So very gourmand and super yummy, but also savory! On me this is a very sweet, creamy, buttery, and decadent caramel, swirled with powdery vanilla, nutty macadamia, and rich white chocolate sprinkled with sea salt and coconut flakes. The caramel reads as both decadent and savory because it’s a thick, rich, gooey, and buttery salted caramel in the best possible way! I even get a bit of that yummy buttered popcorn scent, but it’s blended well so as not to be too prominent, or overwhelming. It definitely leaves my skin smelling incredibly delicious and absolutely edible! I really love this one! This is one that’s definitely for the hardcore gourmand lovers (like myself!)! It’s super sweet and a true straight up gourmand! It’s like the more decadent version of 62. It makes me think of a more decadent, rich, and nutty combination of 62 and 39. I’m a huge fan of SDJ, and own almost all of their fragrances! My favorites are Summer é Amor, 62, 39, 71, 91, 40, Limonada Gelada, Sundays in Rio, 59, and Beijos de Sol. My least favorites are Dança Mística, Aqua Mística, and 68. I’m planning on getting the 2 newest ones by August, and I just cannot wait! To me, 71 feels feminine, and even though it has a slightly youthful vibe, I think it’s suitable for women of any age. I think this works best during fall and winter because of its sweet decadence with a savory touch, it could maybe become cloying in the heat. However, does kind of have a summer-y feel to it, probably from the coconut blossom. It makes sense considering that their brand is “summer in a bottle” along with smelling absolutely delicious. So, I do think that it could work during summer nights too. This feels most fitting for casual occasions, date nights, and work/school. This is like a less beachy, and amped up version of 39/Coco Cabana and 62. You get more of that buttered popcorn vibe topped with salty and buttery caramel, rich and nutty macadamia, sensual and powdery vanilla, decadent white chocolate, savory sea salt, and tropical coconut blossom. I personally do prefer 39 as I enjoy the beachy aspect, but I also really do enjoy 71! I’m a huge fan of SDJ fragrances, and own most of them! My top 5 are Summer è Amor, 62, 39, 40, and a tie between 59 and 71. This is extremely sweet, rich, and decadent, while also being somewhat savory, so I’d recommend it for the hardcore gourmand girlies like myself. Definitely not for those that don’t enjoy straight up edible scents. This feels feminine to me, and even though it has a somewhat youthful vibe (like a lot of SDJ scents), I still think it’s suitable for women of any age (I’m 38 and still enjoy wearing it!). This feels like it works best during the fall and winter because of its sweet decadence and cozy vibe. I could see this possibly becoming cloying in the heat as it’s so sweet and rich. I think this works best for casual occasions, date nights, and possibly work/school. I get good performance with 71, especially considering it’s a mist. The longevity is between moderate and strong as it lasts 6-8 hours on my skin. The projection is at least moderate, as it radiates out at least an arm’s length from me. Oh. My. God!!!! This is absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS. So, I got my package this morning and I paid around £15 for a 90ml spray, and I was so nervous to try it as it has literally all my favorite notes in it. Salted caramel? Coconut? White chocolate? Vanilla? Hell yeah! I am an absolute whore for delicious foodie perfumes. Dammit, I want to smell like a bakery, okay? I was apprehensive because I knew how bitterly disappointed I'd be if I didn't like it, but holy cow, is this stuff DELICIOUS. If you want to smell like the most yummy coconut cake sprinkled with nuts and oozing with warm salted caramel, then this is the body spray for you. Warning! This will make you super hungry! This is everything I wanted Let The Good Times Roll from Lush to be. Strong and delicious caramel notes (without the overwhelming clove) that I can actually distinguish, decadent coconut, smooth and creamy vanilla with a hint of nuts. Ugh. So good. I want to keep spraying over and over. I absolutely love Sol de Janeiro perfumes, and I own Coco Cabana and Brazilian Crush and I get compliments on both of them, especially the latter. I think this one might just be my new favorite. I feel sinful, naughty, playful and down right sexy when I wear this, because I know I smell damn good. I will say, this might not be everyone's cup of tea. It is super sweet and strong, maybe even a little overwhelming to some, so if you get headaches easily, I'd avoid this one. As for me? I love it. I absolutely love it. I literally said "holy cow" when I sprayed it, as it is my gourmand lovers self total wet dream. 10/10 from me.

Definitely better than the 62, both in terms of scent and performance. It lasts quite well for a body mist and has a very decent sillage. It's very gourmand, but I don't consider it a winter fragrance at all. To me, it's easy to wear year-round. I'm not sure whether it's the coconut blossom or the sea salt (the notes listed on the bottle are vanilla, caramel, sea salt, roasted macadamia, white chocolate, tonka bean, and coconut blossom), or perhaps the coumarin from the tonka bean. I don't think it's the macadamia, but I could be wrong. Either way, it almost has a cooling smell on my skin. I probably wouldn't wear it on a scorching summer morning, but for summer evenings or just a normally warm day, around 30°C (86°F), absolutely. It’s a very beautiful buttery, caramel-like, cooling vanilla. It reminds me a bit of Chocolate Greedy by Montale in the dry down, once the orangey opening fades and that buttery chocolatey note takes over, which in turn somewhat reminds me of Petit Beurre biscuits. So I completely understand the comments comparing it to cookies or biscuit yogurt. That said, the cooling, slightly salty touch it leaves behind makes it feel more like a body care product than something I actually want to eat, even though it's 100% gourmand. I haven't tried layering it with other fragrances yet, but it strikes me as a very versatile scent that would pair easily with many different stuff.

this is THE most edible gourmand i've ever smelled. sticky, sugary, syrupy...nutty, warm, toasty...DESSERT. you might get diabetes from smelling it too much. it almost reminds me of that waffle crisp cereal with less maple. this is what i was expecting PHLUR caramel skin to smell like (so when i did finally smell it i was a little disappointed lol). it is VERY STRONG immediately after spraying, and even if it's only one spritz i can't help but cough, but for how yummy it is i consider it a small price to pay. it's fun for layering as well; grounding for a lighter/brighter floral scent or feminizing a muskier/masculine one. i think it lasts longer sprayed on my clothes than on my skin, even so the longevity is impressive for a body spray. my fiance LOVES this on me, and it gets plenty of compliments from others as well. this is a bold, heavy-duty sweet, though; if you're unsure, SDJ cheirosa 62 is similar and much more approachable. i do think it's quite amazing they were able to bottle such a decadent dessert scent so accurately, so i would definitely recommend giving it a smell test next time you're at a sephora just for the novelty. she is truly one of a kind and i love her.

This is my first bottle of Sol de Janeiro body mist and I am OBSSESED. I tried all the scents at Sephora, but none of them intrigued me like '71 did. I would call '71 the little more interesting but not so popular sister of '62 (which is a beautiful scent also, but '71 has some "pop" to it). It's very sweet and for some it might be overwhelming. Imagine the sweetest yet salty caramel popcorn, almost buttery type of vanilla, roasted almond and warm beach vibes. As it dries down a little you smell like a delicious salty caramel cookie. The projection impressed me for a body spray. For someone like me who is not a big fan of coconut notes, no need to worry as the coco note in this one is very soft almost non noticiable. After a few hours on the body it's not as prominend, but when you spray it on your clothes it lasts eternity. Wouldn't probably recommend for a blind buy. It is VERY sweet and for some could be overwhelming. But if you are a gourmand frangrance enthusiast and feel the need to hop on SdJ trend, I would definitely recommend this one out of all.

When I first spray this, I imagine that I am getting slapped in the face with a macadamia nut cookie. It is a warm, rich, nutty and dense realistic gourmand with touches of vanilla and salt. 71 lasts all day, and is very linear. What you smell in the opening is what you will smell on your skin the next day. If I wear this in my hair I have to wash it out. I used to pick up the popcorn note when I first purchased this, but my bottle is three years old now and all I get now is the freshly baked cookie. Layers well with other gourmands, I pair this with Bianco Latte, Phlur’s Caramel Skin, and Kayali 28. I would only wear this is cold weather, in more milder temperatures I would be too afraid to choke people out. 8/10 because of the excellent performance, reasonable price, and addicting scent. The negatives are that 71 is not very versatile and I have to be in the mood for it.

Overall, Cheirosa 71 is an absolute dream for sweet-gourmand, toffee oriented fragrance lovers: fun, decadent, and deeply comforting. If you love caramel, vanilla, and bold gourmands, this one is an absolute standout.

This body mist is one of the best things to ever happen to me. I absolutely love it - it smells like the perfect blend of caramel popcorn, buttered chocolate chip cookies, vanilla and macadamia with a little bit of salt on my skin. Just pure bakery goodness. The longevity is incredible as well!!! Leaves a tray behind you, and your clothes will smell like it for DAYS. I would die for 71, but my mom gags everytime she smells it, so that’s just hilarious to me. Some people will stop you and say you smell like heaven, might even say it’s the best scent they’ve ever smelled on somebody, some will tell you you’re sick in the head. Love to be this divisive but if you want to please everyone, maybe skip this one

Wild anecdote: So, as a guy, I wore Cheirosa '71 to a local coffee shop in Brooklyn that just opened up... wasn’t trying to turn heads. Humid and about to rain - just needed an Americano and an awning. The tattooed young woman who I assumed was the owner pauses while ringing me up, gives me a curious look, and says, "You smell like... a rich girl who doesn’t text back." I was a bit surprised, but joked, "Depends who's texting." She smiled, handed me a muffin “on the house,” probably just for smelling like one of the desserts. Guy behind me just nodded like he got it, lol So this how y’all girls feel? Empowering. 100/10 😂😂

Now I smell like a cinnamon cookie fresh baked 🤣 hahaha First time I didn’t notice too much the fragrance, with time, in my skin is pretty intense but way too caramelised... just like cookies with cinnamon, touch of coconut and whipped cream maybe, vanilla but burnt. I can’t with devotion but this is super comfy and my first gourmand fragrance, for autumn too! I’m happy with the results now... I could add nutmeg to notes and kinda toffee caramel ! Love it! Cofy and cozy ... I’d like to layer with something else but no idea if another gourmand could be too much, I’m combining with libre and hayatti...

ok so... i smelled things that were said to be similar to this before and i kinda hated all of them so i had this prejudice... but oh my god this is amazing the first spray was so intense i genuinely thought i was gonna choke 😭 but not even a minute later it turned into the MOST delicious creamy, nutty sweetness ever. absolutely obsessed with scents like this imagine drinking a warm nutty oat milk latte with a little sweet cinnamon, preferably on a crisp autumn day because that’s the vibe that’s what it smells like. l o v e i t i got the mini but i’m 100% upgrading to the biggest size 😩

YUMMY! YUMMY! I want to eat my arms! Fabulous scent! When Sol de Janeiro released their Coco Cabana in 2018 it smelled like coconut caramel buttery salty popcorn. Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa '71 is similar to that release but more, a LOT more, CARAMEL - and I mean really good caramel too! and has faint nutty note. This is super Caramel Coconut with hints of Salty Buttery Sweet Nutty - almost popcorn like. original Coco Cabana is more Coconut buttery popcorn vs Cheirosa '71 is more Caramel Coconut with hints of nuts and a buttery popcorn.

I absolutely love this scent. It shocked me how much it smells like those caramelized nuts at the mall. I was always in awe of how much that smell filed the room and had control over me. Swooning. This is also absurdly realistic. Insanely great progression, absolutely delicious, and 100% gourmand. You either love it or hate it, and I happen to love it with a passion. This smells line fresh baked cookies, white chocolate and caramelized dates. It incorporates very creamy on my skin. Definitely one of my favorites ever.

To everyone smelling the urine scent in this one, it’s definitely because this mist does not mix well with acidic body chemistry and sweat overall. Not all fragrances work with everyone’s body chemistry, and this is one of those. Use this after a fresh shower and you’ll definitely experience it in a new light, or smell it on people that allows this perfume to exponentially thrive (like me, this smells wonderful on me according to everyone around me). Not once did this perfume go rancid on me.

I'd say I have a love hate relationship with this body mist. When I first tested it, I instantly fell in love with the scent. I literally wanted to eat it lol. I got so many compliments when I started wearing it, people used to get confused where did the bakery scent come from. However, the longer I wore it, the more annoying this scent became to me. Maybe because the sweetness is so strong. So if you want to smell like fresh caramel popcorn donut diabetes – this scent is perfect for you

If you seriously hate '71 I do NOT trust you. First smelled this at the airport for fun since my flight was delayed, and my god, I was hooked. If you're a gourmand lover this has to be the mist for you. It smells exactly like a salted caramel pudding with flamed sugar on top. It's just so pleasantly intriguing to me whenever I smell it, and it makes me understand exactly why the olfactory sense is my favourite out of all the ones that we have. God bless Sol de Janeiro for making this.

I truly enjoyed this one so much more than anything else from this body mist line. It does not tease, it envelops you instantly in a warm, golden halo of edible sweetness. For better or for worse. I am not partial to gourmands. But this is just like hazelnut candies, which I love. this one smells like actual food. Like Toffifay? Maybe my opinion will change if i ever bought this but for now, this was the standout from the whole line and definitely the best one. It’s show stopping.

this scent is sweeter than cheirosa 62 for me because of the intense caramel, but its also intensely nutty and salty. i find it to be a good balance, but i generally prefer gourmands over other types of scents. if you dont like gourmands, this sure wont convince you. i find this to be true of all the cheirosa mists, but if i spray it directly on my skin or hair, it lingers until the next time i wash. i think its a plus because i enjoy the scent, and getting a small whiff is nice.

MY FAV MY FAV MY FAV!!! My favourite SDJ scent, halfway through my current bottle. For me i find this to be really strong, a couple sprays lasts forever on my clothes. People always say it smells like burn popcorn, it smells alot like popcorn intially but that smell fades and it smells more vanilla caramely. Ive gotten compliments when wearing this. The bottle is super cute, i wish the body cream wasnt an exclusive and was cheaper because '71 just smells divine. <3

Such a beautiful scent. This is the ultimate summer perfume - coconut, nuts, and sunshine. I don’t really smell the sea salt, but the other notes are discernible. It’s a real foodie gourmand scent, like white chocolate cookies, but manages not to be overly sweet. It also feels like you should be wearing it on a beautiful tropical beach, in just a bikini and sarong. I find it hard to find summer perfumes, but this one is a real delight. ☀️

i bought this a few months ago and i dont regret it, this smells like cookies with a mix of caramelised nuts last year while testing it in store it smelled weird (like butter and ass) for me but i gave it a try and didnt get disappointed, i get so much compliments wearing this (ppl say i smell like cookies) and it stays on for SOOOO long, i spray it a lot and it stays on for a few days on my clothes which is insane

I love this fragrance so much! This is my most complimented fragrance that I’ve worn. To me and those around me it smells very much like a sweet caramel cookie, or a sugar cookie. For me this lasts a couple hours, and there has been times where I sprayed it a bit before bed and I could still smell it in the morning! I also do get a bit of that caramel popcorn smell but I still like it. Such a lovely gourmand imo!!

esse eu defendo com unhas e dentes! Tem cheiro de bolacha com leite ou até mesmo daqueles quiosques de nutty Bavarian. Quem não gosta de doce, vai odiar. Quem gosta de doce só que frutado, também não vai gostar. Ele é doce doce doce, super quente e cremoso. Acho muito único e excelente para o frio. Te deixa com um cheiro confortável e aconchegante. Mas não daria blind, melhor experimentar antes (mas ele é ótimo).

i can’t express how much i love this mist. The amount of times someone has said “it smells like cookies” or “it smells like brownies” every time I walked in a room with this on, are too many to count. It literally stays in your clothes forever. It’s such a beautiful, cozy, sweet caramelized vanilla, it’s insane. I always layer it with a caramel body cream, and I smell edible for the whole day.

Gets a lot of compliments. Smells like caramel popcorn,but like some. yummy cookines also. My husband was forst few days confused, he said he thought that I am baking some cookies. it makes you follow the scent .Amazing value for money and I will surely buy it again. Kids also told me that is nice smell. You need to wear it to love jt. Dont just spray it at the store and say you dont like it.

How I love this fragrance is cost 5 x I’d still buy it. I’m so bemused by the bad reviews this is wonderful and light years better than 62. Yes the most photorealistic caramel popcorn initial burst with macadamia and quickly settles into nutty white chocolate vanilla coconut seas salt skin scent. So sweet and gorgeous.i love to wear it to bed and any other time!!! Love totally love

Smells like caramel buttery popcorn as alot of people say. Quite sweet & strong so don't need that many sprays or it might be a bit sickly. Definitely wouldn't be for everyone, but if you love gourmand scents like I do then I'd say it's worth a try! Might work better spraying on clothes to give off that warm cosy autumn chocolate chip cookie vibe.

It's a great scent if you like sweet gourmands, but I highly reccomend testing it on your skin. It didn't get along with mine so after a while it results in a smell of a wet dog that also happened to roll in caramel cake. If it worked well with me I'd never look for another fragrance. I must gift it to someone and will do so with a heavy heart.

My favourite sol de janeiro scent! It’s ultra gourmand, nutty and certainly has that butter or buttered popcorn feel which, as polarising as that is, something I adore. Surprisingly 71 and let the good times roll from lush is one of my most complimented combos! That is UNMISTAKABLY buttery popcorn but the general public sure do like it

Definitely my favourite from the brand. The other, and probably more popular, Cheirosa '62 felt too screechy and synthetic, but this is one very delicious. It smells like caramel and cookies to my nose rather than popcorn (luckily). Smells heavenly combined with the body butter. It could also layer well with vanilla scents.

bury me in this fragrance. I bought because I wanted something fun for the summer - this is not cloying for it to be a warmer, caramel scent. I can never smell it on me but I've gotten so many compliments when I wear it, so projection is stronger than I'd anticipated (which is fine). Caramel popcorn is how I'd describe it.

My absolute favourite scent for the fall! Warm salted caramel cookie batter goodness, if you are a gourmand girl you will be impressed. I personally don’t get the “popcorn” notes in this but I do get the nutty undertones which I like. I wouldn’t recommend if your not into overly sweet scents as it might be cloying.

I love this scent so much but absolutely REFUSED to pay the ridiculous price tag for a mere body mist...so I did what any self respecting person would and patiently collected my Sephora points over years then redeemed the travel sized bottles for free until I had enough to accumulate a full size’s worth. FUCK YEAH

I FINALLY HAVE A BOTTLE OF THIS!! this is so warm and perfect for autumn, at first it smells like cookies fresh out of the oven but after it dries down it smells like cinnamon rolls and i love it! you would have to wear this when it’s really cold out but i can’t wait for those days just so i can wear this!!!

fall-winter signature scent of a good 3 years of my life. remembering this as a cozy decadent seduction frag but that's mostly memory games. huge compliment getter, enough depth to not be body mist annoying. not big on nutty scents normally but this one was really well done in that regard.

Is AMAZINGGGG, if you like to smell like a bakery, this is 100% for you. it has all the notes it has to have, the butter, the vanilla, the brown sugar, a little bit of chocolate and ginger. You have to love this type of fragance, it is not for everyone but for me it is a MUST!

My girlfriend uses this one sometimes and she's a big fan of sweet scents, it smells PHENOMENAL on her. This smells like a really sweet, caramel kettle-corn popcorn to me in the best ways possible. Definitely a stay in and cuddle up with your sweetheart type scent.

I don't understand the butter popcorn comparisons. To me, this is a delicious macadamia nut cookie, very similar to a cookie butter, and boy is it strong and long lasting. A staple for the winter I love pairing this with Bianco latte or Fresh cream warm cashmere!!

Yum. I love this perfume so much. Its so yummy. Reminds me of baked cookies and a bakery. And italy. And switzerland. Because i used to wear it there a lot. I should wear it in winters only, but its so yummy. I cant resist. It makes me feel cozy and happy.

Yes it smells like burnt kettle corn but that's why I adore it. So,if you're like me and genuinely enjoy cloying syrupy scents (sticky dates comes to mind) you will love this ! It seems to last longer than the other mists

the opening is kinda boozy but it fades quickly and reveals nutty and chocolatey notes. later on, it really does become saltier it's sooo beautiful I can't wait for fall so I can finally wear it. Love love love🤎

I LOVE it. Wearing it today. When you wear it it's giving whiffs of buttery caramel popcorn for hours. Smells so photorealistic, too. Great gourmand perfume. Perfect especially for autumn and winter.
