Cleopatra

Wonderfully uplifting scent. The citrus note is bright and vibrant. As promised, it lasts longer than most other citrus fragrances. It’s not overly sweet and the floral notes are a balanced background to the orange. It evolves throughout the day to a soft white floral with a hint of citrus and stays lovely from start to finish. Because of the strength, you can easily wear this in cooler temperatures.

This is nice. Not quite what I thought it was going to be judging the notes listed. I was hoping for more of the creamsicle, gelato creamy sweetness, but it’s mainly jasmine and tuberose with a slight hint of orange. It calms down after 2-3 hrs and the scent is a lovely feminine scent. Just be prepared that gelato, this is not.

Today I’m wearing CLEOPATRA, and my dear fragrant friends, allow me to tell you that I’ve found the ultimate orange/clementine/orange blossom perfume for life. She’s pure indulgence, confidence and power, just like the Egyptian queen of the Ptolemaic Dynasty period who gave her name (and power) to the fragrance. I don’t know where to start with, because I’m speechless... Okay, I’ll begin saying that she’s utterly powerful and long-lasting considering she’s a citrusy scent. This sparkling orange that fill your senses and makes you so happy at first spray, stays, against all the expectations that tell you: ‘enjoy it now, because it will fade soon’. No, Cleopatra manages to keep gifting you with an incredible orange bliss during the entire experience, losing the initial sharpness quickly to become a delicious orange gelato. And I can’t be happier. The flowers dance quietly in the background, especially the orange blossom and neroli, which, by the way, was one of the favourite smells of the queen of Egypt. Despite you can use it all the year around, for me it’s more of a spring and summer fragrance, beautifully uplifting and fresh, but intense at the same time. And she’s mine, she’s on my hands and I don’t think it will last long with me, no because I’ll get rid of it, but because it’s one of those perfumes I won’t be able to stop reaching to over and over again this summer... I completely fell for Cleopatra. Addictive, intense, captivating...

I didn't like it, just tolerated. I bought 15 ml automizer and appreciate the bottle more than the scent itself! Already thinking what I will refill it with after getting rid of this liquid. It smells generic, similar to a lot of other citrus+white florals due to chemical dusty feeling common for citrus scents when their creators try to make them last longer. The citrus opening is indeed very sharp, overall the fragrance doesn't smell natural. Neroli Botanica from Essential Parfums smells very natural compared to this. Cleopatra is not necessary in your collection if you already have or don't like Aqua Allegoria Mandarin Basil Forte EDP version, Charlotte Tilbury Joyphoria etc. Expected much more from it. 4-5 out of 10 max

I just got my sample, which I was really looking forward to as I love Empress. This is a very strong citrus perfume, quite sharp- it's difficult to find citruses with lasting power, and this one does last, but the downside is that the citrus is so strong that it's hard to smell anything else. After a good 2-3 hrs it begins to soften and there are hints of flowers, but sadly I can't detect any other notes, and I say hints of flowers because I can't smell orange blossom or jasmine- just something faintly and vaguely floral. For reference, Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria Orange Soleia and Dior's Escale a Portofino are citrus fragrances I enjoy. I find them better blended, more complex, balanced and elegant.

Absolutely beauty of a perfume. It lasts such a long time and is unlike anything else I’ve ever smelt. You definitely get a strong whiff of all the notes listed. It’s groundbreaking and brave making a perfume like this in current times when everyone wants a soft skin scent, if your looking for that, this isn’t it, it’s strong and you can smell it. Reminds me of an orange ice cream you’d buy when walking along the beach in the sun. Wonderful to smell a perfume like this again! Keep them coming Sophie as I’ll be your loyal customer forever! X

Exactly what Cleopatra would have worn had she performed in an Italian 50's film instead of ruling in Egypt or have I lost it? This reminds me of European Mediterranean perfumes and it's really light lovely scent. Sun kissed orange in a light lazy way with plenty of greens in the background. I might keep this around endlessly for Summer. It makes me smile - a retro melancholy sultry smile.

I had way more expectations...smells like paradox,sublime epoque from zara and kinda like libre...just any other orange blossom perfume yk...i expected more i did expected sweetness that is sugar like i also expected it to be more woody but it's generic....I'll update on the longevity as i sprayed it a while ago..i donno...

I feel this could have been better. I love the Gelato smell, its defly real. But for the cost, the bottle feels cheap, maybe from the paint? I am not a fan of the bottle and the title font. It literally looks like it's fading in the lettering. I think it lasts about 6 hours on my clothes, maybe 1 hour on skin.

I am a huge fan of Sophie King(Soki) and I cannot wait to try out a Sample of her new perfume, Cleopatra. The notes sound just perfect to me.

Oh I need to get my snozzer on this one!
