Ambre

As soon as the autumn leaves begin to fall I reach for this scent. I love amber, but in many fragrances I find it to be headache inducing, here it is perfect. If I had to come up with one word for Ambre it would be "warm". This is truly the coziest scent that I own. The notes are simple yet it always keeps you coming back for more. Sultry, creamy, delicious. It takes about 5 sprays all over the body to last all day, but for the price that is no problem. Lastly, you don't smell this on every other person. It's unique and could definitely be unisex. MMMM Ambre :)

the first blast reminds me of obsession women then I can smell a leathery note. it ́s a dry leather note mixed with a hint of creamy amber. At first it seems very close to skin, with low projection, let ́s wait to see if someone notices it on me. It ́s my very cup of tea, thumbs up ;-).very unissex (I`ve just mixed it with solinotes coco and coco almost overlaped it, but it is a nice combination, coco alone has a soapy note that annoys me a little)

A light amber, wearable year round. A brief flash of citruses at the top before quickly segueing into the main event: a cozy, friendly, and approachable amber, with the requisite vanilla lending no more than a touch of sweetness. Such a shame it’s been discontinued - I found a bottle on a European site, in perfect condition, for about $15. I imagine I’ll get through it quickly.

Very nice amber, much better and less feminine than Gaultier2, more feminine than masculine but still a very good unisex offering. I'm really tempted to buy a full bottle. Notes are bergamot, Sicilian mandarin orange, amber, musk, vanilla and incense. 7.5/10 but 10/10 because of it's price.

Tried it on while waiting for my teen to try on clothes at Urban Outfitters.. So warm and sensual. Delicious!

Maybe this is another of those scents that are really dependent on skin chemistry. On me this is a very vanillic amber, more vanilla than amber. It's a sweet vanilla cream soda scent that manages not to be too sweet, so it's perfect for me since I like vanilla fragrances, but I'm picky and don't like any perfumes that smell like cake or syrup or cotton candy that's just been attacked by a flamethrower. It's hard to find the exact right vanilla if you're on the quest for it, but I just found my HG vanilla and now I'm happy.

Really good quality amber. Very unissex, good for layering with softer fragrances, gives a nice deep tone. Medicinal, resinous and very charming.

Very interesting fragrance, hard to describe, for me the smell is a mix of patchouli, incense, vanilla. the lasting power is very good.

I had forgotten it a little because I usually go for more twisted perfumes and I must confess my prejudices with solinote perfumes: I think they are going to bore me. But this house do things very good.Today I came to this amber, I like it when ambers do not abuse vanilla and balance with the more balsamic notes (tolu, labdanum, resins...), this is the case. Balancing the composition, a slight citrus reflection that gives it dynamism, I detect something green-balsamic like the smell of oregano or laurel that gives it elegance. It's a perfect amber

I find it in the same vein of Shalimar, only not as refined. I get the same dusty, smoky and dark vanilla next to a balsamic amber and animalic + citrusy nuances. Nice for the price. unbelievably nice. it's the narcotic powdery amber of the amber paste I found in the Turkey Spice Bazaar that everyone who has smelled it absolutely loves. it's dreamy. An amber you would never tire of... not the hay in sunshine smell but the feeling of lying in the warm grass on a sunny day. stellar.

I love the solinotes line, I have the musk , vanilla , patchouli and yesterday my neighbor gifted me amber. It smells close to the patchouli of the same line, warm and creamy. It smells a bit salty on my skin though. This must be perfect for layering to add warmth to fruity or floral scents.

Disappointed. Smelled today and expected a lot more after reading the reviews here. Also tried 4 other variations. Patchouli was the best smelling one for me. This does not project at all. Try before you buy!
