Way with Woods

At first smell this reminded me of the store Gilly Hicks and being in high school... probably the sandalwood. Though after a few wears with the tester I fell in love. This is a very gender neutral scent, I am very picky with more "masculine" scents and this feels like one of the more "masculine" ones in my collection. That being said I still feel comfortable wearing this with a sun dress! This is very citrus-tea forward, recently I discovered I loved tea scents and I am already a big citrus fan so my obsession makes sense. I really enjoy layering this with Riddle Oil's Ex (a green citrusy perfume oil). I'm almost 1/2 way through the bottle and I know I will repurchase.

I bought the mini size of this fragrance and really wish I had bought the full bottle instead before they sold out. It’s such a gorgeous scent that’s fresh and woody with a hint of citrus. I’m used to a lot of wood-forward scents also smelling leathery and/or burnt, but this is nothing of that sort. This is very refreshing and cozy. I absolutely love it! Interesting discovery: I found out today that my cat loves this perfume. He climbed up on me to sniff it and rub his little chin on it. He’s usually very indifferent about fragrances, but he’s obsessed with this one and Delina by PdM.

To those disappointed they didn't get a full size before they sold out on the site: check Ulta's site!! There are still some left (of which I QUICKLY snagged a bottle). This is such a versatile, everyday scent. Easiest reach. One of those scents I overlook until I realize I've used it every day in the past week. Leans masculine, but that's not a problem for me. I think this shines brightest in the summer heat, personally, but it's got the sillage and adaptability for any season. Nicely balanced, for sure.

Really good. It does have some mild pickley undertones on me personally, as sandalwood scents unfortunately have the habit of doing, but the greenness of the tea and freshness of the citrus cut through and mask it decently. Very green, pleasantly musky, maybe not so woody as advertised but a solid easy wear nonetheless.

I found this scent to be light and lovely. I got hints of green, tea, orange and light wood that lasted for hours. Super affordable daily wear.

Not what I was expecting. This is a bright springy/summer scent and without looking at the notes, I initially smelled a bergamot/neroli bright blast that smelled a little green. Once it settles, the bergamot/neroli combination still feels overwhelmingly present but I get a subtle pear undernote, almost as if someone had squeezed fresh lime juice onto a juicy pear. It's a juicy scent. I was surprised the title was "way with woods" because I don't get the wood at all. The cedar to me is not enough of a woody scent to validate the name. Once I looked at the notes, I am surprised there is sandalwood as my skin despises sandalwood and I didn't recognize it. I can now understand how the the sandalwood and tea scent mixes with bright mandarin with a cedar trailing tail to make this scent, but all of these notes combine into what a juicy bergamot/neroli/pear also combine into. Maybe it's alchemy. But it's absolutely not a woody scent, nor is it my favorite. It's too green and juicy for my liking.

Not my favorite. I gave my bottle to a friend and she uses it as her "cozy" fragrance. It's a huge blast of wood and I don't get the tea in this, which would have really reigned it in for me. That tinge of orange just barely slips past. Smells quite synthetic and leaves me a little queasy, but I understand why one would enjoy this.

I've been pretty uninspired with the scents I've tried. This one is no exception. There is something a little similar to Berg 22 to me (but maybe mixed with citrus and tea notes). It kind of feels like the middle ground between Bergamote 22 and Atelier Orange Sanguine but satiates neither craving.

Smells like walking through the woods in fall. It's just an ok scent and there are much better options if you're looking for that kind of scent. Only upside is the price.

I'm a self-proclaimed sandalwood connoisseur and was so, so excited to try this one out. I'm not sure if it's just how my skin is reacting with this scent but I get all green notes and almost no woods at all : ( If anything within seconds of settling down I smell like a generic fragrance sample you would find inserted in the middle of a magazine. If you usually hate sandalwood, this might actually be a great scent for you since it seems to disguise it inside of the more green notes, but if you're looking for something classically woody I would pass!

I bought a sample off Mercari. Idk if it's fake or what but I'm not getting any green notes or tea. Just woods and it's very faint.

(See my update!) I am really starting to like this house, but that being said there are a few misses and this is one of them for me. First few seconds a blast of beautiful white tea and tiny bit of orange spritz, then during dry down I smell something like coriander? What is that? I think it has disappeared, but at moments I still get a little bit of orange and coriander or whatever that is. If the first 5 seconds remained, I would definitely get a full bottle, but unfortunately it's just oddly popping up from time to time and otherwise ghosting. Not for me. In favor of this scent and the others from Snif though, they all smell very natural to me and all have qualities I do like, so I can't hate. Edit: I decided to test this again, this time with my son. I am not sure if the juice just needed time or that I saw it in a new perspective, but the unpleasant notes don't seem to pop up so much anymore and he's chosen it to wear to a special occasion which I think will be great for him and won't choke anyone out. I may get him a fb. It's a solid light, woody orange scent for him.

I really like this scent! It’s extremely versatile and I personally find it grounding and happy. I’m not a beast mode fragrance person but unless you spray a lot it’s a very nose to wrist to smell it. Also fades pretty quickly. I have a few Snif scent travel sprays but this one performs the poorest I want a solid dupe because I love the smell.

One of my favorites! So easy to wear on the daily, very inoffensive. Unisex, soft. The amber and vetiver stick out to me. But everything is so gentle and smooth. Well balanced. Will buy the full size when my 10mL runs out

Very green and fresh. Reminds me of a “sport” type fragrance from my childhood in the 90’s. That said, it’s kind of fun in a “showered at my boyfriend’s house” kind of way.

This reminds me of a few of the citrus focused 4711 fragrances.
