Authentic Maroussia

I have been given a bottle of green Maroussia 14 years ago by my now partner. We met in 1996, the year when this perfume was launched, so it has a great sentimental value to me. I am desperately looking for another bottle, but I can't find it anywhere. I understand that it has been discontinued, which is such a shame, as the fragrance is wonderfully fresh and so different from the other mainstream, Western European perfumes.

My big sister had a bottle of this years and years ago when we were teens and she gave it to me when she moved from home. I still have the bottle with last few drops left because I can't bear to finish it. This gem has been discontinued so long ago that any lone surviving bottle emerging on ebay has a terrible price tag and questionable quality. Very green, fresh and citrusy without being sharp or soapy.

it is a summer scent that I use to wear in winter. lovely for every occasion but very hard to get hold off. :/

Although it is a nice scent, it is not very original or unique. I would never spend 60 bucks on it, there are better ways to spend it.

I managed to find an almost full 100 ml bottle for €3, of course I had to have it when I saw it.

This is another one that I gave to my mom, together with jesus del pozo "essencia de duende", that still full on the bathroom shelf. I dont like this one a bit but I thought my mom would because its really green, it smells like a forest in winter to me, it reminds me the nights of camping with the scouts. On the bottle it smells really nice, but on my skin its just to dry. At the time I didnt noticed the resemblances with Essencia de Duende, but I find them really similar :( Another one for swaping when I go back home.

If I loved wearing Maroussia, this one not so much! Don't get me wrong, I totaly agree with fotolux (very similar to CK one), is a wearable, lighter and fresher version of Maroussia but it loses in originality and in character. Maroussia is such a unique scent and this one is what it is, a lighter airy flanker that does not have the aura that the original has. Still, a pretty scent!

It`s a lighter and more wearable version of Maroussia. I think so. Someone find it quite similar to CK One. It`s really a delicate mix of First Premier Bouquet and Tendre Poison on my mind. It`s mild and comfortable scent for summer evening.
