way everyone describes it I feel like we can’t be smelling the same thing.

WE NEED AS A FULL SIZE. I am rationing my rollerball. Beautiful green scent with a underlying sweetness. The greenness is very prominent in the opening but the brown sugar takes over and makes it soooo well blended.

My favorite scent of all time. I wish skylar could bring this one back, it’s incredible. Every time I use it I get sad that I’m closer to never using it again!
