Tempting Paradise

I loved Sofia’s perfume and decided to purchase this one after sampling it at the mall. It’s the perfect summer fragrance , my partner likes it more than Sofia! It’s definitely more fruity and it’s not overpowering. I like how it smells clean. This does not last long but I found i was still able to smell it on my skin up to my nose throughout the day. I’d recommend this for a perfume to wear during the day or in the warmer months

I have to say, I quite enjoy this. Just bought it for my mom and she loves it too. It came with the rollerball and lotion at Burlington. You get alcohol scent at first because it is a cheaper scent. But when that fades away, you get a nice warm coconut scent. This is very beautiful. And this actually lingers a little bit on my skin. I’d say give it a try if you find it discounted. It’s inexpensive and smells nice.

Pick this is a blind buy and it’s really nice you can smell a lot of tropical fruits it isn’t long lasting and I wish it was more it last’s about two hours for me. I still love the smell and I would get it Again after I brought for such a cheap price 🙈

I love Jlo’s Liveluxe so it’s no surprise that i love this too. And yes i do agree they somewhat smell similar. Both having that juicy tropical fruity vibe that i find so addicting. This is another successful blind buy for me! Yay😃

It's very similar to J.Lo Live Luxe, however the later has more pronounced pineapple tone. Love the design of the box and the persimmon color juice. It's perfect for warm daytime and balmy nights

Did I really pay for the pretty box y'all? 😂😅 ... I am into crafts so I'll be repurposing this box. Lol. I love the bottle shape too cuz it adds feminine goddess energy to my altar. And the color of the juice is richer than shown here, and beautiful. As for what it SMELLS LIKE... It's a more FRESH fruity floral than a "candy sweet" one. There is something a little bit harsh in it at first. The dry down is not bad. It's cute. It's ok. I'm sure I've smelled something else very similar. I remember sampling this in store, a few years ago. My nose for perfumes wasn't as sophisticated then, but I remember liking it. Now that I smell it again, I'm like "THIS was ITTTT?????" 😅 I love Sofia Vergara, and at least I can tune into her vibes when I use her hourglass-bottled, tropical perfume 🤷🏽 Update: This perfume is starting to grow on me. I find it more charming than just a good "tropical waterfall" laundry detergent, and a luxurious fabric softener. It's nice for very casual. But I got a little daring and combined it with Jennifer Lopez "Still". ("Still" is a good fragrance on it's own, with it's own complexity.) Together they made a particularly more exciting fragrance, that I said smelled like Woman on 1,000! To use these together in small amount so it's not too overpowering, smells beautiful and I can imagine Cameron Diaz in "The Mask" smelling like this when she walked into the bank. Especially when Stanley's friend sniffed her jacket. LOL

So far, I have Sofia, Love, Lost in Paradise (not a fan), and recently got Tempting Paradise. Describing this scent as "juicy" is spot-on. It's inoffensive-- fruity, soft, pretty much an everyday fragrance. As others have mentioned, I can smell the pineapple and orange more than anything else, but they're well done. Sandalwood is one of my top favorite notes, but I don't quite pick up on it in this fragrance. The floral fruits take over. The coconut is not overpowering. It's well balanced with all the other notes leaving a bright, clean, tastefully sweet dry down. I can see myself wearing this year-round since I sometimes need pick-me-up fragrances during the cold winter months, but I think most people would prefer to use this during the Spring when the sun's finally coming out or summer and fall months. Less is better with this fragrance. Using a heavy hand may induce headaches either for you, but definitely for others who may not care for this type of fragrance. With a light hand, you'll leave a clean, tropical scent that many will appreciate. Sillage is decent/moderate. Longevity is weak. Either buy a small enough bottle that you can carry in your bag so you can re-apply at some point during the day, or purchase an atomizer. If you're looking for something fun, sweet, flirty, and summery to wear, this is a good choice and a safe blind buy. If you'd prefer more mature scents, go for her Sofia and definitely Love.

Very nice tropical summer scent. Not extremely different, but hey sometimes you just want to smell kind of " fruity" good in a feminine way. I did not like Sofia or Sofia Love, waaay too sweet a la La Vie eat Belle. This is a bit sweet but not sugar overkill. The sillage is moderate which is how I like it best. The dry down is a bit more perfume but still nice. I like the bottle too. Recommend it because its not expensive and its something most people will like.

For the price this isn’t bad. It smells like what it is, a cheap celebrity fragrance. It’s slightly tropical, mostly fruity. No lasting power..That being said, it’s good for the high heat and humidity. The days where you’re going to the beach or running errands. The no thinking just spray it on days. It also is an ok right outta the shower scent, it has a clean feel. By the time you put your real fragrance on, it’ll be gone anyway.

A cheap blind buy that turned out better than expected. A typical screaming fruity floral that settled quickly to a little guava over a load of coconut. Generic, yes, but pleasant and the price is right.

Normally I like sugary gourmand fragrances, but those don’t mix with heat in the summertime. This is my go-to, especially on a hot evening right after I’ve taken a shower. This is tropical punch, fresh and fruity and very bright. There’s a bit of woods in the background. I love the clean feeling I get when I spray this. Longevity is nil—must overspray to detect it but at this price, it’s fine.

I kept hearing and reading about how luscious and tropical this was and I just don't get it. I'm glad I picked up up fairly cheaply because it does indeed smell a bit cheap to me, a bit like floral Tang. It's not unpleasant, but it's not what I want to smell like. I use it to make my bathroom smell nice.

Someone buy this off me or exchange please! I bought this based off a test strip but after wearing it I do not like how it smells on me. I bought this one and Lost in Paradise both brand new 100% full minus a few sprays.

So boring, doesn't last. If you ask me what it smells like, I cannot remember 5 minutes after smelling it. I was excited for this because I love a tropical scent but this is so incredibly mediocre.

The bottle is nice, but generic. Amongst my collection, the bottle doesn’t really stand out. The quality of the box is quite nice and leans towards a high end feel. I do love the flowered graphic. I think I enjoy looking at the box more then the bottle. The perfume it’s self is a little heavily dyed for my tastes and is quite dark. The scent I was disappointed in. By the name and list of notes, I thought it would be a fresher & fruitier smell. I can’t say it’s not a nice scent, however not what I expected. The top note dose have a fruity scent, but it’s mild. Think watered down fruit punch juice. At First the scent isn’t bad, but as it settles, the base note has a lovely light powdery smell & what is to me, a sharp pungent odour. Every time I catch a whiff, my first thought is “oh it is pretty” then a second later “no, no it’s not.” This is just my personal opinion, I can see why others would wear it. It’s not horrible, just not what I would reach for daily. I will give it another try eventually. It also has no longevity. I’m pretty reasonable. I only give these moderate eau de parfumes, 2 maybe 3 hours of scent life. This didn’t last an hour. The scent was nearly completely gone, which for me wasn’t so bad. For someone who likes this perfume, it would be a huge draw back. Not happy, or upset with this choice, at the very least it’s another to add to my collection.

I definitely get the clementine, peony and musk. So sad! All the notes I wanted didn’t come across. Like I really wanted a creamy smooth coconut milk note but nope, I didn’t get that at all!! This is a generic fruity floral. Smells almost cheap at times! I do get pineapple at times. And then it reminds me of pineapple upside down cake. Wtf is wrong with my nose lol? Anyways I only wear this on my dance practice days, bc literally nobody cares to smell what perfume I have on and bc I’m going to sweat enough to purge this perfume right off 😂 Longevity is really bad y’all! It doesn’t even last an hour. Not even on my clothes 😬

I blind bought this because of how delicious the notes sounded (I love tropical fragrances). When it arrived I adored the box and bottle but ended up giving it away after trying it a few times. So uninspired and weak, definitely disappears after 5 minutes. I was reminded of this scent when I tried Marc Jacobs Daisy Wild. Daisy Wild had the most delicious exuberant strong and addictive opening but then dried down so quickly to smell exactly like Tempting Paradise. This was not a good scent memory! Like other reviewers said it isn't bad per se but is probably the blandest perfume I can think of smelling!

Picked this up at Burlington for $10. Was hoping to get tropical fruits throughout but quickly it turned into a green perfume. I hate green notes in perfumes, this one has the same green/fresh as in Live Luxe and Paris Hilton Original. I have tried 2 of her other perfumes and I love them. But this one was a disappointment.

I love Sofia Vergara, I think she is hilarious and a breadth of fresh air, like someone who would be fun at a dinner party. Unfortunately this perfume is a fruity mediocre nothing burger, gone in a flash. I decided to wear it today and 10 minutes after spraying I forgot that I put on perfume.

Generic fruity fragrance that reminds me of shampoo and fades within minutes. I feel like I've smelled it a thousand times before. It doesn't scream tropical nor do I detect any coconut. Disappointing and completely forgettable.

I was hoping for something sweeter and more lusciously fruity from this, but it just smells like a nice generic spray.

The opening is great it smells fresh, SUPER fruity I didn't like the ending, it smell like cheap musc. Lasting is superb for a $12 perfume I sprayed it 4 times and 3 hours later someone at a grocery store said something to me about it [so they could smell it] unfortunately I don't know what she said! [good or bad?] because I was wearing earphones. The person also smelled it from far away as they started saying something as they walked then when they reached me I heard "Oh, I think it's you" but don't know if she liked it!!! or not. Anyhow, since I don't like the ending [cheap musc smell] and apparently it's quite strong it's not something I would wear around people because if it's light and not intrusive the fruity part is OK but since it smells so strong I'm afraid I smell like a big cheap fruity cocktail..... I do have to say, I do spray it every day since i got the bottle.... so I definitely like the smell! I do it mainly to smell the entrance when I'm at home... innocent girly fruity smells lift me up..

This is a very pretty perfume. Filled with connotations of passion and romance that is really quite tropical. The thing is I am not often into fruity floral, woodsy musky fragrances. I think it is really overdone by the starlet population of our world and many of them make me feel like saying, "yawn...another one." It is well done though! Come to think of it, reminds me of one of Marc Jacobs "Dot" numbers, which is quite tutti-fruity as well. If I were to compare these I would chose Versace "Eros" as one of the better ones. However, "Tempting Paradise" is quite acceptable and suitable for the woman with more mature tastes in this category. Congratulations to all who own and love it.

Just got this based on positive reviews. Love the smell reminds me of Mariah Carey's Honey but a bit less sharp. However, zero lasting power and projection. I give up with celeb perfumes they smell nice on my skin without turning musty like designer ones do but I have literally had to keep spraying this every hour just to smell the faintest smell so annoying otherwise it would be perfect. I know people say its cheap so just re-spray but it builds up an oily residue on the skin on my neck and just feels greasy.

I love this! Not as fruity on me as I would have thought, especially with the comparison to Rockin Rio(which it is not like at all really). The orange-iness of it was more reminiscent of I Love Love Moschino, but a night time version of that. Because the benzoin and musk definitely give it a sexier, more perfumey feel on the skin. Although, it was much more straight orange on my friend's arm than mine. On her it smelled like fresh squeezed morning juice.

This perfume smells like you have both a mandarin orange cup and a pineapple fruit cup sitting in front of you, mixed with a breeze of coconut freshness and guava flowers in the air. It's simple, it's young, it's sweet, it's summery. If you know you love fruity & tropical, you will love this. I promise! May not be for someone who loves floral or 'mature' scents. I personally love it! Very happy to have it.

I was most most tempted to buy the bottle... nice and nothing offensive, on the sweet tropical side. You can imagine this as a mixed drink of some sort. I smell the budda and pineapple rather than coconut. I found it a bit too fruity on me and gave it to a lady at work. She was wearing it today and I liked it better on her than on me.

Just picked the bottle of body spray of this from Stein Mart. I was very pleased when I opened the bottle to get a whiff of this. It smells so tropical but nature at the same time. Defiantly a summer scent, so I will most likely be wearing this exotic scent this summer quite often. For 10 bucks what can I say cheers.

There’s something screechy in the dry down; just like detergent. I don’t think this is worth the while. It also has a normal, generic fruity scent. But the dry down is so cheap smelling. If anything, it can be an after shower scent due to it’s poor performance as well.

I agree with below review, nothing extremely unique but fun and all around pleasant. I got a bottle from my sister who said it was " too fruity" lol remember that Seinfeld episode about Snapple?! But not for me, i might wear it to work or in warmer weather.

Hoping for better luck with this one. The original tempting makes me extremely sick to my stomach unfortunately. I think it’s the pineapple in the original tempting that doesn’t work for me. Haven’t smelled this one yet but I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

This is all fruit with a bit of coconut milkyness. Reminds me of Nikki Minaj Onika. Tropical fruity goodness and nothing else. Very soft, light. inoffensive. For the price I enjoy it but Sofia's others like Love perform much better.

I didn't like her original fragrance Tempting. I blind bought it because I like SF fragrances. I gave the giftset to my mother who likes it better than I do. I won't be sucked in by it twice. I will definitely pass on this one.

smells yummy but doesn't last... live luxe Jlo is better performance wise, IMO and they are very similar..

Tropical, sweet. Fruity. Very basic. Smelled this a million times before.
