Stoned

i found this at Saks fifth avenue and couldn't resist it ..went back and forth two times and on my third visit just couldn't help it no more..as if i was hooked from that first sniff!.. i bought it..i think it has something addictive in it, for real ,as the name suggests..! the perfume it self reminds me of all my all time favourite like shalimar gurline. opium ysl,coco chanel, obsession ck etc...its woody, ambary, smoky, musky ,powdery, with an amazing dry down.. its almost a bitter fragrance.. defiantly balmy.. you can hardly feel the roses.. its a mature.. unique.. scent that swept me back to all time classics. .its very seductive ,, extremely dangerous .so be ware use sparingly...i love the bottle it just sits there like a temple of love or a gypsy fortune teller it reminds me of the hippies era and peace and love a truly Bohemic perfume .. i feel this perfume has so much heritage..history.. mystery.. its so deep , dark, with some supernatural powers...its a bit scary i think there should be an age limit of 18+ ....! i think it will be a timeless treasure and a classic one.. i am so glad i got it ..it keeps growing on me every time i smell it..and every time it smells some how a bit different from the first time its like magic.. p.s the cap of the bottle is not showing in this image its an actual woman sitting in a meditating position!pure edp potion..not a spray you just pull up the woman from the head and your head will go round and round for hours as if it takes you to another place and time as if you actually reach 7th heaven... bottle rating 4.7 out 5 perfume rating 4.7 out 5 a unique master piece edp 100 ml pour out bottle personal liking ratting 4.8 out 5

I have ordered sample of this quite randomly and only read some reviews here and at the "luckyscent.com" after, but since most of them were quite critical, I didn't expect much from this fragrance. Got it today and even thought I have some kind of cold or flu or whatever and a blocked/runny nose, I really wanted to test some of the new samples, so I have decided to try this one. And what a gorgeous surprise! Whether it's because my nose has only limited capacity to smell right now or because the samples cannot be sprayed properly (instead one achieves only dainty smears with that tiny plastic "toothpick"), I certainly don't get any burning, acidic, stingy sensation! I would not say that it's heavy either. What I get is very pleasant spices (even though they are not listed here), posh and also expensive, and it is all quite rich, exquisite and delicious. Before I checked the price of this stuff, I was thinking: "to me, this is a very refined, interesting compossion...but not overly mature - in fact I think this could suit to people of various ages for various occasions...I can imagine that this is a very flexible fragrance that changes on each individual"... Myself - I could easily start feeling like a diva! :-D Well...the price has shocked me though! LOL. So unless I desperately want to get rid of some money, I would not purchase this myself. :-)

Well I am still honing my skills when it comes to reviewing fumes... So here goes my attempt at this truly unique perfume. I have been admiring this from afar-perhaps because of the bottle or even the price, but I really wasn't considering the notes even though they are right up my alley. But wow I really think this it's DIFFERENT and unique. Lately everything seems to run together and starts to smell repetitious of one another especially since I tend to trend a certain way with my fragrances, but not this juice. The rose is very dainty to me (apparent) but not overwhelming. The vanilla is sweet and subdued but the musk is so warm and soothing. There is a bit of spicyness to this as well (can't put my finger on it) its a classic scent and wears close to the skin, by no means is this a silage monster. It also doesn't have a lot of staying power- this could be due to the small amount I sprayed on my arm trying to conserve the amount I still have left. I still love the bottle and I do like the juice.. Do I want to drop 300 maybe... But I definitely like this perfume. And a big shout out to my friend panterachik for sending me this sample so that I could experience it. **update** I just bought it! And I am loving it so much..

I've found MY Shalimar. For me, Stoned feels a bit like Shalimar and is deserving of all the superlatives and accolades frequently showered upon the grande dame by fragrance enthusiast. Like, Shalimar, Stoned is sophisticated, classic, timeless, but more.....so much more to me. She's more approachable, more powdery (to my nose) and much more likely to find a permanent place in my wardrobe. Musky? Not to me. Vanilla? I don't think so. Labdanum, oakmoss and baby powder as you've never experienced it? YES! Stoned smells how I feel when I first take off my suit and heels, sophisticated, but inviting :)
