Tart Deco

Why it took so long to add this scent to the Fragrantica database is beyond me lol. But I'm glad I can finally rave about this fragrance on here. In the opening, I'm immediately met with that sweet and juicy Dark Cherry blended with a hint of Birchwood. In my mind, prior to smelling this, I assumed this would be another version of Lost Cherry, but I was dead wrong. This is NOTHING like Lost Cherry or any other mainstream Cherry fragrance on the market. After a few minutes of wear, Tart Deco's earthy accord begins to emerge with that Vetiver note, meshing perfectly with the Black Cherry and forming something so uniquely sweet and addicting. I grew more fond of this fragrance each day I wore it. It's odd, but in the best way possible. That Blend of Cherry and Vetiver gives off a slight product smell of some sort, like makeup or a body care product. I couldn't put my finger on it, but I found it rather pleasing. In the dry down, I get hints of a creamy Vanilla, which kind of took me by surprise because I was so engrossed in the other prominent notes, I didn't think I would detect anything else. On my skin, Tart Deco offers an okay performance with about 5-6 hours of longevity at best and pretty impressive sillage that radiates a bit past arms length in the first 2 hours of wear. Afterwards, it settles closer to my skin. Overall, this is a solid 8/10 for me. I applaud Snif's perfumer(s) for taking Cherry and bringing something unique to the market instead of trying to ride the coat tail of other popular Cherry fragrances. While the performance may not be the best, I greatly adore this scent. And for $65, I can't really complain. If you're a Cherry fragrance lover, definitely consider giving this a try. **My review is about the perfume PRE-reformulation (they removed the raspberry top note and mimosa middle note :(). I sprayed it on my wrist and some of it got on the cuff of my hoodie. I also haven’t smelled this since May, so bear with me here. I fell in love with this perfume at first sniff. It’s what I imagine a female rockstar to wear. The cherry smell reminded me of the filling in Grand Traverse Pie. It was very tart, juicy and fizzy from the accompanying raspberry. It’s also later accompanied by this nice woodiness. The best way to explain it was that I smelled like a juicy cherry soaked slab of wood. After 1-2 hours, the cherry disappears and there’s this hairspray like fluffiness (what I imagine a cloud would smell like), which I initially thought was my hair since I got it done the same day. I believe it may have been the mimosa and vanilla. I didn’t smell the perfume after ~3 hours. When I put on my hoodie, the cuff grazed my wrists, and it “refreshed” the woody cherry smell on my wrists. I’d love to buy a full bottle, but now I’m peeved since they got rid of the notes and I’m afraid it won’t smell the same.

On my skin, this smells almost exactly like a better blended and longer lasting version of Guess Seductive Red. Opens with the same cherry note (Lost Cherry has the same opening as well), and dry down is almost identical. Very strong cherry note in the beginning (1-3 hours) that slowly settles into a woody, almost smoky scent on me. The cherry note does stay around, but mellows. After around 8 hours, it disappears. I'd say this is a perfume better for cooler weather. The first time I wore this was on a 80+ degree day and it did get to be too much. Lately where I live has had a few 60ish degree days, and I haven't had the same issues while wearing this. Perfect for fall and winter. I believe its truly a unisex perfume, as it does have a masculine quality to it. I can easily see my husband wearing this in the winter while wearing flannel. If you enjoy Guess Seductive Red, but hate the longevity, this is an easy buy. If you are looking for a Lost Cherry dupe, Id say look elsewhere (Fine'ry makes a good one). If you just really enjoy cherry frags like I do, than buy it. Its very good.

i am so obsessed with this scent. it has everything I want in a perfume, sweetness, but some woodiness to it which makes it more mature. if you love berry scents that aren't just pure sweetness this is for you. It starts off with a very juicy, sweet, creamy cherry scent with a touch of the woodsy note that borderlines on juvenile, but then quickly settles down into a more mature, woodsy, leathery more masculine scent, but the cherry is still there and so is the creaminess from the vanilla so still leans feminine for me. I would say it is a solid winter/fall scent that good for day or night. i will wear it with jeans and a sweater but also would wear it out on a date night. It leans as a cozy scent for yourself, but I also interpret something sexy, seductive, and intriguing for your date. this scent stayed on my clothes for days and on my skin for the whole day 8 hours plus, but it's not too strong and overpowering, not too much sillage with this scent.

I didn't like this initially, but it grew on me. I would love to smell this on a man, imo it's an attractive scent for a guy, but I like it on myself as well. Opening = chocolate covered cherries. It dries into a woody, slightly masculine scent on me, but I like that vibe. I did one or two sprays on a shirt yesterday, went to put the shirt on today and it was still going fairly strong, so good longevity as far as I can tell. Haven't done a full day with it on my skin so TBD. I don't smell the medicinal or artificial cherry vibe that other reviewers have posted, really I only get the strong cherry smell as an opening note.

I tested this at Ulta this morning, and definitely got that cigarette ash smokiness on initial application. Surprisingly, it didn't offend me the way some other fragrances have, and that ashy smokiness disappeared within like 5 minutes at the very most. The sweetness from the cherry lasted though, along with the warmth of the vanilla. I didnt spray much, but I can still smell it on my wrist almost 12 hours later, even after a work out, errands, and a long shower. I can't speak to it's sillage yet, but I ended up loving how it smells and transforms on my skin. I'm almost definitely gonna buy this.

I pray to the heavens that Snif will put this scent in their permanent collection rather than a limited edition fragrance. I'm not much of a fruity/sweet perfume person and this scent ticks all my boxes. It does open with a pretty gnarly artificial cherry note but dries down quickly into lovely earthy (almost like dirt but in a good way), woodsy (tree bark), and lightly sweet, true cherry. To me, it smells exactly like the pages of a new book. Personally, I like the packaging a lot. The bottle feels sturdy and the cap makes an awesome magnetic clicking sound when you close it (so satisfying).

When I first bought this, I could barely smell anything and considered sending it back. However, it’s been sitting on my shelf for about a year. I’m wearing it right now, and here are my thoughts: This opens with a juicy sour/tart cherry scent. As it dries down, it becomes more floral and vanillac for awhile. Finally, it settles into something quite lipsticky and a little bit smoky. As others have stated, there’s no way there’s not iris in this fragrance. Overall, I find it quite pleasant, although I can understand why it just doesn’t jibe with a lot of people.

Obsessed with this - my go-to night out or date night perfume. My go to description was if Cherry Garcia ice cream was made by a jazz bar. I also love that it can stick around - I wore it to visit someone I was dating before I went out of town for a bit and he told me he had to put the pillow I'd slept on the other side of the room because they could still smell cherries on it and couldn't sleep because every time he smelled it he would miss me too much to sleep. So glowing endorsement from me and that man!

Still on the hunt for cherry fragrances, and I’ve landed on Tart Deco. I love this scent. It combines very well with my skin, and eight hours later I can still smell it. The first spray is like a bite of smoky cherry, with a hint of cigarette (probably from the orris) and as it settles the sweetness comes through. I don’t get raspberry from it, nor your standard vanilla. The vetiver helps the cherry smell a bit more synthetic, which I really like. I’m definitely buying a full bottle.

yesterday i was staying after my club meeting and two girls were sniffing around because they wanted to know who smelled good. they suddenly went to sniff my neck and aha! culprit caught cherry-handed! it is such a delicious smell that reminds me of a homemade cherry pie you get from your local grocery store, and the amount of compliments i get straight up now from it is insane. such a great fall scent to put in your collection!

Smells almost identical to Not Another Cherry by Finery. I sprayed this on a scarf and it lasted the entire day however which was better performance than I expected. I love Cherry frags and this is really good, but it does make me sneeze at first spray lol. I would prefer a little more fruity cherry in the dry down as the dry down on me goes powdery vanilla with cherry.

Almond, almond, almond, almond. How is there not an almond note? I know cherry and almond supposedly have the same scent and flavor compounds but I've tried many cherry fragrances before and this one smells way different. On my skin it is 100% like an almond-scented lotion, nothing like Cherry Punk or Lovefest which smell like maraschino cherries. I love it tho

I LOVE this fragrance. I bought it for my best friend for her birthday and she ran though a full bottle within a couple months and re purchased and made me buy my own full size bottle. As we call it its crack cocaine. addictive and incredible

My friend at work wears this, and on him it reminds me of cherry pipe tobacco which I love the scent of. Signature scent worthy, and interesting enough to stand out from the crowd. Haven’t smelled it on a woman, but it sure works for a man.

I am absolutely loving this. Giving me TF Lost Cherry vibes but definetly not a dupe. Scent all on its on. First spray and I was sold. Nice warm black cherry smell into a comforting vanilla hug. New Fav.

Very cherry, dries down to woody. Started with BBW 2024 Sweet Heart Cherry shower gel, body cream, and mist. Topped with a few sprays of Tart Deco. This combo was long lasting and received compliments!

Love this fragrance. I get compliments every time I wear it! People definitely pick up on the cherry but also an earthiness, almost tobacco scent. I’ve been wearing this almost every day this winter

BETTER QUALITY than Tom Ford. This is an absolutely beautiful cherry almond perfume that lasts so much longer than Lost Cherry. The price is amazing for the quality that you get. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the perfect cherry to me. Not too synthetic or too woody like lovefest burning cherry wasn't my fav.. Its not too strong settles nicely on the skin
