Gingembre

I absolutely love this beautiful combination of ginger, lotus, and amber. It's refine and elegant. The ginger gives it a fresh, slightly spicy opening, while the lotus adds a soft, watery floral note that keeps it light and the amber is comforting. It has an alcohol opening that lasts only a couple of minutes. That said, the longevity is unfortunately quite short, about 1 hour on my skin. I genuinely enjoy wearing it—just wish it had more staying power.

Lovely smell, very well crafted. It reminds me of Prada Infusion de Gingembre with less depth and a little bit fresher. Perfectly unisex imo. But the Longevity is absolutely terrible. After 20 minutes, it’s gone. Such a shame for this beautiful ginger. Some of solinotes perfumes are absolute trash, some others are great with good longevity... but this one may be a great hit, the poor performances are killing it in the egg.

smelled this in store and it's delicious. sweet and mildly spicy, not attacking as i expected. some solinotes scents are absolutely misses, this is a bullseye hit. it's absolutely delicious. i wanna eat it. the ginger is of course dominating, it's got a bit of a fruitiness to it and it's not tropical like tiaré by the same brand, it's more to the berries direction. i get a bit of red licorice from it, a specific brand comes to mind. the sweetness isn't overwhelming and that's good because it lets the ginger really shine. i also love that it doesn't change so much when it dries down. it does become muskier as is normal but the ginger is there, the orange zest is there, the sweetness is there. i cannot describe my love for this in any way. if you like ginger candies, especially the ones that really taste like ginger. the chinese ones in the little boxes. you'll probably like this. it just sits so comfortably in the nose if that makes sense. it's pleasant. so fab. edit: hi!! so, i wore this for a few hours today while comparing it to tiaré (i have a review on the tiaré page) and my God, it doesn't last as well as tiaré. i have a few cheap perfumes at home, cheaper than this and they last longer. it's now been... about 3 hours or so and it doesn't smell like anything anymore. it smells faintly of the base notes, barely that and im so sad. the ginger is so good i wanna reapply it over and over. it is GREAT, please, don't get me wrong but i wanted this to last. even the middle notes are tasty but they didn't last. im so hurt, like the perfume broke up with me :(

Has Solinote's Gingembre become my number one coolly refreshing easy spritzer this summer? It's certainly in the top five, along with its stablemate Grenadine. Fast-layering either with Emir Cherry Cola, or other summery delights, has produced numerous moments of chilled relaxation in recent months. This Gingembre is indeed mostly ginger.The other listed notes only add background accents. Lemon next, and then lotus, are the two most prominent. Rhubarb is only a light touch of tartness, nothing challengingly sour is delivered. As for those base notes of musk, woods, and amber, all stay low in the back. No other note dares approach the tangily reviving primacy of this ginger. ...and actually, Gingembre's longevity is quite decent, considering the note it is, but of course, the exhilaration of reapplication holds its own addictive appeal, especially in hot weather.
