Strawberry Moon

i've had this perfume for several years now- got it as a gift and originally didn't like it but it's grown on me tremendously. it's out of my comfort zone with the notes of leather and pink pepper, two i usually never reach for, but the harmony of them is like music to my nose. don't be fooled by the name, it's nothing like strawberries. it's a comfortable scent, something i can sit with for a long time and not get bothered by. it's pleasantly unique and i concur with the other reviewer who said they wished snif still made fragrances like this. i think this is good for all-year-round wear, but if i had to pick a season i'd say it's for summer.

I was a little worried buying this because of the reviews, but I went ahead and got it anyway because the notes are all things I enjoy. I’m so glad I got it because I am obsessed. Honestly it’s been a while since I’ve found a perfume that I couldn’t stay away from. This is all I want to wear now. It doesn’t have much in the way of silage, so it’s more of a skin scent, but it’s such a good one. Very happy with this.

LOVE. I seem to be an outlier for many of the fragantica reviews, but this is so good, I'm not even mad about the strawberry thing. It's sweet & savory & summery and maybe even all year round-y. Just perfect. I haven't owned it long enough to comment on sillage or longevity, but for the scent alone, sprayed onto my skin an hour ago, it's lovely!

I knew ahead of time that this wasn’t a strawberry scent and because of that I love it! I get a super smooth suede like leather, spicy pink pepper and a hint of fruitiness. The leather is done in a way that this can be an all year round scent. To me this is an edgy cool girl scent. If you wanted a basic scent...this isn’t it!

Love this. Smells like a sexy leather couch. Keep away from JD Vance if you’re wearing it tho. And honestly just in general.

I feel that some people don't like this scent just because the name is Strawberry moon, but there is no Strawberry note in it. To me, that kind of thinking is too shallow. You can't judge this by just that. To me, it's an artistic interpretation of the scent. The opening is sweet, leather and jasmine, giving a sweet and sharp feeling. Some flashes feel like the smell of a hospital (rubber gloves) and also gives a metallic that makes me think of a leather sofa in a hotel. After a while, the heavy leather scent at first will begin to decrease, becoming a warm spicy, metallic scent of saffron, but also giving a slight cool feeling. The scent doesn't change much, and the diffusion is quite close. At the end, I feel a kind of animalic scent. Personally, I don't love or hate this scent. I live in Thailand and asked a friend to order it from the USA because I was interested in the scent of the hotel and the beautiful perfume bottle with a magnetic cap. But if I had smelled it before buying, I would not have bought it.

I went into this scent knowing the backstory of how it is inspired by a hotel’s inside restaurant, bar and swim club. With that in mind I do feel like I am inside a clean leather forward seating armament in the hotel. There is nothing strawberry about it and the leather packs a punch. It is quite masculine smelling but something about this has a plastic note to me that does put me in the headspace of swimming in the hotels pool. It’s a very interesting scent and I think a great one to encompass the feeling of staying at this hotel. It’s not one I would personally reach for but I appreciate it for the experience.

The reviews here are wild. I think a lot of people are upset because the name does not match the perfume. I am okay with that and I find it to be cheeky and challenging, which is refreshing from this brand. It smells like being in a pool floaty with a cocktail in your hand. It’s not exceptional, but it’s better than what people are saying about it. I do not get leather, but I understand that the leather gives off the fruity/headier notes.

Warning: the strawberry does not exist. I actually do like this fragrance but it’s VERY strong. Pair with another fragrance to soften and it gives such an interesting profile. It gives something almost metallic, like hot graphite or burning pavement in a dry 100° summer sun. Overall, overwhelming and unpleasant initially but can be enjoyed.

I actually get the fresh fruity vibe on my skin. It starts out with a woody saffron. But the entire time it’s a clean fresh fruity vibe. No actual strawberry but the pink pepper and jasmine give way to a fruity vibe. It’s a very clean smoky vibe too. This actually is very refined. I am pleased.

I'm normally sensitive to "old lady" perfumes and a few reviews made me nervous, but I really liked Strawberry Moon!!! On me, it's very jasmine-forward with some amber on the dry-down. Despite the unisex branding, it skews traditionally feminine. Very spring/summer garden!!

My brain is confused. At first it was strawberry with lots of pepper, or at least my brain thought so. And then I remembered sniffing the head of my Strawberry Shortcake doll, which I liked. But then it went to 90s chapstick, which was just ok. But then my brain went to a fruity spice car air freshener that makes you nauseated in a hot car with windows up. It’s drying down a little less in your face... and my nausea has settled. But like I know that sounds bad, but cotton candy is good and can make you nauseated! 😆 I’m being harsh. I actually think I would like this on another person... it’s just not for me.

It actually smells like an old leather chair, not really a luxury modern hotel or anything. Strangely comforting but not very feminine and not what I'd like to smell like.

In some sick way, it actually gives off the vibe of being by the poolside.... if the poolside was at a retirement home with a bunch of pruny, powdery, unwashed old men. I wanted to love this, but it simply makes it impossible to. The first spray is a wild blast of a semi-hope-inducing kitchen lemon, then followed by powdery Kleenex, which gives the image of using furniture polish on the dustiest piece of furniture you’ve ever laid your eyes on. I have to give it credit, alongside the cringe-inducing similarity to an elder on their way out, if you close your eyes, there actually is something that makes you think of being by the poolside. I feel like this is one of those cases where something can be a memory scent, but not nearly close to something you should even consider wearing. Because realistically, absolutely nobody but you is going to think of the poolside when they catch a whiff of this— The first question they’d ask you is, “Do you work at a retirement home?” At best, I could compare this to a lemony crystal-lite drink if you didn’t stir the powder in. The name, and the cute font its embroidered in are not nearly indicative of how sour and musty this will make you smell.

Strangely, I did get a mock strawberry like scent here, and it was sweeter than I expected for a described "fresh" scent, but I still don't like it or understand it, as it doesn't really satisfy in either direction. I like the aesthetic of the font, but it doesn't translate to the actual fragrance. A miss for me. Get Natural Talent for powdered apricot candies or Honorable Mention for peach green tea or Ace Ace Baby for gingery lemonade instead. Update: Undersprayer gave a good description. It gives a feeling of the fake-sugar drink, Crystal Light, at the retirement home. It's just not pleasant.

i like how this is called strawberry moon but there's zero strawberry. it's a more feminine leather scent, the saffron pairs nicely with it.

This is too much leather and too masculine for me. House of 8 from Snif has a similar DNA to Strawberry Moon.

All I smell is a faint leather note. Not pretty. Nothing strawberry.

This smells like standing outside of a grocery store where someone has just changed the bag for the trash bin sitting by the door. Plastic + the essence of garbage, somehow. I am laughing while typing this because what ???? why does it smell like that Gave this bottle away very quickly. Got an update from the person I gave it to and they ended up not liking it either (unbiased opinion from them. I didn't tell them it smells like garbáge to me).
