Tempting

I blind bought this at Kohls. It was in a gift set for next to nothing! So I figured hey if I hate it I can gift it. I actually really like it. For a smaller bottle I will probably shred through it easy. I find myself wanting to wear it again. Very clean sharp scent. It lasted on me I'd say a good 10 hours. Where I could actually smell it. Strong the first 3 hours. Close silage to the skin and body and holds to clothes well. It reminded me in the middle tones of Britney Spears' "Believe" which is a heavy patchouli scent with fresh greens and some lemon. This has that greens and fruit scent. But there is a floral top note that really permits the longevity of the soft floral freshness. I noticed when it was drying down and dying off me in late 8-10 hour wear it smelled kind of warm amber/vanilla ish. So for a cheap by it wore wonderfully and chemistry for me as a male was complex. Not a bad blind buy for how complex it boasted and the enjoyable smell!

I agree with previous reviewers that this has a pineapple cocktail in a hot nightclub during the summer kinda vibe. It very refreshing and very summery but also it has a sexy vibe, which makes me think of nighttime appropriate. The pineapple and alcoholic drink dominance makes me think of nightclub because it feels young and sexy. I don't see this as a tropical fragrance just a summery fragrance if that makes any sense... I think it lasts a pretty decent amount of time if applied liberally like I do with all of my celeb/Cheapies. I am happy to add this to my summer wardrobe cause I was previously getting my pineapple fix with Jlo Live which is mostly pineapple upside down cake and completely misses the mark when I'm looking for something refreshing.

From NYC: My friend and I decided to go to the Duane Reade at lunch today. I saw the gift set of this for $20.00 out with other holiday sets. It was the LAST one - so I grabbed it! I had read reviews on this and smelled a swatch of it in a magazine and was intrigued. Well, we came back to work and took it out right away to put it on and it's so BEAUTIFUL!! So light and fresh and it so gives a happy-skip-in-the-day feeling :) We both, in our opinions, don't smell the vanilla, but more of the floral notes and the pineapple; in such a good yummy way! Actually, totally reminds me of Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet on me but without the cost. I would recommend this for any age and for day or night!

I absolutely love this perfume! I’m on my 2nd bottle of this and will get another lol For a fruity floral it’s definitely more fruity. After applying this I get the pineapple/vanilla/jasmine notes but as the day goes on I’ll smell the different scent notes wich I enjoy....it’s like it’s constantly changing and it keeps on smelling good! I like wearing this year round. I do notice in fall and winter the base notes tend to come through more. Another plus is that this one for me is a huge compliment getter if I’m out somewhere. Longevity and silage are both moderate for me.

That initial blast of pineapple is enough to keep me refreshing this throughout the day. Then the florals join the party and it is delightful. I will say that the first day I tried it I sprayed my skin. It turned woody pretty quickly and I didn't love it. The next day I sprayed my clothes and I LOVED IT! The pineapple stuck around a lot longer and I kept fanning my top so I could get another whiff of it. Lovely. And an awesome deal. $13 at Burlington for 100ml. Although, I will add that its longevity is not as good as Sofia Vergara's other fragrances.

I finally got around to trying this fragrance yesterday. I blind bought it because I love Sofia's other 2 scents. I absolutely love it! The first reaction I had was that it made me feel happy. Sounds weird, but it is true! I think the pineapple is blended well with the other notes. I bought this at Perfumania. Another winner from Sofia!

I don't go by the notes listed in the ad. ad. blind bought it. To me this was a Burst of pineapple mixed with "that note that is in the drydown of Antonio Banderas blue Seduction for men. I would say it is fresh I guess. I'll defntly be wearing it but I'm not crazy about it. All in all it is better than Love but not better than Sofia first perfume. Yet I feel it's unique and safe scent. Maybe it will grow on me. I'm glad it's not a candy vanilla factory like most celeb fragrances. UPDATE: after wearing this for a week I fallen for it. It's something new. The use of fresh pineapple, then it dries down to a strange "your own skin" serene sandalwood pretty smell. It is different and not offensive. Sofia redeemed herself as I thought Love was too candyish sweet. Sofia Vergara Sofia was a masterpiece for me. & With Tempting Sofia will be headed back to the Fifi Awards.

Have you ever smelled JLO's fragrance "Deseo?" If you have...there's no need for this. Is the fragrance itself good?? Yes. Beautiful as a matter of fact. But loses half of it's points on lack of originality and copying another fragrance that's been on the market for years. Poor JLO hahaha. First she has Nicki Minaj BLATANTLY duplicate Miami Glow with her hideous Pinkprint bottle lol. What is it with celebrities remaking JLO's creations in hideous bottles? First Nicki...and now Sofia. This fragrance is literally JLO's Deseo in an uglier bottle. Very summery. It's a very woody smelling fragrance with a lot of pineapple. It's gorgeous. But JLO's been here, done that already. And again...Deseo's bottle is MUCH prettier than this weird one. C'mon Sofia! Seriously with this??

Wow. I am in shock and so glad I ordered this. It is literally one of the nicest perfumes I ever smelled. I never expected it to be this good. It's smells sexy as hell and expensive. Like a high end perfume and a good one! I love this so much. I hope it never gets discontinued though I better stock up! To give an idea of what it smells like is hard maybe like Deseo but a lot nicer. 10/10

I was really hoping to get the pineapple 🍍 note. Alas, mostly dry sandalwood (thankfully no pickle note) plus light musk and vanilla. If you like a light, non-offensive summer office-friendly perfume (about arm’s length sillage) or a wear to bed perfume, this is for you. I got it for a great deal (less than 15 USD), but I’m not going to be heartbroken and buy another when it’s used up.

I am fast becoming a fan of Sofia Vergara's perfumes. I have Sofia and Love Sofia fragrance mists. Found a gift set at Kohl's today and it's a lovely tropical floral scent. I smell the Pineapple, Star Jasmine, and Sandalwood. If you like Escada's tropical scents, you'll enjoy this one, too.

It's really nice, you get a hint of the tropical but fades pretty fast leaving you with the powdery musk smell before that dissipates too. I like it but the body spray doesn't seem to sit on the skin/clothes for too long. Maybe the perfume has a longer wear time?

Reading reviews I was afraid to open this one., But it is really cool one. Light, fruity, and a bit sweet. Not heavy at all, but feminine, doesn't remind me of anything I smelt before. It lasts ok, 3 hours.

I'm glad a couple other people mentioned patchouli because I was starting to doubt my own nose. On me, there is definitely a prominent patch note, making Tempting present as a fruitchouli. It's not a bad fragrance at all, but not really my cuppa. Once I used up the lotion that came with the set, I passed it on.

this is alot more mature of a tropical scent than im used to, theres a slight aquatic vibe, and its very perfumey, much more for going out at night in summer

This juice is amazing!!! Absolutely sexy, tempting and mature. Tempting is like the mature big sister to Escada fragrances. It manages to have a truly authentic fresh pineapple smell with a nice fresh undertone of white flowers blowing in the wind. When I wear this I just imagine myself in Jamaica on the beach on a hot hot day eating pineapples. It is slightly sweet but not even close to that sugary cotton candy sweet you get from a lot of celeb scent. This is truly stunning. It is also very reminiscent of jimmy choo flash but I much prefer this. Sofia Vergara really knows what she is doing when it comes to perfumes. I have all her fragrances and love almost all of them! Update: I really hate to say it but this has become a scrubber for me. After the first couple hours of wearing it I start to feel really sick. I've tried it 3 times and have had this experience all 3 time. I hate that this is happening because I do like the scent but for some reason my body isn't happy with this one : (

I own Sofias first perfume and her second one Love. I absolutely LOVE both of those and can't recommend them enough. They smell expensive, classy and last really well. This one I just can't even like! It's weak, smells like a weird pineapple and is gone on my skin so fast. Sorry but this for me is a fail but I strongly suggest trying her first two as they are amazing!

I got this in a swap and thought I would love it based on the notes. I have sofia and I've heard that love is fantastic so I thought I couldn't go wrong. This definitely isn't a bad fragrance but I feel like it doesn't smell like anything. If I can't find someone to swap I will probably use for layering. Very low sillage and longevity.

This one smells like something my mom used to wear when I was little. It starts with a beautiful pineapple blast that lasts for 15 seconds and then it turns pretty masculine. Then after an hour it dries down to something kind of retro. Not bad, but not my cup of tea.

I’ve tried three of Sofia’s perfumes and love the other two but this one was repulsing to me , maybe it’s just my body chemistry. It gave me the worst headache it was so strong . Initially it reminded me of tempting in paradise, a clean ,fruity scent; after about 30 minutes it was such a strong powdery odor. It reminded me of granny perfume that is so overpowering it gives you a migraine. Not my cuppa :/
