Night Boss

Very sad this one was a limited edition for Skylar’s monthly scent club sometime during the Fall of ‘25. I think it was the first month of Skylar’s new ownership, and I was worried the brand would lose it’s clean/cozy aesthetic and turn into another generic house of designer dupes and shamelessly gourmand body sprays made for TikTok. Well, here is my verdict: Night Boss is addictive and sexy! It’s warm and sweet but definitely not too heavy. It has moderate sillage that I don’t think anyone would find offensive. I hadn’t thought to compare it to Juicy Couture, of which I had a sample when I was nine years old or so, but I think I agree with that comparison. I’m guessing it is the pear and brown sugar combo. I love pear scents but I didn’t identify this frag as a “fruity-floral” until reading the notes. It is a warmer and somewhat longer lasting scent than Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia edp, which also has similar notes. I get nostalgia without childishness. I don’t feel like it’s what EVERYONE is wearing these days. I’m 27 and I love to reach for this one for a date or a night out, and I’ll be sad once my 10mL rollerball starts running out. Maybe we can convince Skylar to bring this one back!

Fragrantica reviews have become a comment section. I constantly see people leaving ‘reviews’ when they have not even smelled the perfume. Also, the person below me clearly mistook this perfume for Double Dates- I can’t find anything online for Leah Kateb being the perfumer for Night Boss. She is the new face of Skylar though.
