Crumb Couture Almond

Wow, I didn't even think twice before preordering this as an unwavering stan of the original Crumb Couture. After a delayed delivery debacle, I managed to spend a full day wearing the Almond sample on my left arm and the OG CC on my right to compare and contrast. I did this because I almost couldn't perceive the difference on the blotter - they both came across as buttery indulgence. However, on my skin, this flanker is absolutely a marzipan lover's delight; where I get straight up bready, buttery pastry from the original, I get luscious almondy coils emanating straight out of a Parisian bakery. I have not been happier to scrap some packaging and place this fragrance on my shelf beside its older, somehow less gourmand than before, sibling.

the undefeated champ of perfume houses reigns supreme yet again. nobody and i mean nobody compares to Snif when it comes to gourmands. if i don’t smell EXACTLY like an almond croissant- I DONT WANT IT! my favorite coffee shop in the entire world sells an almond bear claw that i dream about often. safe to say i will be supplementing that joy in life with another. made for sweet tooth fanatics and hopecore maxers. don’t expect a subtle powdery fragrance with a hint of sweetness. she’s the real deal and if u can’t handle her u don’t deserve her 10/10 🥐🌰🍦🧈

This is the almond scent of my dreams. Creamy marzipan and buttery pastry. Be aware, it is VERY gourmand. You will smell like an actual almond croissant. I’m absolutely going to overspray this because it’s so yummy! Longevity could be better, silliage is decent, price was good. The packaging is great. Modern and compact and the way the cap clicks on is so satisfying. I can’t stop smelling my wrists!

I am a big fan of Snif Crumb Couture and was so excited to see Crumb Couture Almond being offered. I do wish it had more longevity though, as I find it only lasts around 1-2 hours on me at the most. If you like intimate gourmands that are not too sweet with the right touch of musk, you will enjoy this scent. Just be aware you may have to apply it several times a day to keep the scent going.

I absolutely love the scent of this. It’s def a photorealistic almond croissant, very cozy and sweet. The berry note in the regular crumb couture is replaced with almond in the version. However, sillage and longevity really sucks. It lasts about 2 hours on my skin and 6 on my clothing, and can only be smelled on me very up close.

my friend randomly had this on her when I asked if she had perfume, and it truly unlocked something feral inside me. this is the best thing I have ever smelled in my life. I want to live, eat, breathe, this scent for the rest of my days. It's sultry, sweet, creamy, and it makes me lose my entire mind every time I smell it.

this was an instant love for me. obviously gourmand without being overwhelming and heavy. i have smelled so many perfumes with an almond note and this does it flawlessly. sweet powdered sugar marzipan balanced with savory salty butter. makes me think of coffee dates, earmuffs and mittens, and window shopping.

The dry down is lovely, soft, powdery sweet, musky, and slightly buttery. I wouldn't call it photorealistic almond croissant, but a lovely, wearable "if a croissant was a perfume" interpretation. I'd love a slightly more buttery and almondy smell, and a little less wood and musk, but it's well balanced.

the almond note is lovely for the approximately 5.2 seconds it's present in this concoction but otherwise this is just TOO similar to the original crumb couture to me. do i prefer it? absolutely! but these are twins not sisters. so it's difficult to justify purchasing this one. maybe down the line

Delicious photorealistic croissant. The almond cream part isn't as realistic as the croissant scent itself but it's still reallyyy close. It's a cherry almond too. I sampled this and knew I was going to like it but was hoping I didn't because it's a little hard to get snif in my country :(

Mine was just delivered today and dare I say it's even better than the original. The almond reminds me of desserts my nana would make. This is exactly how I envision a beautiful older woman who lives in a fairy tale cottage and sings to animals would smell like. I love it!

I didn't care for the original crumb couture because of the berry note, but I am so happy with this one. This is a pure almond, vanilla croissant but that musky snif dna at the drydown helps balance it out so it's not too sweet. This is one of my favorites!

A very realistic almond pastry scent, opening with a slightly bitter almond and fading into a beautiful buttery layers of a croissant. I enjoy this a lot more than the original, but I wish the performance was stronger.

AT LONG LAST! My beloved crumb couture’s younger sister has arrived in my hands! Angelic almond graced with the doughy croissant dry down that I know in love. May the heavens sing its praises!

This is really good, smells just like an almond pastry. Not so decadent that it’s unwearable though. If you loved the original, you’ll love this one too. Maybe even more.

I don't like the original crumb couture however I love this. Very realistic almond paste croissant, however the longevity is horrible and I cant justify a full bottle

this is the most insane thing i have ever smelled. i can literally smell flakey, golden, buttery croissant with glazed almond slices on top

i prefer this version of crumb croissant milesssss more than the original. the original perfume smells so sour, which i attribute to the berry note. The almond is a far better note to pair with croissant accord. im happy now.

Opens as a super sugary marzipan, which I love. As it dries down, the almond fades and it starts to develop a bit of Angels' Share DNA (less the cinnamon) from the smooth sandalwood. I wish the photorealistic almond stayed consistent throughout the wear, but the dry down's a little perfumey for me.

searching for my perfect almond scent that does not lean cherry, or almond liqueur....was hoping this would be it! but just like the OG crumb couture, to me, this is giving synthetic candle on my skin. at first spray on a test strip i got that creamy nutty almond pastry scent. but in only a few minutes it was giving sweet synthetic candle. so sad! but i would say if you liked the OG then you will probably like this. to me it's the exact same DNA without the fruity jam note.

this smells like diacetyl ridden vape juice. this fragrance will give you popcorn lung.

even better than the original for me, and i adore the original. with the og i found myself wishing the yeast/butter accords were more dominant over the fruit jam notes, and i've found that this achieves that marvelously. the marzipany almond is delicate--taking a backseat & allowing the realistic pastry experience to really shine in the forefront. it's also a more lightly-sugared, sliced almond (the kind you'd find on top of pastry) rather than a heavy syrupy almond extract scent-- which really impressed me as that is something i have yet to experience in a perfume with an almond note, and which makes it so much more wearable/less cloying. a very fun perfume, to me it evokes a day exploring a cute town in cold weather, shopping in local boutiques and thrift stores and stopping for pastries and coffee in a little cafe. you are wearing a stylish peacoat and your boots/all your shopping bags are crowded around the legs of the cafe table you're sitting out, and you're really tired from walking around all day, but you know your little treat is going to revive you.

NOT as savory as I anticipated :( Its a sweet frangipane. Croissant filled with custard and slivered almonds sprinkled on top. Its very sweet, rich and gooey, lots of that sour almond and tonka on initial spray, very vanilla heavy, and settles to a powdered vanilla pastry. Was hoping for a warmer and more intimate bread-like smell, like a fresh baked loaf. I don't mind this but its not what i was expecting. I think I prefer the original rendition of this, but it is a very delicious and edible gourmand. Smells a little like christmas pastry, i think its the sour tonka and almond that is responsible.

I ADORE almond. To me this smells exactly like crumb couture with one tiny note different (minus the berry, add almond) but it is very faint almond, so imo if you have crumb couture you do not need this also. I truly did not notice a difference at all when I sprayed it - i thought it was actually crumb couture, i had to recheck the box. I want to be smothered by marzipan/almond notes but this is just...crumb couture dusted with a tiny almond note in there. It is not forward almond at all to me, sadly.

It's a slap in the face to every profile, searcher, and fragrance creator, that you would soil our feedback/scores/reviews with your FAKE NEWS! People that vote on a fragrance that hasn’t been released yet, without EVEN SMELLING IT FIRST, disrespect the entire Fragrantica community and are both ignorant and repugnant!

At uni, I used to buy almond croissants at the coffee shop where I studied weekly, and Crumb Couture Almond smells *exactly* like that. I'm not sure I need a full bottle of this because I don't necessarily want to smell like a pastry- even though it's well done here and not too foodie gourmand- and I find that the glazed almond scent doesn't last long enough for me :(

Mehhh. They are right. If you have the original, this is unnecessary. Unfortunately I had to get it cause I love the original and I just have to smell all the things. I prefer the original still. They are slightly different, it kind of sucks because they are so similar but different enough in the drydown. This version feels more bread-y.

I blind bought a full bottle with 50% off in points. I have 10ml of Crumb Couture and love it- except it lasts about 15 minutes. And so does this. Damn! I love this! I love the realistic almond croissant, but in 30 minutes- it's all gone. Today is a little better bc I sprayed the scarf around my neck.

I'm not the biggest fan of the original Crumb Couture (all I get from it is a generic berry sweetness), but this flanker is heavenly. I pick up on the croissant note but the scent isn't too savory or yeasty. This might be tied with Naughty Nonna for my favorite Snif scent

@vivaLVmarie, Yeah, that's the point, influencers lie, which is why Fragrantians should be responsible reviewers, to protect the integrity of this platform! It's sad and sick that lies are now considered normal
