Hazel Split

If there is banana and hazelnut in this it’s quite and in the background not to be smelled but this is an all chocolate body spray. It smells so heavenly and fantastic. This is a true chocolate body spray like opening up a milk chocolate Symphony barb it taste exactly how Symphony chocolate taste or Dove milk chocolate. It’s not tootsie roll, not Nutella, not chocolate banana it’s a straight up delicious milk chocolate spray. I think the banana is there but it’s more like a banana milk and not banana slices bc it has this extra a creaminess to it that’s not extra milk or vanilla but very sweet. This body spray is amazing and actually quite strong for a body spray

Love this and I know gourmands can be gross in the summer but this one has to get a pass from me! It smells sooo nostalgic of my childhood summers. My moms tanning lotion and frozen chocolate covered bananas out in the sun <3 I am trying to avoid body sprays because I tend to buy so many since I can justify the price to myself a little more but this one I'm getting ASAP. I totally get the choco musk comparisons but the banana makes this one stand out!

If you don’t like this at first let it sit for a few months. I HATED this scent at first. I was anxious to return it. Too sharp. Too strong. No real definition. But my return window passed and I stuck with it. I went to sniff it again about 3 months later, just to verify my hatred and was stunned at how good it smells. It is sooo good. So good. And I’m very sensitive to scents. I guess it just needed to settle a bit. Worth the wait.

I LOVE this. I need it in a EDP, though i will say that this has amazing longevity, better than any body mist i have ever tried. it lasts hours and is strong. it’s a very cocoa heavy fragrance. it smells like sweetened cocoa powder, maybe a little like nutella. i don’t get much banana but as a gourmand lover, this is a dream. well worth the price!

I got one whiff at an ULTA and kept smelling the sample paper ALL DAY. It’s so good, I’ve never had banana in a scent before but it’s honestly delicious. It mixes with the other scents perfectly, it’s genuinely an it girl gourmand.

I LOVE this for layering with two other body mists or with a perfume to add that cacao nutty note that i want. It definitely started smelling better after a while compared to when i first bought it.

if almond joy was made into a perfume, it'd be this. as soon as i spray it, that coconut smacks me in the face. i can get a bit of the banana-- it's not banana candy (thank goodness, not a fan), more like a very ripe banana that will be only good for banana bread in another day or two. i can smell the cocoa, but it's mixed with the coconut as well as the nuttiness from the hazelnut. i've never smelled nutella so i can't make that comparison, but almond joy candy bars for sure! the drydown does mute a lot of the coconut though, so i can smell more of the cocoa. it's not cloyingly sweet but i think this is too much for wearing in the high heat, definitely more suited for cooler weather. it sits pretty close to the skin so i can see myself using this as mostly a cozy scent around the house.

The accuracy of these gourmonds by Snif is just remarkable. I'm truly impressed. You need to buckle up, go easy on the trigger, and expect sweetness up to volume 100 with this. It's deceptively strong, and yes, very Nutella-esque. Moreso than Angel Muse to my nose (though AM has a lot of other powerful components to it too). This has an actual cocoa powder accord. There is banana...but also...there's no banana. And my brain splits (pun intended) in two different directions. Sometimes I smell the banana beneath the chocolate avalanche, but sometimes as I smell this...I lose track of it and merely pick up on the *texture* of banana. Hot Cakes is fun, and so is this. Definitely worth a try!

As a die hard lover of Kyse Cacao Noisette I was so excited for this, and while I do enjoy it, I am a bit disappointed. The drydown is an absolutely stunning blend of chocolate hazelnut and banana, but after about 10 minutes, the chocolate fades and the banana comes into the forefront. It’s not bad by any means, but the banana smells less fresh and more like an old banana you’ve had sitting in your freezer for weeks that you’re finally pulling out to use in a smoothie. Smells a lot nicer layered over Hot Cakes! On its own, its pretty faint and lasts about 5 hours on me.

the one i ended up purchasing! mostly due to the fact that im a sucker for chocolate/cocoa notes and this does it very pleasantly. imo its more powdery and a little less sweet than chocolate musk which differentiates them enough for me. smells like nestle chocolate milk powder! if i really try i can get the ghost of some banana.... somewhere.... edit: the longest lasting body spray out of the three for sure too

I was so eager to try the new hot cakes fragrance + toppings after hearing so many mixed reviews about both. This mist in particular seemed to be the most disliked. Well something must be wrong with me because this was my favorite topping spray!! It smells like a chocolate covered banana! This is definitely something I would wear in the colder weather as it may be too cloying on the summer.

Very good for layering with other gourmand scents. I layered this with B&BW Chocolate Amber body wash, Kwailnara Banana milk lotion, brown sugar babe Hot Chocolate body oil, and Comptoir sud pacifique Vanille banane perfume as my bedtime scent tonight and it’s delicious! This will probably layer well with choco musk as well

This smells just like a baby Guinness shot tastes! Chocolate liqueur with a banana shooter on the side! It’s smooth and light and sugary as anything, but ready for a good time! As it dries, I get the nuttiness and it becomes almost like Nutella Ella! I’m really enjoying this and it is so wonderfully unique!

Alright Snif I don’t know how you managed to wrap Nutella in a spray bottle but here we are. I couldn’t be happier with a true yummy chocolate scent that can either be worn on its own or layers with any gourmand fragrance. Best in cooler weather I’m going to be so excited to wear this in fall and winter!

I was expecting chocolate hazelnut spread and banana based off the marketing, but to me it smells like sweetened coconut flakes. I really like it. It's just not what I expected.

This is nutella with banana slices, with a sweet musky amber undertone. It is not too sweet and pretty wearable. I think it will be great for layering.

Hazel Vibes starts off with Nutella and a hint of banana, then turns into a darker chocolate. Very fun scent!

Smells like a deeply soaked chocolate bourbon ball for the 5 minutes it hangs on. I expected this to be a a lot better.

Banana, hazelnut and vanilla with a dash of cocoa, I don’t get much coconut from it. On paper for the first few minutes it smelled like gorgeous ripe bananas with crushed hazelnuts on top wrapped in a fluffy vanilla sweetness. Unfortunately on my skin bananas quickly turned into rotting peels and urinal cakes sitting in a dense cloud of cloying sweetness with a weird melted plastic undertone. Such a shame because usually my body chemistry doesn’t interfere with fragrance much. I blame very prominent bananas for such an outcome, it’s a hard note to pull off. Beastly performance though especially for a body mist, I had to scrub it off my wrist by the end of the day.

Hazel Split is just awful on me. To start is smells like that hazelnut cappuccino powder you find near the hot coco in a grocery store. Then it gets a weird strong bitter almost vegetal note. After a little bit - maybe 20 minutes - I can smell Nutella under the bitter. Based on the reviews I'm not the only one that gets the hit of unpleasant notes...maybe it's a body chemistry thing? I might let it macerator like another reviewer suggested...but even if the bitterness goes away I suspect it will still smell cheap.

I'm not sure how to feel about this scent, I think I just don't find it very wearable. Ive had this in my collection since it came out and ive only worn it once. It smells nice like a yummy chocolatey banana, but I think it's just gonna become a bedtime scent for me. I don't really like pairing it with hot cakes (ironically) idk I feel bad because I was on a big chocolate kick when I first bought it but now it just sits on my shelf. It does have amazing longevity and projection though!!

I'm not sure why but I get floral notes in this. It's not as sweet or even chocolately as I had hoped it would be. First sniff, it immediately reminded me of another fragrance that I also did not like and ended up selling. In fact, I would say they are pretty much identical. And if you are a fan of this, but want a stronger version (edp), I suggest getting Arabiyat Sugar Vanilla Latte. You're welcome!

This has such an overpowering STRONG spray it almost made me nauseous. The dry down is nice afterwards, but the smell just takes up the entire space.

somebody said choco covered wet dog and i agree. there's something extremely unpleasant to my nose with this one. the weakest of all of the three :-(

This is SO nice on paper. Chocolate and a fresh banana. But on clothes and on skin, it's a super cloying and ugly honey scent that verges on urine.

No banana here for me. Just chocolate covered wet dog. 100% my least favorite of the mist set.

I’m not into banana scents but the initial spray of this was so delicious, it smells exactly like a chocolate covered banana at first but quickly turns into unsweetened cocoa powder on the dry down. I’m impressed to find a banana scent that isn’t tropical, this for me would def be a colder weather scent. Although I really liked it at first I find that like most Snif fragrances on me turn almost masculine on the dry down, a lot of that sweetness fades. If it didn’t have that I would drench myself in this.

im still on the fence about this. I like it yes but I don’t think I love it ( I had the same experience with the others initial spray) however berrystyles & extra whip have deepened and smell much richer since i started using them. ill give this another week to sit and come back to do a dedicated review. 5/3/25

Very coconut heavy with a light cocoa powder scent. I dont get banana whatsoever which is disappointing
