Pomegranate Princess

At first, I was a bit apprehensive because a lot of reviews said that the pomegranate note isn't prominent, but after testing it on myself for a full day, I would say that in the opening, there is definetly a tart and juicy pomegranate note. After a few minutes yoy start to smell the strawberry shortcake element that a lot of others have mentioned. The dry down is definitely a soft gourmand vanilla cupcake vibe for sure.

strawberry shortcake with some lemon zest on top. super feminine and girly. you definitely get the frosting and cake notes all throughout but it perfectly balanced with the fruits. you get more pure pomegranate when you smell the cap/sprayer than you do on skin. I really like it and think it's beautifully made, but gourmand cake-y perfumes aren't really my preference so idk how much I will use

i work at sephora so i smelled this early. guysssss. it is so good. if you like fruity sweet scents this is right up your alley. the notes i get the most are for sure the pomegranate, strawberry and cake. i don't get the rose at all (to the person below). definitely is SWEET but not cloying in my opinion because i normally hate scents like that. leahhhh do your thing

This is nostalgic for me! Smells like some Spanish candy I can’t quite remember. It’s nice. Not sure if I’ll get tired of it so I’ll buy a travel size first but I think it’s yummy ❤️ I like the lactonic twist. It reminds me of cheesecake and Strawberry Dream by EOS

Such a juicy summer perfume. This for me is super juicy pomegranate with the gourmands in the background to support it. I don’t get the strawberry as much but I love it that way. Even my mom who is very picky with fragrance likes the smell of this one on me.

I was so surprised by this one. Starts off juicy sweet pomegranate with a little bit of florals. Stays like that about for about a few hours, then turns in a soft strawberry shortcake. A yummy fragrance for the summer ☀️ It stands out, im in love !

Smells like Fruit snacks, jolly ranchers, sour warheads and or sour airheads extremes rainbow strips. It’s sour and sweet. Overall it’s giving CANDY! 🍬🍭 Also kinda reminds me of bbw strawberry pound cake however this one is way better.

The tartness of the pomegranate with the cream is absolutely amazing! Wasn't expecting this at all. You have to love sweet scents to love this.

Opening notes are straight candy! It's addicting and unique. I've never smelled anything quite like this. It teeters the line of being almost too sweet, but luckily it stays right at that peak, never fully crossing the line. The candy-like sweetness eventually dies down, and it being temporary makes the experience more enjoyable, honestly. The dry down is so delicious. You still get hints of those opening notes during the dry down, almost like a memory. So delectable all around. My bf said I smell like a dessert in the best way. Not so photo-realistic that you end up smelling like food. Just pure fragrance deliciousness!

Okay, so I did like this. It was fresher than I thought it was going to be. I was at Sephora, and I debated back and forth if I wanted to purchase this but it made me realize, are fragrances becoming oversaturated? I became overwhelmed - there was Guava Granita, Isla Sirena, Eden Plush Pear and Peach, Strawberry Jam, all the LoveShackFancy perfumes.... They all started to blend together. I do think we are having a sort of fragrance renaissance era like makeup did in 2016. I say all this to say, yes, this is nice, but so are all the others. And it just didn't stand out enough.

This is as if you took Strawberry Pound Cake from Bath and Body Works and layered it with Juice by Commodity. Started off strong with a very juicy, tart burst of pomegranate. Then it turned into an overly sweet and synthetic strawberry scent that I could've sworn I'd smelled before, like a scented marker or a cheap candle. Over time it gets less sweet and fruity, more vanilla and woody. I'm only disappointed that in a fragrance called Pomegranate Princess, it's way more strawberry and barely any pomegranate.

Very distinctly a pomegranate scent, with the tartness of the fruit balanced very well by the creamy sweet lactonic notes. Smells like pomegranate ice cream and interacts beautifully with the air, creating a lush scent bubble. I do not get sour from this at all, but I will say there is something about every Skylar scent I have tried that keeps me from getting a full bottle. To me this does not smell strawberry-focused at all. The juicy fruit note is clearly pomegranate.

i loved it when i first got it and don't get me wrong i still really enjoy it, but after wearing it pretty regularly for a while i'm kind of bored. it's an inoffensive but kinda flat fruity gourmand and it gets a bit cloying in hot weather which is frustrating because it's definitely meant to be a spring/summer scent. based on the notes and my general taste, i should love this, but i just wish it had more to it.

I completely agree with the comment saying it smells just like Strawberry Poundcake from Bath & Body Works. I do get a bit of pomegranate tartness in the opening, followed by the lightest whiff of lemon peel but it quickly dries down into Pound Cake. It's a nice, super sweet, fruity, feminine girly girl scent. I enjoy the way it smells but I was hoping for something a little more sophisticated and original.

Sharp fake synthetic strawberry and lemon, that dries to a creamy frosting with almost a sweet berry note. The dry down and mid are the best. Fluffy almost stays sweet. The opening is a bit ozonic and fresh and again synthetic, but most of Skylar's are - they all have this almost - cheap/bug spray vibe. Idk if it's that whole "clean" crap they claim to be, but if you know their scents, you know that smell. It's not horrible, but it's like... ohh this smells like chemicals LOL. I do like the random whiffs I get of the frosting and fruity berries. I only have the travel spray of this, so it likely would not go any larger, but it is nice...just not groundbreaking. 6/10

Not for me at all. Grossly sweet and cloying and nauseating with my body chemistry. Not even fruity- just “sweet” on me. Bleh!

I'm sorry. This is genuinely disgusting. I took one sniff and recoiled because it smelled like actual ass. Its weird lactonic over fruit, not a good combination. Spoiled milk. And quite strong. I love me some lactonic scents, strawberry pound cake, even ellis Brooklyn milk which people say smells like baby puke, but this is really bad

while I usually like a sweet fruity perfume, I tested on paper in Sephora twice and I wasn’t totally sold. Ended up getting a travel spray and wore it and wow. The dry down is amazing! it’s very juicy and slightly tart in the top notes, but the pomegranate and strawberry dry down to almost vanilla cake and sweet frosting. This is very reminiscent of sweet like candy 2.0 (LE) for me in the way it starts fruity then settles into creamy sweetness. I don’t think it’s juvenile but it has a youthful quality to it. It’s a fruity gourmand so inherently it’s not a sophisticated scent. I’m really enjoying this! And paired with true loves cake is *chefs kiss* Longevity: 5-6 hrs Projection: mid; I feel like after a few hours it’s a skin scent. I don’t mind to reapply but if you want people to smell you after a couple hours you’ll want to.

Tested this today. Will be going back tomorrow for the full size bottle. I was surprised I liked this so much, I have long past my gourmand era. I used to gravitate to more vanilla bakery gourmands. This is so different with the heavy fruits. This is the first time I have ever liked strawberry in a fragrance, usually it is a synthetic no. The pomegranate note is a bit more prominent than the strawberry, the rose is only barely noticeable if you are looking for it. I have never liked a Skylar fragrance and don't own one (until tomorrow). It is mildly sweet, I think the cake and pomegranate balance each other out. It lasted well on my skin, in the final dry down the pomegranate is gone, but very pleasant.

Man i don’t even know what the reviews saying it smells like strawberry are on about (coming from a strawberry vanilla perfume LOVER). It does a super good job distinguishing it from strawberry giving it that tart spritsiness pomegranates have. What wowed me even more is how it actually stayed throughout the performance without fading like others claimed. Dry down is a super yummy vanilla and I’m in love with this perfume. Though i chose 7 virtues strawberry jam over this one, ill definitely be back for this!

Pomegranate and cake. Very sweet, mostly linear. I don't get Strawberry Pound Cake (and I love that BBW scent!). I don't really detect the strawberry or the rose. At various points the pomegranate almost leans towards a raspberry note. I actually really like this! Moderate to low projection. Performance is not abysmal but not good enough for me to want to purchase. Might re-test at the store on fabric and see if my opinion changes.

This starts off as a delicious fruit snack scent. It smells like red berries and carnauba wax. Super fake, juicy, simple, fruity, youthful. I love it. The drydown is SO bizarre. It quite literally smells like flour. It's so powdery and the sweetness fades completely. I had a few people smell my clothes right where I sprayed it, and within 1 hour, it was gone.

Pomegranate princess sounded like it would be the rumman/anar scent of my dreams, but instead it’s much more strawberry forward. Like others have mentioned, strawberry shortcake... which is still pleasant if you remove the expectation of its name But ngl I thought Leah would’ve executed this better

Pomegranate is one of my favorite notes so I was sooo excited to try this out because I find it so hard to find a good pomegranate fragrance. I’m so disappointed i don’t get pomegranate at all 😭😭 All I smell is strawberry cream

I hate artificial berry/fruit scents and expected this to be either Yum bougie marshmallow or Burberry her, which i hate. It isn't. It's tart but soft and creamy. Right now it's my favorite fruity scent I've ever tried.

this is the best fruit gourmand ever made besides leisure in pradise by simone andreoli. only prob it lasts 15 min. its an overpriced body spray lol but my god its a 10/10 scent
