Rose Era

I wasn’t sure what world this would be in, Burberry Her EDT, Lancome Idole, SJP Lovely, MM Lazy Sunday Morning??? The notes put me in the mindset of all the clean roses I already know and adore. Quick aside: Redundancy is not a consideration for me when it comes to a scent profile I adore, like this one. I am more a collector than a consumer, so take that with whatever grain of salt you may. Anyway, This fragrance takes beauty queues from all of the above and adds a beautiful touch of a smooth and leathery saffron. It has an ethereal quality to it and dries down to a soft and beautifully sueded rose with a touch of sweetness. It opens with juicy sweet pear and strawberry, there is a momentary tartness that feels like raspberry jam that is quickly replaced by lush and dewy rose. The rose, while sweet, is pure and not jammy. It’s blooms and deepens as it develops and after a while, saffron opens up to ground it and smooth things over. The clean notes are more so felt than smelled. It doesn’t smell like laundry or clean linen, but it feels clean. I wouldn’t call this a freshie, but it is a fresh fruity floral. In comparison: Chanel Paris Paris is drier and greener with an emphasis on rose/patchouli blend. Burberry Her EDT is sweeter and woodier. SJP Lovely is soapier and settles more into a soft musk. Of the scents in the family, Rose Era is the most beautiful. It’s simultaneously different and familiar and is a welcome addition. I would call this blind buy safe and definitely crowd pleasing. It is multi setting appropriate, but think romantic or professional, not sexy or night out fun. For what it is, a solid entry into the clean rose space, I give it a 9/10. I’m dropping a point due to originality. Understanding the the average consumer will be picking out of a number of options, I don’t discredit a fragrance based on similarity to others. On its own, it is a solid composition. If longevity or projection are something you care about ( I personally would never want a clean rose to last more than 4-5 hours, and mostly don’t care about longevity or projection), you may drop this to a 7/10. This will be an easy reach for me for the majority of the year, right beside Chanel Paris Paris and SJP Lovely 🥰

I did a blind buy of the full bottle- the packaging was absolutely stunning, a box that unfolded into rose petals. Would make a gorgeous gift. And the juice smells amazing. I absolutely love rose fragrances (fresh, dewy, fruity, rich, any kind of rose!) My collection of rose perfumes is pretty extensive and this is in my Top 3 next to Paul Smith Rose ($) and Aerin Rose de Grasse ($$$$). It's flirty, girly, a little soapy, and reminds me of the mermaid toys from the 90's. It's so nostalgic! I sprayed it on my arm and my clothes to get a proper test of this. WOW, did I love it immediately. It's got the slightest hint of powder but not in a mature way, more like... the way an expensive makeup smells. There's also a hint of a fruity undertone that reminded me of pink jolly ranchers. It is so rosy and gorgeous, with a bit of tasty playfulness that makes my mouth water. It doesn't last too long on skin so I was reapplying after two hours. But I can smell it very strong next day on my hoodie! The projection is moderate, a small bubble around me smells delicious. I wish this came in a 100mL size because I know I'll need it soon. What a home run. For reference, I love almost anything rose, I like skin-scents and weird perfumes (Binaurale), I love fruity and bright perfumes, and I love a smoky sexy gourmand sometimes too. I avoid "fresh"and overly citrus stuff. If we have a similar scent profile, give Snif's Rose Era a try!

Blind buy success! This is a very light and dewy rose. Does not read mature or heavy to my nose which was my biggest worry. I only get strawberry in the opening and it’s a fruity fresh wet strawberry. Then I smell the rosy laundry middle and it does have a clean musky dry down. Makes me think of the musk (orcanox?) base also in Vanilla Vice and/or a lighter version of Another 13. At the end I am primarily getting laundry + musk. Pretty good wear time about 8 hrs for me but I do have a really sensitive nose. Overall I really like it. It’s very “clean girl” coded but isn’t sharp (looking at you, Melrose Place!) and it still manages to be a little fun and cute. I think it would be a great everyday perfume, especially spring summer but would also work in fall winter since it does feel comfy-cozy. Not offensive, office safe. Yes, I could see some people thinking it’s a bit basic but she’s gonna work great for me! I love to smell clean and pretty and it’s giving that. Also has perhaps the best packaging I’ve ever seen.

Like many others have stated, this perfume kind of reminds me of nice shampoo. Except to me, this specifically smells like Japanese hair products in the best way. The strawberry and rose combo is so gorgeous. I don’t love rose scents always but this one the rose smells really fresh and light. The strawberry is sweet but nicely blended into the scent so that it isn’t overwhelming. The “clean accord” as they call it stands out and makes me feel out of the shower fresh all day. I have gotten several compliments on this perfume, although mostly after going in for a hug or in close proximity to people as this does not have crazy strong projection. Overall I really like it! I originally bought a travel size and have already upgraded to the full size because it’s too good not to keep in the collection!

Was a impulse buy I do not regret. The packaging is beautifully done, and the bottle is cute & chic. First spray was Rosy, with a hint of pear. It felt like running thru a rose garden. As it dried down I got a soapy rose fabric scent. Think about spending the day deep cleaning your home. You shower and go the sleep in clean linen. The satisfaction. That's how this scent felt. Clean & beautiful. I woke up later in the night to get some water and I was able to still smell it on my wrists. I got a rosy woody scent with hints of ambrette. Honestly, got better throughout the night. This morning I can still smell it. This would be perfect for running errands and going on fun dates in the mornings ♡( ◡‿◡ )

Rose is easy for me to love, and this is no exception. It's such a pretty pink rose, backed up with a little bit of woods. The soapiness comes off as more shampooey to me, and the strawberry is definitely there adding a light sweetness. It's fresh, but not aquatic like Delina La Rosee. I don't detect the moss or saffron until the far drydown, and even then it's soft. I wore this to work today, and whenever someone would walk by and create a breeze, I kept wondering what smelled so good. It was me. I think this is wonderful for warm weather and plan to wear it a lot this summer!

This is a gorgeous scent. If "I'm just a girl" were personified, it would be this fragrance. The notes are well blended, but you can also smell each one: The strawberry is juicy, the pear is crisp & sweet, the rose is soft & pretty; and the soap is luxe & fresh. And the accompaning notes like saffron, moss, and ambrette blend beautifully. Must have if you love scents like Delina La Rosee, or just a beautiful soapy rose.

This perfume smells exactly 50% realistic strawberry and 50% realistic rose scent. It smells good but im not a huge fan of fruit scents. That being said, after it settled on the skin it was quite musky and sat close to the skin with a faint rose scent. i was also picking up the laundry accord scent hours later, which i actually really like. overall id purchase if it was available in a larger bottle.

Absolutely obsessed. Just tried this rose era perfume. Mostly cause I'm a suvker for a rose scent and floral in general. This scent is so well done. The floral is such a modern rose. It's toned down by the sweetness of the strawberry and the laundry clean scent is in there as well. I will always have this and I iwhs they made a larger bottle or body spray. I layer with snif me. Amazing combo.

I honestly think this is one of the best rose perfumes out there. I like it more than initio atomic rose, parfums de marly delina and the exclusif, and Ouai melrose place, among others I can name. It’s just so fresh and clean and smells like basically just rose. To me it smells like I just washed my hair with a rose scented shampoo. It’s amazing and on my wish list to get maybe next year.

Beautiful scent! Smells like B&BW Rosewater and Ivy but with a soapy sweet shampoo note added. Love it, watery rose scent. Full bottle worthy and I can smell it on me throughout the day. Could be a nice signature fragrance for someone who likes sweet rose. Does not have the bitter screechy note that Delina has.

Very soapy and fresh rose. It is just all around pleasant! Much like the prettiest shampoo you could imagine, but I wish there was more staying power for sure. Smells exactly like the color pink more than anything or how you would imagine a fairy to smell. Great choice for everyday. Signature scent worthy.

After having and using up a travel size of Delina, I didn't think I liked Rose fragrances. That one is a tad too loud for me. This one is pretty, easy, girly, and much lighter. It has decent longevity and sillage for an EdT, and I love the price point. It's rose, but a pink rose after a rain storm.

I blind bought this and I am so happy I did. I absolutely love the soapy accord. This fragrance is blended so beautifully and I’m thrilled the perfume is as stunning as the packaging. Don’t know why I slept on Snif for so long but glad I purchased a few more scents. Such a great price range.

I blind bought this based on people saying it was a Rose and clean scent combined and WHAT A SUCCESS! I have such a large collection, but man this is going to be the best and easy reach scent for the summer! I am thrilled to have this in my summer rotation!

Soapy, clean rose that is bright and bubbly. The champagne note absolutely stands out here and there is a gourmand aspect to it that I really like. it is similar to Delina la Rosee, but not identical. Incredibly girly. Perfect for spring!

This projected on me for about 2 hours then faded to a skin scent. Other than that, I really enjoy this!! To me, it's a more modern version of Clinique Happy

I absolutely adore this fragrance. Right off I get this floral, fruity, fresh smell and I love it. This would be a good fragrance for any rose haters.

i love this, its nostalgic, girly and summery fresh. but $65 for 1 oz is not affordable or reasonable at all. so its a pass for me

First impressions: Listen I’m usually a rose HATER, but this a fruity shampooy rose that is super juicy. It’s giving the smell of a nice shampoo of freshly washed hair. I wish this lasted longer. And the bottle cap being magnetic is so good! This could be a gym perfume, maybe. Although, it may be too fruity to mix with sweat. Edit 1: I think if you love a shampooy rise you’ll love this one. As for me, I think this is really good. Almost a signature scent. However, I think the dry down is a little too underwhelming for my taste. It’s also a bit too faint of sillage for me. Some may say that this smells grandmotherly due to the rose, but I think it comes off modern for a rose scent which I like. Edit 2: Ehh I’m kind of getting sick of this. This is definitely NOT a gym scent. It’s too strong and too fruity to be good in the heat. So I feel that since this isn’t either a signature scent nor a gym scent it has got to go. I could still smell it on the bed when I reapplied after a shower so the longevity is good. The strawberry note is overwhelming the rosiness of the fragrance, and then some part of me is also like. The rosy affersmell, it smells like grandmom to me. Which is not a bad thing I just think I would rather be a white floral grandmother than a rosy one. Verdict- pass, but I’m not mad at it if it was someone else’s signature. The rose is too heavy for me and smells like grandmaish. Not that it’s bad, but this is the type of grandma I don’t want to smell like.

effortlessly ethereal. soft, sweet, laundry scent, no harsh oxyclean or tide pods here. a rose scent i actually like?? and from snif, a house i usually am at best “meh” about??? i feel like “dewdrops” is an important note here that really transforms the fruit-floral combo into something really fresh, hopeful, and romantic. the pear imo is underrated here as well, adding a tartness that really uplifts the fragrance and keeps it out of saccharine territory. the rose notes are reminiscent of rosewater or (when combined with strawberry) the jammy center of thumbprint cookies— and yet, it maintains a beautiful fresh quality that doesn’t come across as vintage nor as a “heavily fragranced makeup” type of floral. i agree that rose era is more rose scented laundry detergent than fresh rose, but i like that, and it plays extremely well with the strawberry. the strawberry gives rich shower lather or strawberry milk more than it does strawberry field, but in a way that doesn’t feel out of place in this perfume: fruity, creamy, soft, a little tart. overall a lovely, clean, easy to wear perfume.

I typically don't like rose perfumes (usually gravitate torwards white florals if any) but saw reviews about Rose Era smelling like clean laundry and that it has a strawberry note I had to try it. So it mostly is rose at first spray then it drys down into a clean sweet soapy rose shampoo type smell which I think definitely makes it feel more like a modern rose perfume than a powdery or aged and I really like that I think it would pair well with any of the Ouai Melrose place line as well; however I wish it had more of a sugared fresh strawberry note as I don't detect strawberry at all.. fortunately for me though I don't get any of the saffron either which is what I was hoping for Honestly but it's really nice and really adorable packaging.

i never cared about anything from snif, if anything everything i’ve smelled had been a strong strong dislike for me but this is different! this is a fruity, juicy, dewey rose that is reminiscent of rose water. it’s very very pretty! the performance is on par for an edt, nothing great and it definitely needs to be reapplied frequently. i used my points and a gift card and basically got it for free so it’s a win i guess. i wouldn’t pay $65 for 1oz edt that im gonna blow through in like a month lol. overall i really like it but longevity, sillage, overall performance, and price is not amazing i give it a 7/10 based just off the smell 🌹🤍🎀

This is a strawberry rose match made in heaven. Those two notes are the most prominent and they blend perfectly in perfectly modern interpretation of a classic rose. It stays consistent from first spray all the way to the dry down. I devoured my sample and I'm still chasing the high, but I can't in good conscience buy a full size of this perfume. Sadly, it simply does not last longer than an hour (even if you overspray it) and has zero projection. If I could find this exact scent elsewhere that actually lasted for at least a few hours then I would buy it immediately. But Snif, please do better with your perfume longevity, I beg.

Rose Era is a very strong "like" for me. For those who have been flirting with the idea of incorporating a perfume w/a rose note into their rotation, this is a safe gateway bottle. The rose note merges beautifully with the strawberry and pear notes, assuring this fragrance is neither too juvenile nor overly mature. Dry down is also incredibly lovely and clean. It is non-offensive, neither overwhelming or under whelming, and can be suitable for any occasion. My only complaint is that it only lasts about 3-4 hours on the skin and clothing. For the price, it is a winner!

I get the strawberry and rose, the rose here is young and bright, like it just bloomed. It’s clean in the aspect of this smelling like a pretty shampoo or leave-in conditioner. The saffron initially is a bit off putting to me because it has a plastic, burnt rubber smell but it thankfully dissipates fairly quickly. This is very day time appropriate and those that enjoy the clean girl, and coquette aesthetic will appreciate it. This is easy to wear, and I think those expecting something complex will not care for it, but overall, it’s a nice fruity floral.

This is a sparkling rosy strawberry that feels clean, pretty, and feminine. The rose is light here and the strawberry brightens the scent without being super fruity. It’s light and inoffensive, good for everyday wear, equally appropriate for the office, date night, brunch with girlfriends, etc. it’s not super long-lasting but I’ve gotten compliments on it long after I thought it had worn off. This is definitely a compliment-getter. I didn’t love it at first because I wanted a stronger rose but it’s grown on me a lot.

Equal parts rose, strawberry, and soap. A very refreshing, fruity rose that kind of smells like a pricy salon shampoo. It’s pretty, but I think many perfume collectors may already have something like this in their collections. I love rose perfumes, so I had to try this, even though I own plenty of rose frags already. Rose Era just isn’t distinct enough from my other roses to justify buying a full bottle right now. The sillage and projection aren’t that great either. Found myself reapplying this a LOT.

This one is nice. Definitely a soapy rose, thing like a pink dove soap bar mixed with an edge of fruitiness. Very floral and fresh, I actually really like this. Other scents from this house are hyped more, but this deserves a sniff if you like rose fragrances. I don’t think I’d jump at a full bottle simply because I have other things that do smell very similar, but it was nice. Would layer well with you’re the one body care from bath and body, although this option is a bit lighter and more airy.

At first, the strawberry is very prominent and it feels like a Delina sort of rose. However, in the dry-down I can't detect any strawberry, which I don't mind. It transforms into a very fresh, clean smelling fragrance with more of a rosewater scent. Definitely a little soapy. There's something in this that very slightly reminds me of Odeur 53 by Comme des Garcons. I'm really enjoying the dry-down and I might end up purchasing a bottle.

Muskier than I expected. At first sniff, I got a blast of pear and pink rose petals, plus something lotiony. As it develops, I smell more sandalwood (though it's not listed as a note) and the sweetness comes through. There's a champagne-y quality. It's very pleasant, a crowd-pleaser. I enjoyed catching whiffs of it throughout the day. Smells like: Sheer pink tulle.

I am not necessarily fan of rose or soap in fragrances. Neither of those notes are offputting in Rose Era. I mainly smell the pear, the fabric, and the (beautiful!) dewdrop. It strikes me as "pretty & put together". One of those effortless, dainty, easy reach type of scents. Doesn't remind me of Idole.. it's lighter on the florals.

A very pretty, clean, shampooey rose scent! Doesn’t feel particularly unique, but it’s nice to see a crowd-pleasing option like this from a relatively affordable clean brand. A little too girly for me personally, but I’d love to smell this on others!

This is a beautiful fruity scent that doesn’t come across too juvenile. I don’t pick up any of the rose, it’s more of a strawberry laundry scent. Very clean and happy! I can see this being an easy reach all spring and summer!

This is a "strong like" for me. On my skin, it makes me think of a grown-up Strawberry Shortcake doll. A little floral, a little strawberry, a little bit plasticky-dryer sheet, and a little bit sexy-musky.

Beautiful soapy, strawberry rose. Lasts all day on my skin, 8 + hours and is a great fresh everyday perfume. I'd say maybe avoid in high temps.. it got to be a bit much in the heat.

A sweet, airy, dreamy rose 🩷. Not very deep or sexy. Office safe. Tbh, I'm getting tired of modern rose perfumes because I find them too spicy, but this one stays fresh.

Rose but distorted by something in the formula which must be the "fresh laundry" accord. I've been smelling somewhat often lately and no likey.

You guys know how much I appreciate rose and Rose Era is like fresh roses paired with strawberry champagne. It’s perfect for Sunday brunch.

Reviewing for my own memory because the branding of this one keeps pulling me back. It does smell beautiful and super feminine. It's a juicy, clean shampoo scent that smells exactly like it looks. It reminds me of some offerings from VS over the years. That being said I'm somewhere between 'OK' and 'Like' for myself because I know realistically this is too floral for me to wear regularly (headachy). It's really, really pretty but it also reminds me of that feeling I get when allergies start up in the spring lol. I'm glad I tried a mini but I also don't think this would ever be a FB for me. I could see someone describing this as 'old lady perfume' scent because of the soapy rose. I agree with others it has a laundry feel. I bought this because I wanted to attempt a pink, clean girl feel and I certainly think it hits that mark.

It is perfect and oh so ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨vibrant!!!! I am thrilled to have this beautiful scent in my collection! I was getting worried with Snif because I hated pretty much everything they launched this year Vanilla Vice and that Soda one were a complete NO for me...but I am glad this is working!! Oooh Rose Era how I wanted to love you SO badly! She is a beautiful scent. Jammy, sweet, sparkling, fruity, clean rose. Very fresh out of the shower, clean girl strawberry. Amazing right? Yes. If it didnt have the staying power of a dollar store body mist. 😭😭 She doesnt last - seriously - more than 5 minutes. Im having a really hard time believing all these rave reviews. There is just no way you can spray this and have it stick. It just immediately dies. I love love love the notes in this. It reminds me of a Garnier hair product I used in high school (which is NOT a bad thing - its very nostalgic). If Rose Era lasted, she would be an intense love. I would forever hold a spot for her on my perfume shelf. But $65 for a 1 oz body mist isnt it. Snif as a company is just a big marketing ploy.

Sometimes "sugar" is a note, or an accord. I was certain this would allegedly contain sugar, because of how sweet it is. The fruitiness is easily as dominant as the rose itself. I wish I smelled more saffron or anything spiced, I think more of an earthy influence would balance this out in a way that I'd appreciate. As it is, it's a notably polite, sugary rose with a fresh musk. Fairly straightforward, nothing objectionable, and DECISIVELY a rose for those who might be rose-shy. I personally enjoy rose a little edgier. Incense with rose, a classic rose&patch, a snappy green rose etc....that's my thing. Although this is easy for me to pass on, but I do think a lot of people would enjoy it thoroughly.

Gorgeous opening! Disappointing drydown. It opens with a perfect mix of bright fruitiness and a subtle, soft rose. It's sweet without being cloying. It's neither mature nor immature. And it doesn't overwhelm my nose like perfumes that feature Quentin Bisch's (or a Quentin Bisch-like) punchy rose note. I had to stop myself from buying it on the spot. However, what made my eyes roll at the beginning of the journey was lost within 15 minutes of the drydown, including the scent of the soft rose. It dries down to a generic, but still pretty, inoffensive, underwhelming $10 perfume. I'm glad I didn't buy this impulsively. Perfect gift for a teen, imo.

Kinda generic and boring but without being stinky. It’s just meh. The rose isn’t quite a rose, it’s several other notes but it’s muddled and has no character...I’d say it’s a laundry, soapy kind of rose? I don’t know...I’m a rose lover but I don’t love this one...
