Crumb Couture

this perfume is so yum. i think snif did their big one with crumb couture and it is their best scent released so far. i, unlike many others, do pick up on the croissant smell off the first spray. it smells very buttery and pastry like in my opinion. i find myself smelling the black currant next. as it dries down, the croissant smell defiantly lessens but i find myself still smelling it until the scent fades completely. i smell the vanilla, tonka bean, black currant and rose jam as it continues to dry, with an emphasis on the rose jam. it smells so edible but interestingly enough, don't find it to be terribly sweet...but sweet of course, don't get me wrong. i've been wearing this for about a year now and its an amazing fall scent. i also don't understand people saying it doesn't last long. it will stay on my skin off 1 spray around maybe 2.5 hours and 2-3 sprays can last me all day. and on my clothes? oh believe we are smelling it until its washed. i get whiffs of myself ALL DAY. im serious!!! one of my fav uni scents as a student. not a basic sweet/gourmand perfume, she does stand out! she has personality! everyone is different and experiences will vary, but to me, this is a scent is a great investment if you are a gourmand fan. i think it can be a safe blind buy IF your skin can handle buttery/pastry notes and jammy/fruity notes. i know of some people say the dry down of these notes is not pleasant. but a great, inexpensive, fun, statement scent. worth a try for sure!

After hearing one of my fave fragrance influencers rave about this, I found a cheap 1/2 used 10 mL of this in a bundle and figured why not. I was nervous...I wasn’t sure what to expect, but surely wasn’t expecting THIS. I have always thought I didn’t like rose, and tended to avoid it all together; I was also afraid of the bready note. Basically , I wasn’t up for smelling like yeast or like I spilled a beer on myself. this fragrance is STUNNING and oddly nostalgic to me- it smells like walking into the mall near where I grew up. it smells like walking past Mrs. Fields and Cinnabon, headed directly for Abercrombie. it’s foodie and edible with a wearable, unisex-leaning depth that reminds you it is a fragrance without being cloying. I get the rose a bit but it is jammy and in the background for me. I get a flash of berries if I think about it in the beginning, then they are gone and it is temporarily, admittedly, very yeasty. however, the beautiful dry down is definitely worth it and I find myself reaching for this, mostly using before bed. I could see myself wearing this during the day during the colder months for sure. :)

Fascinating. Absolutely fascinating. This is fairly accurate to the idea I had in my head about how this could smell. It's more jammy than I anticipated, less salty/savory, but certainly croissant in all truth. In the opening I couldn't smell the bready-ness of the croissant, but merely jam alongside a vanillic sweetness. The jam is a strawberry or raspberry type of affair, and adds dimension to this. I'm glad it's there actually. As it dies and fruits settle down, the bakery notes emerges and peeks through the sweet vanilla. Yes...it IS flakey, buttery, delicious smelling croissant. Hot Cakes was legitimately pancake-y, and this is authentically croissant-y. I think when Snif sets out to be accurate to gourmonds, they pull it off. It's believable perfumery, and I applaud this. Also, I'd probably sooner wear this than Hot Cakes, this is airy, and has a slight perfumey background. It's buttered croissants with jam and powdered sugar with vanilla flavoring; but altogether pretty. Very enjoyable.

This makes my eyes roll up into the back of my head. One of my favorite gourmand perfumes. Photorealistic jammy croissants. It’s also a cozy scent to me, and I’ve worn it to bed. The lasting power is poor from my sample, so I also purchased the DUA dupe, which the reviews said has way more longevity. Edit: The DUA dupe is fabulous, spot on, and has the longevity I was looking for from Snif. I’m testing them side by side. The DUA brand has more croissant than Snif, and this addition smells better to my nose. The Crumb Couture is fading very fast on skin, within fifteen minutes. The DUA brand is going strong as if I had just sprayed it. The jam in both are very similar, very, but not exact. I kind of am coming to the conclusion that the DUA brand improved on Crumb Couture to be honest. I’m personally surprised, but on skin.. it is what it is. Grab the DUA one!

I received this as a gift for my birthday after spraying it on myself for months every time I'd visit an ulta. I love this so much. It's yeasty and bready, but not too warm. I can't stand a brown sugar note or overbearing warmth, and this does not have that - it's just sweet bread, maybe some butter. I love how odd it is, honestly. It brings me so much comfort to wear. On my skin I really do not get any of the jammy notes, it's just bread - croissant-like, if you will. This will be my go-to for all of fall. I will say, this snif fragrance does not have as much projection as the others; every time i've worn "me" everyone can smell me, it lingers really well, where as this one is much closer to the skin (which honestly, I love - because yes I do want someone to hug me and go wow, she smells like bread).

I went into my Crumb Couture experience with just a slight bit of hesitancy. I was worried that it might be an overly-buttery scenario. Like a fresh-baked biscuit sort of deal, but nauseatingly chemical. Instead, I was delighted to discover that this is one of the tastiest perfumes I’ve ever come across. I’m not usually a blackcurrant fan either, but the combination of that plus the rose jam on top of the vanilla and the flaky-light croissant notes had me smiling every time I caught a whiff. This might, in fact, end up being a new favorite. God knows I love a gourmand, and a scent experience that tells a good story. I didn’t expect this to be such a winner out of the Secret Menu sample set, but it’s possible I might wind up with a full bottle of this on my hands.

I got the full bottle on a blind buy and I do not regret it because this might be my new signature scent. It starts off with a strong fruity and jammy note. It honestly smells like a blueberry poptart at first with hints of rose. On the dry down it then smells more like an actual croissant, its very buttery. The sillage is decent but I feel this would actually be much stronger in a warm environment. Because of this I wouldn't consider it to be the best fragrance for winter but I am so obsessed with this I would wear it all the time lol. This is perfect for gourmand lovers because it genuinely makes you smell like a berry pastry. I also wouldn't consider this only for women because it isn't cloyingly sweet, it genuinely is pretty unisex.

On my skin, it's a blend of photorealistic croissant for a good hour, with some lovely fruitier, jammy notes. The tonka bean reads far less like a base note and more like a pervasive note on my skin - I get tonka pretty immediately, and I think that's what some people might be picking up on when the fragrance disrupts the illusion of smelling like a bakery. I feel like this would layer wonderfully with a coffee-forward fragrance (something that, in my experience, also works with tonka). I'm glad I picked it up, and I'm even happier I picked it up in the laundry detergent formulation, because my sheets are about to smell divine.

I am extremely pleasantly surprised by this perfume. The opening really does smell like a buttery croissant with berry jam to me. It borders on photorealistic for a moment, but it dries down a bit more subdued. It’s a very light and airy scent to me, if I spray it I’ll catch little whiffs throughout the day rather than feeling like I’m being oppressed by it. It is also very nostalgic and pleasant. The nostalgia does border on juvenile though, but it’s more childlike whimsy as opposed to “kid just discovered Japanese Cherry Blossom body spray”. I really, really like it, it just makes me happy when I smell it.

While I think the overall quality of this is just above a B&BW spray, I love it. It makes me happy when I smell it. I am not transported to a Parisian bakery, but I don’t care. I wear it with the solid body butter or Fenty’s vanilla Butta Drop - that’s the combo I used the other day and morning after, I could still faintly smell it on my wrists and it was noticeable in the clothing I had worn. Two friends told me I smelled delicious so I bought one the perfume and the other the candle. (The candle is much nicer than Overrose’s croissant, which I think smells like movie theater popcorn.)

This is a delicious smelling perfume. It absolutely smells just like a freshly baked croissant. The yeast, pastry, buttery flakes and vanilla are so evident upon first spray, absolutely mouthwatering goodness. Then a bit of blackberry jam pulls through just a tad and enhances the interest even more, a very soft spoken jam however. It’s all around strong, full & heavy so I feel like it would work best at night in a cold season. Though I could see people wearing this year round with a light spritz on the wrist. You will smell delicious just like waking into a pastry shop. Love it.

Normally I would say a scent like this is pretty candle adjacent but there's enough complexity that I think makes it more wearable. I love gourmands and this is a not too sweet fragrance that evokes an array of pastries. I smell hot dough, berry jam, butter, and rose tea. Crumb couture is a mouthwatering food scent. I want to eat it. I am also going to say the reviews for this do vary, and it seems to pull more sweet or synthetic on some people. I also don't get any cinnamon, which a few people mention. It also lasted all day on me, where many people say it has poor longevity.

This smells incredible; photorealistic buttery bread with berry jam. I could eat my arm off, it smells so good. It sits close to the skin, which in this case I prefer because I could see others finding it odd as a perfume -- so I can enjoy it throughout the day without bothering those around me. It's one of the few gourmands I enjoy even in the summer. Many say it doesn't last long... I find when sprayed on clothing, it'll last up to 5-6 hrs, and is affordable enough to reapply throughout the day if necessary. I will be repurchasing this scent again & again.

Ooooooh Nelly I like this!!! I’m surprised there isn’t some kind of spice like cinnamon listed, I get something hidden underneath the sweet tonka and vanilla that’s a little kick of something spicy? But it’s really subtle. Wow. I can’t stop sniffing my arm. I’ve been super into gourmands lately and this is absolutely the way to smell like a snack. It’s buttery and sweet but not sickening. Very comforting, warm and deceptively sophisticated for something so simple and sweet. So glad I got a full size bottle! Might get another honestly just in case.

I have worn this several times now and what a previous reviewer wrote is correct. It can smell differently each time. IME, it depends on the temperature. Mostly, it smells exactly like a croissant with jam. In warm weather you can really smell the sandalwood and vanilla. For me, the smell got to be too cloying to wear in the upper 80's. But that's just me. Overall, I love this scent and can't wait to wear it in cooler weather. Edit: The strawberry is not a fake, plastic, synthetic scent. This is mostly photorealistic jam scent.

I adore this scent, it’s buttery and flaky with a sweet berry jam twist. Although this is a true heavy gourmand scent it does have a refined aspect to it that reads more perfume(y) not completely on the nose. I agree this has terrible longevity I so badly wish they would reformulate or come up with an “intense” version because this perfume is perfect otherwise. I have found a perfume oil that layers nicely with this to help longevity. Lunar Life Apothecary’s perfume oil in “Croissant Et un Bisou” has a similar scent profile!

don't let the first sniff scare you. when i first spray this it literally smells SOUR like raw bread dough, BUT after a minute it starts to settle down into a sweet and slightly tart fruitiness with something that's kinda buttery. i don't get much croissant out of this but it's still an easy reach on days where i don't want something too overwhelming. only cons would be the suck ass longevity since this only lasts around an hour on my skin and i have to constantly touch up if i wanna smell like this through out the day

I’ve had this on for about five hours after blind buying and oh my. I love it. It’s as gourmand as it gets - buttery, bread yeast, blueberry jam. Opens with a realistic pastry element that lasts for a few hours with sweet blueberry jam dancing in and out. Longevity is pretty good and sillage is a couple feet with even just one spray. It’s so, so good. If someone wore this on a first date and then you never saw them again, you would spend your whole life thinking about how unique and delicious they smelled.

I loved this at first, it was a warm flaky croissant with a touch of jam, vanilla and sandalwood to balance out the sweetness. But the more I sprayed it I noticed an almond/cherry note (which I personally do not like at all), so I pulled out my bottle of lost cherry and yep, they had that same pungent cherry note—crumb couture was just a bit milder and mixed with yummy vanilla sandalwood. If it didn’t have this note I would absolutely buy a full size but unfortunately all I can smell is lost cherry now :(

to me this is more blueberry than croissant, almost like blueberry pancakes. the dry down for me is similar to a bakery or breakfast diner, where you can smell fresh baked pastries or bread. I absolutely love this perfume I just wish it lasted longer than 20 minutes, and the fruity note lasted longer than 12 seconds-- which is expected for a cheaper fragrance but even for the price point it is at it underperforms greatly. if anyone knows any perfumes that are similar but last longer, I'd love to know.

The butter comes out in this well, imagine melting butter on the stove in the first stages of browning before it turns nutty. It smells like a piece of buttered toast with jam on it that you've let get cold. I worry that on dry down it has an almost urine like smell on me but after I let it sit for 10-15 minutes it goes away. I bought the 10 ML, so I'm not sure how I'll feel about it. It gives candle in the opening, but as it settles it makes you smell literally edible.

I have a huge dent in this. It's my favorite to wear around the house and to bed as it's still summer and I think this would be a little cloying in the heat. It's like falling asleep on a sweet wonderland cloud with the delicious and cozy burst of berry pastry. If you're a gourmand lover this is a hit. Wish it stayed on forever but about 3-4 hours on my skin even longer on clothes... Accidentally got some on my dog and he smelled like a croissant for 3 days.

this owns. which is truly a surprise given how badly my other snif samples disappointed me! but where the other samples all smelled cheap, synthetic, and generic, crumb couture lives up to its marketing; it really does remind me of a buttery flaky croissant with a heady berry-rose jam note. i keep sniffing the air to get a better lungful of it. the performance is much better than my other snif samples as well. considering splurging on a full bottle of this.

I like this a lot. I have been wearing it everyday this January. There is an addictive quality to the buttery concoction. At first spray I did not find it appealing but now I can’t help but keep reaching for it over and over. I see it as a warm gourmand with a heavy woody undercurrent. It creates a nice scent cloud around me that never fades. I’m vaguely catching a whiff of crispy hot buttered croissants with jam all day. (And the bottle is gorgeous. Blue!)

I love this gourmand! I mostly get slightly sweet bread and berries, with a bit of soft, musky, sandalwood. I was concerned this would be overly synthetic/aroma-chemically, but to my surprise, it was not! I can't stand things like ambroxan or iso e super, and if there's any in here, I didn't get it. On me, this sits close to the skin and has mediocre staying power, but I enjoy it so much that I don't mind reapplying. I'm curious to try more from this house.

This is a cinnamon-sugar-crusted croissant with raspberry-rose jam (the good kind, tangy, not too rosy). I blind-bought this and while I like it, I'm not sure when I'll wear it... it's a little too thick for summer weather but a little too silly for work. Perfect date night smell though! Too bad I'm single lol ETA: I’ve been wearing this nonstop and will definitely need to buy another. For bedtime, coffee dates, lounging... I’m obsessed.

Whenever I spray this I want to eat my arm off, it smells that good. Straight up buttery croissant and rosy berry jam. It's a little bizarre as a perfume because of how photorealistic it is, but I absolutely love it and wear it often. It sits very close to the skin and doesn't last long.... Reapplication every couple hours is needed. But I think it's totally worth it, the sweet yeast note is beyond incredible.

I LOVE IT SO BADDDD, one of my favorite scents. I take a lot reviews that deem scents photorealistic with a grain of salt a majority of the time, but this genuinely does smell like a croissant. It is sooo sweet and buttery! I personally don't get any of the jammy notes, but I'm okay with that. I don't feel like it's too yeasty, either. It smells, to me, more like a freshly baked croissant out of the oven!

Not quite as “bakery” as the candle, but still gorgeous. I get a strong almost spicy sandalwood and vanilla with the jammy floral blackcurrant weaving through the fragrance. I do smell the “croissant” for the entire longevity, but as previously mentioned, the yeasty bready buttery scent is not as strong as in the candle. The dry down really reminds me of Angel’s Share by Kilian.

I look like a weirdo that I can’t stop smelling myself. There is a scene in Inglorious Bastards that they are in a French cafe with croissants and a creme. A little tray for berry compote next to it. That’s what I imagine this whole scene smelled like. It’s warm, bakery sweet, crystal sugar, buttery, with a slight berry on the dry down. I’m a walking snack and I love it.

to me its a dark berry jam croissant and in the deep dry down some rose. but it stays bready the whole way through i cant smell anything after an hr, no matter how light i spray. I think im anosmic to synthetic sandalwood. But my shirt smells of it till its time to do laundry it might be worth revisiting soon bc its rare that a literal gourmand doesnt make me sick

holly frickin hairball, this fragrance is so delightful i wanted to literally eat it. initial spray it smells very much like a warm croissant with very faint blueberry but the dry down becomes this warm gooey blueberry. i fell asleep with it on and will definitely need to get a full size. might become my fall fragrance!

I. LOVE. This. When I heard this was a photorealistic buttery croissant, I was so excited. I don’t get too much blueberry, more buttery croissant. I enjoy layering this with blueberry Bundt cake and brioche by lattafa. The bottle is also very nice. I spray this on my clothes and get whiffs throughout the rest of my day

I lucked out and found this at Ulta recently and I've been dying to try it. After letting it settle for a bit I knew I needed it. Maybe I just love a foody smell but this is pretty delicious! I love the jam notes and tonka bean, I do wish it lasted a bit longer though. I'd hate to burn through the bottle so quickly.

i want to eat this.. buttery, spiced, fruity, honey-sweet. very much reminds me of honey butter and berry jam. this frag is delicious and fun! crumb couture and honey suite share the same DNA, imo. love this one from snif. i am however saddened by the longevity.. i would give anything for this to be beast mode.

Out of the 200+ fragrances I have, this is one of the top five. Incredibly photorealistic croissant with fresh strawberry jam. Beautiful, flaky, I just want to lick my arm. This is an instant mood lifter, and I often put it on when I’m sad to cheer myself up. If you want to smell good enough to eat, GET THIS!!

I picked this up at Ulta on a whim. Although short lived, the scent is absolutely amazing. It smells like walking into a bakery with a hint of berries in the background. Sweet and buttery without being overly sugary, and it dries down quickly into a more prominent vanilla. Despite the longevity, I love this.

I’m back to write another love letter to this masterpiece. Oh crumb couture, you are my favorite scent of all time. Whenever I’m sad, your bready charms are there to lift me up. Whenever I need I good bade for a citrus or sweet scent, you are there to make it a spellbinding gourmand. I love you so much.

This a yummy fun warm scent. I get the berry pastry note for a few mins but this settles to a warm berry jam scent. If you like BBW Raseberry Jam donut mist or Blueberry Sugared Pancakes mist , you will love this to layer with those. Also for a summer twist layer this with Bbw Berry waffle cone mist.

such a beautiful scent. photorealistic croissant with cream and berries. reminds me of my trip to paris where i had the most wonderful croissant and fruit at a local bakery. super rich and buttery. the creaminess and sweetness really balance out the rich, slightly salty, buttery scent.

Every gourmand lover NEEDS to try this. It is a buttery yeasty fresh baked croissant with jam. Its almost got a salty butter feel and is a very realistic gourmand. I want this so bad but they don’t sell it anywhere even close to me so I may have to order online. Amazing.

A warm, buttery, jammy croissant gourmand! I have gotten a few compliments on this one while at work, so I believe the sillage is there. This scent just makes me feel warm and cozy, like I need to snuggle up with a hot coffee and a good book under a blanket.

Maybe I’m just a weirdo, actually, I know I am. But I love this! There’s this pastry sweetness to it. I don’t get as much of the jam as I’d like. But, I do get pastry and butter, and I love it. I bought the detergent so my sheets are equally as delectable

this honestly feels like a good gourmand for the warmer months. It's airy and clean but warm and yummy, Heavy on the vanilla and the black currant which reads like blueberries to me (and others), and all around just pleasant to wear. I love her!!!

I can’t stop thinking about this fragrance since trying it at ulta. It smells just like the inside of a mom-and-pop bakery, where freshly baked bread, cookies, donuts, and pastries are being put out on display. This is definitely on my wishlist

Although you do smell notes of Croissant, don’t think this is some overhyped gimmicky perfume that’s maybe best for young people. Crumb Couture smells beautiful, it’s just a wonderful fragrance that everyone could wear at any occasion .

This is a LOVE. I totally get the bready/bakery scent. The opening has the jamminess, but that fades and it's a sweet bread baking kind of smell. I think it has decent lasting power, but that might not be on everyone.

It smells so good on me- yes, I get whiffs of flaky pastry and jam but it also smells absolutely beautiful. I was very surprised by Crumb Couture,, I did not expect to love it, but I totally do!

the flakiness of the croissant tragically dissipates upon spraying and leaves me with a jammy, thumbprint cookie note. it personally evokes images of americana. like, hungover at a dennys.

Crumb Couture is a gourmand delight! A berry stuffed pastry drizzled with vanilla icing. I can smell the buttery dough. If you want to smell like a sweet dessert, give this a try!
