Sol de Janeiro X ANITTA

From the nozzle, I smell the coconutty vanilla scent with a tang of passionfruit, however upon spraying it is almost all passionfruit and orchid. Then it settles down on my skin to a nice warm passionfruit with honey on a base of light vanilla. I don’t really get any patchouli nor pineapple (which isn’t on the listed notes but many reviews I saw mention it) from this. I thought I smelled some pink pepper when I first sprayed it on my skin but I’m not sure if it’s just a note I’m confusing with something else. This spray is not just passionfruit on top of the base of the original (Cheirosa 62) like I see other reviewers posting. It’s very different, the vanilla base has a different sweetness that is not at all nutty nor syrupy like the original. This is a great scent and I think it’s worth trying, especially if you’re a fan of Sol de Janeiro scents or just “vacation” scents in general. I live in Miami so this is a very regular scent I could wear any day or night out, but I could see how someone in a midwestern winter couldn’t see themselves bother ever picking this up. I’ll be sad to see it gone as it is limited edition.

So, this is by far my favorite of the Sol line. Pure happiness when you spray this. Also, as with the others, I don't think these need to be restricted to Summer. They have this gooiness that really can be worn in cold weather and just keeps you dreaming of the warmer days to come. Unlike some Summer scents that are pure tropics, the passionfruit gets a real warm up from the honey and patchouli. I'm not sure about anyone else here, but I rarely wear just one scent, I love to layer. If you want a nice, layered option, partner this with Vacation from Arquiste. The coconut milk adds some creaminess and depth to the coconut water here, and the pineapple and banana work really well with the passionfruit. This is definitely a great purchase for beach and pool lovers, and a nice nod to retro sun bums.

Omg 😱 the hype is real! This is GOOD STUFF! And I must disagree with the opinion below mine- I hate bikini season the dill pickles and all! This- this is Juicy!!!! This is ten over ten way better than bikini season. The passion fruit is in your face and so perfectly well blended with the other notes— really bringing this to life- if you love passion fruit then this is a must have! Oh and btw I hate patchouli with a passion and this has none detectable in this 70 degree temperature... it’s just a supporting player thar cannot be detected at all. It reminds me of the juiciness that used to be in pure seduction. It’s passion fruit with coconut water along side honeyed jasmine... it’s amazing!🥲 I love it soooo much 💗💗💗. It smells even better in cooler weather.

Ugh, I adore this scent!!! I bought 3 bottles knowing it was limited edition and I’m so happy I did! I am on my second bottle and I already used half of it. I really wish the company would make this one of their permanent scents because it is truly sexy! I know there is no pineapple in here but it smells like pineapple mixed with vanilla and hint of spiciness from the patchouli. It is truly amazing and done so well for a fruity fragrance And it lasts all day on me especially on my skin, PLEASE BRING THIS BACK PERMANENTLY! You’d be doing lots of us a favor lol although it’s a summer fragrance I use this all year around and it still smells just as good in cold weather.

Tl;dr: I love this. So sweet and warm. Dry down is a bit fresh with that sweetness lingering. I smelled this straight from the nozzle and it was immediately familiar. I was a Gucci Rush fan, I know it was hit or miss for folks. But it was my fav. This smells very much like Gucci Rush to me. The peach, fressia, vanilla, patchouli of Rush is all here for me. Anitta is much more sweet. I’m wearing this during a very warm and humid summer, but I can see myself reaching for this during colder months too. I’d probably layer it tho, with something that has a leather or suede note.

SDJ if you’re reading this please bring this scent back! There is truly nothing like this on the market. The honey and patchouli balance the fruitiness and give this such a depth and sexiness for a fruity scent. A beautiful realistic tropical fruitchouli without coming off sunscreeny. It’s delicious and truly a stunner in the SDJ lineup. I have a back up bottle but it’s not enough, I need this in my veins. If any kind person is looking to sell, swap or declutter theirs, message me 💛 I don’t think I can have enough of this one.

I wanted to test out all of the Sol de Janeiro fragrances at Sephora, and initially this one caught my eyes the least. I guess from first glance i assumed it was floral, which is my least favorite. Well guess who purchased this one over the others today? i fell in LOVE! Super tropical, fruity, sweet goodness. I can see myself wearing this to finish off the summer/ fall. Yes it can smell like something from Bath and Body, but i cant compare it to anything specific. All i know is, i love it and i will be wearing excessively! lol

I bought this fragrance when it first released in 2021 at Sephora. I wasn't into perfumes until this year but this one stayed in my purse/car with me all summer 2021. Every guy I went out with during that time LOVED this smell on me and it radiates summer and happiness. I just sniffed it today after a very long time and wow the nostalgia and memories came back with this scent. I have a huge dent in the bottle and I don't ever want it to run out since it was limited edition. Memories in a bottle for me. Super uper Sweet

The existence of patchouli in this makes it the sexiest body spray I own. It smells like summer in a bottle, with a little extra something to make it interesting. Really enjoy that passionfruit note, too, although I agree with others who say it smells like pineapple. This scent is lovely and I’m very much looking forward to summer so I can wear this again! This definitely garnered some compliments so I know others can smell it on me. This is the only scent from this house that really grabbed me.

Believe it because I’m the one who suggested that cloudberry had notes that were reminiscent of Anitta Sol De Janeiro but I literally have 5 bottles of it because once upon a time my spouse spoke up and said he likes the way I smelt once. I even bought a knock off of rush and imo it was a bammer patchouli bomb and I’d be glad to give it away. Yeah obv cloudberry isn’t the same but it has some notes that reminded me of Anitta. Also, St Tropez VS is expensive and relatively hard to come by.

juicy fruity tropical heaven. I sampled every one from Sol and this is the most memorable. It’s delicious in a pineapple passionfruit cocktail way, almost like you could drink it. my friend said it smelled like a sunscreen. I do not get that vibe at all. my other friend said I smell delicious like vanilla. the fruity & patchouli combo is unmatched. I see the resemblance to Rihanna Rebl Fleur, but this is so much juicier/pineapple almost.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SOL DE JANEIRO MAKE THIS PERMANENT IN YOUR LINE. The way I LOVE this mist is next level. The best ones to come out from Sol de Janeiro are always limited edition like Tan Lines and Tropical Nights. More perfumes need that passionfruit in them, if I lived in a warmer climate I would wear this 24/7. Also got a backup if this never comes back. I need this in a perfume form, so if anyone knows DM me.

When I first found this scent I was obsessed and bought like 4 bottles especially since it was a collab with Anita. I gifted one to my sister and one to my mom and I still have one I’m currently using and one sealed one. So glad I stocked up because it’s a perfect summer spring summer fragrance. The scent is perfect like drinking a passion fruit tropical drink on the beach. Bright fruity and sweet but not cloying.

Tropical goddess in a bottle. Complete and absolute stunner for the summer. One of the few bottles I have a back up for (and regret not buying more, since it's been discontinued). I loved it because it wasn't your typical sunscreen summer scent - it's like they turned Tropical Punch into a perfume, but in the best way. Please bring this back!

Blind bought this scent, but I had a lot of faith because I've smelled other Sol De Janeiro products. I love this scent! I used it as a hair mist and whenever I shake my head, I get a good whiff of the base notes. I think I would love for it to last a little longer, but overall I love it!

i can’t explain why but this perfume specifically smells like 2006, in a good way of course. it initially smells like pineapple and passionfruit but when it dries down, it smells more like vanilla. it’s such an intoxicating scent, i can’t get enough of it <3

This is probably my favorite Sol de Janeiro body spray and I’ve smelled them all. I always thought this had a note of pineapple in it but I guess not. It smells like ripe pineapple to me and that’s the primary note I get. Weird.

It smells like tropical fruits (passion fruit/pineapple) mixed with vanilla. Very sweet and lovely but it doesn’t last more than 15mins on me. I wasn’t expecting much but it’s quite frustrating...

perfect for the beach! i'm obsessed with this scent. for how popular the Sol de Janerio brand is, this spray is criminally underrated. true mango-passionfruit with refreshing coconut water.

I love all the cheirosas but with this colab release with Anitta I was hesitating because of the Patchouli. This note runs horrible on my skin I cannot tolerate it. So this "pink patchouli" note kept ringing. Anyway, I blind bought it and.... Well I really like it. The passionfruit opens tangy along with pineaple, tiger orchid brings some exotic powderness and sensuality and there comes a subtle bitterness from the patchouli.... Just enough to give depth and earthiness and then it goes to the background to let the coconut water and vanilla linger all the way. It's beautiful, supremely sexy and tropical. It has a light resemblance to hypnôse by lancôme, performance is good, like an edt. Good price tag and Lovely fragrance of all the cheirosas, this one is the most sensual, sadly it's a limited edition.

Went out for a run in the midday heat. 95F and just as humid. While approaching a girl, I could smell her perfume from at least 20m away. It was sweet but fresh and sexy with that slight tropical cream. I had to ask her what she was wearing. She told me about this perfume, Sol de Janiero X Anitta, which she layered over the "light pink body cream" by the same brand. Whatever the combination, it smelled intoxicating. Not too juvenile. Just sexy and fun in the sizzling heat of summer. I can get with this.

i think i like this more than some of the other sol de janeiro scents! it does remind me of some type of fruity candy or gum (mambas maybe??), the pink patchouli isn't super obvious but it's definitely there. wayyy on the fruity side, not as nutty as the cheirosas but i do get a hit of coconut water and some honeyed floral vibes! i can definitely see myself wearing this a lot this summer while traveling!!

Not as fruity sweet as I was expecting, honey, coconut and patchouli is what I get on my skin but it somehow gives off a wet graham cracker scent. It’s not bad, just not expected. In the bottle and on clothes I get a piña colada with a warm vanilla scent. There is also a heaviness to the scent when it’s on your skin, if that makes sense, like it almost smells dense??

So nice in the morning. It's refreshing. It's sweet and tropical. You get a pineapple-coconut accord right off the top. The floral and vanilla ground it so it doesn't seem like just any other fruity body spray with no depth. My understanding is this is a limited edition type thing but I'm hoping they keep it. It's so good for the price.

Surprisingly strong opening of pineapple. Smells like sipping fruity mocktails by a pool in July. Longevity is very good; however, it is quite strong and may cause headaches in those prone to scent induced headaches. Sweet, sugary, creamy dry down that lingers on clothing. Overall, quite an enjoyable scent for this price point.

A nice tropical scent. Smells how tropical punch tastes. Even though pineapple is not listed in the notes here, that’s what I instantly thought of. Not bad. Actually one of the better Sol de Janeiro body mists, as it doesn’t have that weird stale-burnt-sugar-water note that a few of them have.

reminds of a vacation, to be exact a pina colada. This is straight up pineapple and coconut.. nothing else, really.

A fruity drink on a gorgeous beach.

I was walking through Sephora in the mall to get to my Bath and Body Works ("BBW") store, and not to buy the comparative fragrance mentioned here since I already had it. I sprayed the Sol de Janeiro Anitta because it was on display, not that I was intending to buy it. I LOVE 62 and 71!!! At this time in some stores, in certain states, certain locations, it is being allowed to spray perfumes again in the USA due to the COVD 19 restrictions. At BBW, I sprayed Fairy Tale, which is not in the database here since it's a new release for the company. But on my arm, they smell the same. The notes are not the same but on me it projects the same. I hesitated to put this review but if you happen to be looking, shopping, browsing etc, you may want to test it yourself, remember we are all different. And if you happen to have a reward and like it, you can take advantage of the information. I don't like the Anitta. I have the Fairy Tale due to all the raves is getting, smells nice, the bottle is more attractive but is not a passion

I love all other moisturizers and body sprays from Sol de Janeiro except for this one. On a scale of one to ten, I give it maybe a six. The sweet/fruity opening is so ridiculously overwhelming that it isn’t worth waiting for the dry down, which is fleeting. The fragrance evokes memories of fruity body sprays I wore as a teenager. The dry down is nice and smells similarly to the original Cheirosa 62. It’s a “meh” for me.

Okay, I don't know if I'm imagining things or what .. but this smells exactly like "Candy Blush" body mist at La Senza. It's very sweet. Almost too sweet. It doesn't give me any of the Sol de Janeiro scents that I've come to love. It's a good scent, just not like any of their others.

I can hardly smell it 🙄 whatever it is I smell, sure, it smells good but I have to stick my nose into my wrist in order to smell it...so I will definitely use the bottle but I won’t repurchase...

This is how I figured out I don't love passion fruit scents :(. Its too sweet for me, I dont get any nuance of freshness at all. Feels like I could get a cavity just by smelling it lol

This smells nice, sweet, fruity buuuut the “pineapple” is soooooo........artificial! Whenever I wear this I feel cheap or like a stripper (no shade but yknow) it also smells sour or bitter if I don’t wash my clothes immediately when I get home. Would I recommend this over the others absolutely not! Definitely try 71’ or 62’ if you haven’t.

It has a nice tropical fruit opening that I wish stayed throughout the fragrance, but a patchouli stink takes over and is the most prominent thing I smell. Similar to the mess they released that was 67, but this is a little better

I loved this on first spray but once it dried down that passion fruit note because very sour. It was sour enough that it translated as BO. Ended up buying the regular Cheirosa 62 instead.

The opening is nice but the patchouli ruins it for me in the dry down. It turns from edible, to fruity floral, then to moldy produce.

So I really like this, not as much as my main girl 71, but still above average for a body spray. I'm usually not much of a tropical scent person, I have a strong preference for fall/winter scents, but I live in Texas and it's hot like 75% of the year, so I have to find some hot weather scents I like, hence why I bought this. It opens really juicy and bright with that passion fruit, but it only lasts a few minutes before it dissipates and turns into more of a fruity coconut water scent. I can definitely detect the floral notes and the patchouli and honestly they make this work for me. The dry down kind of reminds me of Reb'l Fleur actually, it's got that fruitchouli vibe going on, just a bit lighter. It's a really fun, juicy scent that's definitely tropical, but not in the sunscreen-y, Hawaiian Punch way that arguably smells good but just isn't me. If I could afford to go on a beach vacation this would be coming with me

This one is sweet, just like the rest of Sol de Janeiro brand. Something about this just sticks out more than the rest of them, it's a pretty unique fragrance mist. Very fruity and sweet in a different kind of way. Really good. I don't know if I could see myself wearing this in any time but late spring/summer though.

y'all won't believe me. so basically Isle of Paradise has come up with a new body moisturizer (yellow packaging), it smells almost EXACTLY like this mist. I snatched a tester yesterday from Sephora without any clue that it was gonna smell so close. I'm so mind blown cos they smell like 90-95% identical

Mouthwatering passionfruit. For some reason I also get pineapple even if its not listed in the notes. This is so realistic, it has a fizzy sort of acidic smell that tropical fruits have. It’s beautifully grounded by the patchouli, so it’s not a brainless fruity scent. Sooo pretty I love it

I got a dupe of this on Etsy by the Sugar Me Sweet shop. They have perfume spray and perfume oil. I got a 10ml spray for $12. Smells like a tropical sweet vacation vibe. I love it! Will definitely upgrade to the bigger size when I run out.

Bath and Body Works Island Margarita Hand Sanitizer + Classic Cheirosa '62 DNA. And it works. Tropical, syrupy, and a little citrus with a nutty, caramel base expected from Sol de Janeiro.
