Willow Woods

I love it, but the notes make no sense. This is like sweet dew on cut grass, which I find much more delightful than the picture painted by the notes. It’s like a mix of Commodity Rain and Pierre Guillaume Jardins de Kerylos. If I had to make up a more fitting list of notes, I would say: pear, fig, melon, grass, lotus, freesia, and rain

Lots of interesting notes (more than what is shown) that sound like a fever dream, but somehow work together: balsam sap, salt, honeydew melons, fresh air, ice. Willow Woods manages to feel fresh and green, and somehow icy, all at the same time. A good winter/spring/fall wear. I don't get overt pine or balsam -- more of a sense of walking through a forest in the Pacific Northwest, dripping with icy sap, in which honeydew melons are also growing. LOL. It's sweet, but not gourmand -- maybe that's the balsam sappiness, which my nose reads as "non-edible sweet". This is an intimate skin scent -- almost no sillage -- and I find myself reapplying after a few hours. But I don't mind doing so, because it's such a nice atmospheric! It fits the aesthetic of a quiet, relaxing solo hike. This is not a fragrance that shouts. It whispers. Something you wear for yourself, because it feeds your soul.

Just received this and tested it today. Very green and forest-like, definitely unisex. Reminds me of something my dad used to wear that I found comforting as a child. If anything it is sweeter than I expected, and I'm not sure how I feel about that yet. Will have to continue wearing and testing. So far I like it.

Sweet on the top, definitely plant-y underneath. It’s nice, but just not for me.

I am so disappointed by this scent. I'm from the Pacific Northwest originally and love notes of fir, pine, and woody notes that remind me of it. Hence why I sampled this fragrance. Well, I got no pine or fir, at all. What I did get was a horrific melon note (not listed but it's definitely melon) that just did not mix with the tree sap scent of this. It stinks so badly. Usually Skylar scents don't last long but of course this one lasted forever on me. I truly hate this scent and now I'm wondering if I'll sample more from Skylar. I haven't had great luck thus far
