Extra Whip

Snif is one of my favorite beauty brands. Extra whip is one of my absolute favorites... great scent and affordable I first started with their fragrances ( perfumes) then candles, lotions , and body mists. The body mists are a great everyday item because they are light in scent, last all day, and are affordable. I have tried the berry and hazelnut mists, spray tan mist, and my absolute favorite: extra whip body mist, a whipped cream scented mist. The notes are: icing sugar , whipped cream accord , vanilla, milky sandalwood , fluffy musk . The packaging is durable and attractive: the bottle doesn’t break or leak and looks good on the nightstand with my other scents and travels well in my bag. The body mists come in two sizes: a travel size and a larger size. I always buy both so I can use the large size in the mornings and take the smaller size with me throughout the day. I often don’t need to respray very often throughout the day as the larger size is enough. It can be applied day or night for many occasions like for work or in the evening for an event or for weekend activities. The product is a light mist that is not cloying or sticky... just a barely there scent that blends into the skin and leaves a sweet scent. I find that to me all the mists have a refreshing clean scent. The extra whip body mist is my favorite because it is great by itself or layered with other lotions or fragrances. It’s a good clean just out of the shower sort of scent. I usually use it with the Snif Hot cakes or Naughty Nonna scents but it really could go with a cashmere, vanilla , musk, rainfall, floral , herbaceous, or fruity scent... it’s the ultimate versatile or standalone scent. I think it’s smells like a slight sweet vanilla or cream scent... not heavy and not sugary sweet . It’s not a strong vanilla scent either. I also like it because it’s affordable: the scent doesn’t need to be applied a lot , the travel size and larger size last a long time, usually months for me and I apply it almost everyday. The small size is about $20-$25 and the large size is about $35 and they often go on sale or on discount. I think it’s good for any age person to try. Snif has many unisex scents and this is one of them. If you’re looking for a body mist or a light perfume that’s affordable, I recommend the Snif body mists, especially the extra whip body mist. I give it 5 stars my favorite!

This is the only scent I liked from the Hot Cakes collection; although I do appreciate Snif’s ability to craft photorealistic gourmand fragrances and the others smell exactly as advertised, they just weren’t my preferred scents. Extra Whip really does have a “cold” feel when you first spray it, but it definitely warms up on the skin. It’s a nice creamy lactonic sweet vanilla but I genuinely do hits of authentic whipped cream (I do agree with other reviewers that it’s slightly coconutty as well). To me this feels like a summery vanilla but I could see it layering well over a lot of fragrances and being just as enjoyable in the cooler months. It’s a linear scent that stays consistent throughout the wear time. This is also surprisingly long-lasting. I tested it at Ulta alongside eau de toilettes from Snif and Vacation and this lasted the longest/strongest. I’m not sure if I’d purchase it because I have other vanillas I like and it’s not so unique that I feel I have to have it, but I’ve got enough reward points from Snif to get a free bottle and I think I’ll get it. Maybe it’ll turn out to be a must have! Update - I did purchase a full bottle and absolutely love this. It’s one I can see staying in my collection. It layers really nicely with Gentle Reminder but I also like wearing it with Match Made in Heaven from Sorce and JPG’s Divine.

Interesting! Originally bought this to pair with Blanche Bete in search of layering more milky sweet fragrances however that isn't what Extra Whip is at all. On my skin it reads as more of an ambroxan toasted sugar vanilla. Reminds me more of Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar more than a lactonic cold fragrance. I never got any alcohol smell even on the initial spray which is rare in my experience with most body mists. It's immediately a warm, inviting, sugary vanilla. The longevity on this is amazing. Sprayed it on my body and clothes and still smelled it even after 8 hours of wear being outside and doing chores. Not sure why it's so strong on me. The projection is great and leaves a strong trail in the wind (or so I've been told). Not what I was expecting at all, but I really like this and will repurchase when I run out! Pairs nicely as a topper with the lactonic fragrances I already have. I'm seriously impressed. Story time: I blind bought this at Ulta because I went to go test it but they were all in the back so I asked a worker if they still had it and she handed me a fully packaged one and I didn't want to ask her again if there was one already open I could test so I just bought it lmao and died a little inside cause I did not want to come back and return this so soon ahaha.

This is beautiful , it goes with everything .its not overly sweet but creamy ,aldahydic whipped cream its great for layering but smells amazing on its own i have not been able to put this one down . Somethimg strangly addictive in this spray that keeps me coming back for more . For a body spray it lasts decent amount of time and projects very well ,clean creamy goodness if you like gourmands this is a must have and goes with everything , if you like clean scents this also checks that box as it smells clean creamy and just slightly sweet . This set is my favorite scents to come out this year .

Had been dreaming to find a whipped cream fragrance for a while, and what a lovely surprise. The aldehydes in this make it so interesting- you really do feel this coldness, all the while still smelling the warmth of the musk and the buttery quality that cream has. It is a very, very realistic lactonic scent with a touch of sweetness. It feels like a cozy hug, like a comforting childhood treat. Adorable. Odd to say one could find a scent to be cute, though i believe this fragrance perfectly fits the term. Wholesome, light and sweet.

Something about it reminds me of Prada Candy, which I own, so I don’t feel the need to purchase this one. It has a soft powdery feminine quality about it. I’d still choose Prada Candy over this if I was going for those vibes. ETA: the longer I’m wearing this, the more I’m thinking I may need to pick up a bottle sometime. Even though I see similarity to Prada candy, this one might be a bit softer, more subtle, more wearable for every day. It’s airy, yet cozy and powdery. I’m picking up on the whip now and it’s lovely.

This is my first review on fragrantica and I had to leave it because I love this SO much. I’m don’t typically buy or use body mists but I’ve been so impressed with this one. It’s exactly what I wanted it to be. Definitely scratching the sugary + vanilla itch I’ve had lately. Smells like a lovely cold vanilla whipped cream. Projection and longevity is really good, especially for a body mist, in my opinion. I bought the big bottle then bought two travel sizes because they’re buy one get one free at Ulta right now!

creamy simple n sweet. got multiple compliments on it already! one of my friends commented on the scent trail it leaves and i was so surprised! i thought they were mistaking my fragrance for our other friend who was literally wearing mancera but no it was me confirmed... take that as u will. not a realistic whipped cream scent but still very pleasant. it’s got the “vibes” of whipped cream. creamy in the way a rly thick moisturizing hair conditioner that prolly has coconut in it smells creamy. love it

Thought I would not like this because I don't like lactonic scents, but holy, I have gone through an entire large bottle in a few months (rare for me to put a dent in a body spray.) You can literally layer it with ANYTHING and it smells good. Longevity isn't so great, but I use it in combos with other scents and it's amazing. Also great to spray on before bed.

such a light, sugary vanilla fragrance. One of my absolute favorites. Slightly toes the line of being too sweet, but when paired with more sandalwood-type fragrances balances out so well. I am constantly complimented while wearing this.

I wish it lasted longer and had more strength, but this pairs nicely with a vanilla body lotion. It smells like straight up whipped cream from the can. The aldehydes make it smell cold. It's such a fun fragrance.

I love this so much! It's a whipped, airy, sweet cream fragrance. It actually lasts several hours on my skin, which surprised me. If you love sweet, fluffy vanillas, definitely give this one a try!

Its a warm vanilla like melted ice-cream and im kind of obsessed. It absolutely can be worn on its own or layered

This? Is Frosted Coconut Snowball (fcs) with more sweet Whipped Cream than coconut and a whisper of aldehydes and a dash of vanilla. I can’t really smell and sandalwood? But this is my first wear and it’s very cold here today!! But I see them as similar, due to the cold vibe they project. What I’ve always loved about FCS, was that it was coconut but, NOT sickeningly sweet and neither is Extra Whip! I LOVE the notes in this I love how it smells! Perfect cold whipped cream the kind you make at Christmas, in one of those chilled stainless steel bowls... ahhh Perfect... a cold lightly sweetened milk! I absolutely LOVE the use of aldehydes in here!! Not a lot of the younger gen love (nor understand) aldehydes ha (I love them) but the way they’re done here? Very unique!? I’m now trying to hunt down a similar perfume IF anyone knows of an EDP similar to this that’s a bit stronger etc, msg me!!? It’s literally just a touch of the aldehydes, which makes it different than most creamy body mists! what I find so unique about the notes? Is due to said aldehydes it’s literally givning an airy chilliness to this! BUT...alas? It does NOT project nor last. I’m curious how this will be when it’s warmer?as of now? There’s NO curdle etc to it!! Just perfect... I love it, possibly More than my frosted coconut snowball! And this will probably be my bedtime scent def worth it when it’s on sale only!! it’s way way overpriced as are their perfumes for the size available. I just got it off TT shop free shipping for like ten bucks less than normal (I’m not A fan of the TT fragrance ppl whom can’t be trusted ha but love a sale!

I love this anytime but it reallly shines in early fall imo 🍂. This to me is like a wayyy better NEW bottle (trust me, age matters with FC) Fresh cream (without the sourness that can sometimes develop). Its sweet, it's slightly aldehydic and it does feel 🧊"cold", a nice representation of whipped cream! Thankfully I don't get too much coconut like i do with Heavy Cream. While it is similar to Harajuku lovers pop electric G, G is alot more coconutty and has a sharp white floral drydown and is closer to Heavy cream. This is just sweet Reddi whip with slight background musk after drydown, although there is something in the base im not totally loving, thats my only con with Extra whip. Also really nice layered with Dedcool's Mochi milk or AG Cloud intense. Longevity is good, not Phlur level but around 3-4 hours.

It's cold, a little buttery, and has hints of powdered sugar. Pretty good. I probably wouldn't buy it with my own money (it was a part of the Ulta student fall deal) but I like it enough to wear it. UPDATE: the longevity is actually really good! I wasn’t expecting much but it actually lasted through the night when I wore it to bed. I’d say it stays on for at least five hours or so.

For a body spray, I really do like this! Definitely a cold, whipped-cream-straight-out-of-the-canister scent. I can see this being a sugary gourmand that works well in warmer weather, since it is a body spray and intentionally "cold" smelling with the metallic undertones. Lasts longer than many of my actual perfumes and projects well, too!

Found myself consistently sniffing myself after spraying it in store at Ulta. A lightly sweet musk. Almost a photorealistic melted whipped cream scent, but it’s extremely light so it’s a good gourmand for people who have more sentivitity to it! I love vanillas but they’re always strong! This is light and buttery

It's redundant to my collection but I like it, I will keep it for the price point and I got the smaller size just to kind of test it first. I find it to be a pleasant vanilla scent, close to Boy Smells Cream Dream which I find to have just the slightest bit more longevity and projection

they did their thannnnng with this body spray. it’s like and smells just like cool whip. initial spray was a bit alchololy, as much body sprays are but then BAM. straight up sweet whip cream. layered with soda snob!

I was quite shocked to find out that there was no coconut note in this because I swear I smell coconut! This one is the lightest of the mists and probably my least favorite. This could layer with anything though!

A light basic vanilla. Airy and perfect to help add that vanilla scent to any perfume.

Weak and lame. This smells like an even more lifeless SDJ 59. Whatever lol 😅

I love cheap vanillas, I always admit to it...I get as much out of them as I do more refined fragrances (just like food or music, there's a mood for all of it). This is a little pricier than many "cheap" things, but it doesn't necessarily smell like it. With simple vanilla themes it's kind of like...'Well, how does anyone expand on the tried&true?'. It's really, quite enjoyable and delicious smelling, but it's nothing exceptional or innovative like some of Snif's other releases. The creamy notes/accord is nice however, and it does smell chilled. I do ponder though...how much of this response, if I'm honest, was primed by the title? Probably a fair amount, because you go into the experience *expecting* whipped cream. It doesn't smell like coconut to me, but coconut *is* plushy quite often, and so is sandalwood ("fig" notes often are too). So...I wonder if it causes people to smell a ghost note of coconut? Just my $.02. It's not bad, but it doesn't rank among the greatest cheap vanillas to me.

Ehh it's not bad, but not what I was hoping for. At first spray it smells like cold whipped cream. The dry down is weird on me. It becomes sugary DRY sandalwood. Which isn't bad, but it loses that vision of whipped cream. It is very close to the skin, and I get about 3 hours of wear. It's a body mist of a light scent so it's not bad. However, I really DISLIKE the packaging. It looks fine, but it is just really thin cheap plastic. As compared to something like Phlur or Ellis Brooklyn body sprays that feel more expensive and are at the same price point as these body sprays. I would not repurchase.

Kind of underwhelmed by this one. When I bought it I was hoping for Phlur's Heavy Cream minus the sugared lemon note, but honestly it smells almost exactly like Moon Milk by Frenshe to me minus the subtle spiciness, which just bores me to be honest. I much prefer Heavy Cream to this especially now that its winter and the lemon note is no longer sickening. It's fine I guess and might be useful for layering but I just have better things that I reach for.

It's true to its name, smells just like whipped cream. Sugary, creamy and lactonic. It is very sweet. The aldehydic note stands out when you first spray it. It's less sweet and slightly musky on my skin, but still very sugary and creamy. The scent lasts. However, it can be cloying and headache inducing in my opinion. I was expecting it to be a light airy cream scent.

The most disappointing fragrance in the pancake collection to me as I am seemingly noseblind to it. It’s aldehydic with a tiny hint of musk and sandalwood, but I get absolutely no sweetness or lactonic qualities. I’m going to let it sit for a few months and check on it again to see if it develops at all, but I have a feeling this product just doesn’t work for me.

Meh - it’s airy, and creamy, but also quite synthetic and plasticy! Almost coconutty in a way. This is light and sweet and generic. There’s a beachy aspect to it. This is one of those that is kind of nice if you get just a whiff of it, but the closer you sniff the more it smells not quite right. I’m not getting whipped cream, but rather coconut sugar.

I like the plastic smell of it, but it’s kind of like a dull, dusty candle vanilla. It’s fine, but I wouldn’t repurchase.

this is milkier than vanilla skin; more smooth. i definitely get the sandalwood and a really milky vanilla.

A strong aldehydic opening with a faint creamy backdrop. It’s giving vanilla hairspray.

I regret buying this, although luckily I wasn’t expecting much. This brand always uses those harsh musks, and you’ll find it in here too. It opens very aggressively. There is something noticeably off in here- my mind went with cardboard. Along the same lines as Heavy Cream in terms of it having a thick quality, but not nearly as sweet, and this one opens with an intensified version of the slight staleness that you get from Heavy Cream after several hours. I don’t detect any redeemable vanilla, sweet notes. Very mediocre, a vaguely sweet musky fragrance. I avoided the others in this collection because I specifically didn’t want to have an issue with strange bread accords....but it’s in here too. I simply do not understand this brand’s continued need to make fragrances that smell like yeast. Why does this need to be so complicated? It’s not that it’s repulsive, but it’s just not wearable. Fragrances like this invite unwanted interpretations and associations. I don’t want to smell like strange, unidentifiable aromas. I can already imagine my partner making a confused and distorted face in response to this. I’m not even going to attempt confirming. A fragrance is not enjoyable if I have to ever worry about this. I don’t care too much about packaging, but in case you’re wondering, yes it’s pretty cheap feeling. Quality wise this is slightly better than Victoria Secret/BBW and below Phlur or SDJ. The brand does not allow returns on their small body spray sizes and they charge almost $9 in shipping. Not impressed with this gimmicky, greedy brand and doubt I will explore anything else.

I love the opening, more like a chemically vanilla that's clean. But after ten minutes, the dry down is more like spoiled milk. I was so hoping to find a milky vanilla that doesn't smell spoiled. I'll have to keep looking.

blind bought this after the heartbreak that was phlur's heavy cream body mist (too sour and citrusy it smelled like rotten milk kind of but it was nice and creamy on the dry down!). i was searching for a sweet, photorealistic, whipped cream scent and oh boy did this deliver. its like 4 hours later and it still smells the same as the first spray and it projects ALOT. i definitely smell the vanilla notes very upfront now, but theres something musky and brown sugary about it YET it still stays smelling like cold whipped cream scooped off a sundae. im definitely going to be reaching for this one alot. score !!

Extra whip smells like vanilla buttercream frosting but airy cold whipped ? It almost gives at first spray of play -doh effect people say about vanilla and sugar notes. But then in the dry down you almost think you’re gonna get a coconut cream note. I do enjoy this one so much dry down is so pleasant. It’s not offensive I can overspray all I want . It lasts for quite long time on skin and on clothes. Snif body sprays are legit bang for your buck in my opinion with the longevity and projection. Happy repeat purchase for sure .

On clothes and paper, this has a cool creamy sandalwood note to it. On my skin, it quickly turns into pure butter. Salty butter! It's delicious but if you're not into something a bit odd it may not be your thing. edit: This really shines as a layering perfume, and of course Snif already knows that. Layered with Demeter's Green Tea, lovely things start happening. I also bet that a pure iso e super scent will be incredible mixed with this!

Kind of surprised that in a year of milk/lactonic fragrances being on trend, Extra Whip is not getting more love. Sure, on first spray this is pretty basic vanilla, but if you let it marinate it turns into a pretty creamy, milky body spray. Great projection for a mist too. I literally always get complimented on this one.

Gross! Smells like a tub of whipped cream left in the sun. Smells cheap, disgustingly synthetic, and headache inducing. Kinda reminds me of those scented hand sanitizers from middle school due to the incredibly strong rubbing alcohol scent.

This is a simple, sweet whipped cream scent. It's gentle, and stays very close to the skin. Not a fan of the sandalwood dry down.

Smells very similar to Skylar- Vanilla Sky but without the coffee note. I like it, it’s too light for the price though.

this is really pretty but SUPER sweet, i wish there was a little more of the aldehyde and musk to balance it out 😕
