Grenade (Pomegranate)

Artificial and synthetic?? -Yess, and, I love it!! Childish?? -Yess, proably, but, that's what my heart is; I'm still 7 years, my heart doesn't know that I'm in fact is 61 y, and I still have my beloved Julia Barbie which I got for christmas back in 1968, and Ken!, and, I also still have a lot of treasures from my childhood, and, this perfume is a perfect match for my inner child :)) -First came the strong citruses, as Ralph Fresh by Ralph Lauren, but in the drydown they go different ways, and this Grenade goes on very fruity and berrylike, the artificial and synthetic smell in it, comes from the blackberries, I have noticed that blackberries ofen gives this smell in other perfumes. So, if you like me, have this giggely inner child that likes sweet and fruity perfumes, go for this little super-happy gem, if you doesn't like it after all, you can give it to me :))

if you love skylar pomegranate princess this is not that scent this is the fruit aspect of that scent! I was shocked at the lasting time and projection it's LOUD, I suggest mixing this with a marshmallow or vanilla cake fragrance that actually lasts like Creme of clouds to create your own skylark this is a fruit blast but not the subtle skin fragrance lol she's loud fam

I bought this at target like 5 years ago as my first real go at perfumes and it was an immediate classic for me. I wore it on every occasion, super bright and a little sour mixed with its delectable sweetness. Very fruity. It may come off as a little immature but it’s undeniably delicious

so i only got this to mix with vanillas to make pomegrante princess dna bc skylar perfumes dont last. i dont even reach for it but dont wanna be negative nancy! this is a beautiful bright fruit dna. ive just gotten more into dif dnas! but a low cost loud and powerful

A fruity perfume that kind of reminds me of children shampoo, all juicy and tutti frutti. It’s a fun childish perfume that shouldn’t be taken too seriously, but I loved wearing this during lockdown two years back. It has okayish longevity considering the price, and works nicely as itself or layered with another solinotes perfume. Now that I’m out and about I don’t see myself wearing this too often, but my sister loves loves it and borrows it all the time—I gifted the large sized one to her. She loves the whole Juicy Couture perfume line so there’s that. I have a 15ml mini bottle of this unopened still, and I think it’d be a long while until I can finish that one.

It’s not bad! I actually quite enjoy this and it does last for a surprising amount of time considering how cheap it is. I will admit, this isn’t a love to me due to the citrus note- to me it’s quite prominent. It smells like a pomegranate chapstick, like it’s fully linear (which is obviously the point!) so it is recommended to layer; but I actually quite like it on its own. I suggest possibly layering with a vanilla to balance out the sour/sweetness. Sillage is great, can definitely smell it for a long time And lasting power about 3-4 hours on me

Bought this thinking it might be a dupe for bright crystal absolu—I can confidently say it's not a dupe but I actually like it better. I always liked the idea of bright crystal in theory, but on my skin it would turn sour, like an almost rotten pomegranate. Grenade, on the other hand, is a bit sweeter and more tart, but not sour. I find it to be a fresher scent, and I can see how it might be described as a shampoo scent. Reminds me of a pomegranate body wash I used to use. Might just have to buy it again to pair with this perfume!

I fancy this fun uplifting scent. fizzy / sparkling. Plenty of citrus & tart fruit - energetic/vibrant for Spring & Summer; I found it works great for dreary snow days too. It does not last long (approx. 4 hrs). Solinotes or fragrances based around a note are going to be (in general) linear - this is no exception. Great for layering. I bet if you mixed this with Musc or Cotton you would get a scent similar to Atelier Des Ors Pink Me Up or at the very least Kayali Lychee Something.

Picked it up somewhat randomly while looking through sales and I liked the initial spray very much! Lots of citrus with some berries and pomegranate, it's very simple but in a good way - perfect for a fun summer's day. Unfortunately, that fruity scent doesn't last very long. After about 3 hours I can still somewhat smell it, but I'm mostly left with the musk :( Still a very nice budget friendly option for warm days though :)

I’m reviewing the body mist. I am pleasantly surprised! Usually pomegranate notes are sour and noxious to my nose ,but this is fresh, juicy, and only slightly tart! More of a grenadine syrup/ spritzer note than fresh Pom fruit, which I love! . It’s so juicy sweet!! I can see the pink me up comparison except this doesn’t have that slightly off putting patchouli note!

Think smashed pomegranate mixed into sparkling grapefruit juice with blackberry infused ice cubes. It's fresh, sweet, fruity, a tiny bit soapy (but not off putting), and light. Like other Solinotes perfumes, this only lasts for a couple of hours (if that). Overall, it is lovely.

This one is very fresh and fruity! Almost uber-fruity. I smell pineapple and grapefruit strongly in this one. Refreshing and Clear. Maybe a hit for younger Girls and they who like Escada perfumes.

The citrus note is very strong for me, followed by the berry scent. I agree with previous reviews that it reminds me of shampoo. Not in a bad way, though. It's a like but not a love for me.

I was attracted to the great price but this scent is very linear. It smells nearly the same on first spray and as time goes on. It's a synthetic berry scent and soapy. My friend said it smells like a baby that just took a bath in a good way. I think it actually smelled better on clothes mixed with the scent of my regular detergent. If you're someone who likes to spray on clothing or bedding for aromatherapy it might be worth the buy.

Agree with others who say the dry-down is artificial. This perfume is okay. You get citrus, berries, and pomegranate.

berry, citrus and very very sweet

blind bought this bc they had run out of the tester.... i do like how it smells when you first spray it, it's giving tart and almost sour but also very sweet. it doesn't last long on the skin but lasts quite a while on clothes. HOWEVER i do not like the way it interacts with my skin. you know how you spray febreeze on trash and it just ends up smelling even worse, like febreeze + trash? that's what happens with this perfume and my BO. just smells like absolute shit. i don't even have bad BO but this brings it out. it's nauseating and migraine-inducing. i absolutely cannot stand it

I don't know why exactly but this scent is nauseating to me. It comes off almost sickly sweet. I do enjoy the sweet fresh scent when you first spray it but after it dries it smells too much like childrens bubble bath. I agree with some of the other reviews that this would be really fitting to younger girls. It almost smells like a scented strawberry shortcake toy I had as a child. Its definitely not a mature scent but I can see how it might be useful for layering with something more woodsy/musky. I got this on sale and it is at least worth what I bought it for.

Whatever you call the “aftertaste” in a fragrance...this one has a strong one. This perfume was gorgeous until it kicked it and ruined it. I kept going back to sniff for over 24 hours and it still smells like that. It was like petting a pretty horse and then getting kicked in the teeth. Now I have to search for the perfect Pomegranate fragrance without that “aftertaste”.

Swing and a miss. On first spray, you get a delicious berry-filled fruit salad. Then it goes south to a burnt plasticky blech scent. On drydown after scrubbing it feels meh. Sequin Nights by VS is better.

this perfume literally makes my head hurt and my eyes sting. it’s so sour/sickly sweet. and it lingers for so long, i just can’t do it. i had to toss it after a few sprays.

Solinote's Grenade (pomegranate) is a refreshing delight, realistically suggestive of pomegranate juice It also maintains presence for an impressive duration, at least compared to many sing fruit EDTs Among fruit accords, pomegranate is exceptionally useful as a stand-alone cologne. The reason being how it successfully straddles the line between sweet and tart, ...at least as it is interpreted here by Solinotes. Indeed, this is surely one of the better (best?) fragrances in Solinotes line-up. Thinking of pomegranates has me thinking of Melograno by Santa Maria Novella, ...which is also probably my favourite of that brand, at least arguably so. This Solinote scent smells NOTHING like Melograno, ...but could it be used as a layering ingredient to create something similar? Experiment: On my left arm, I spray SMN's Melograno. On my right, I layer Grenade with Chanel No. 5 (at 1:1, adjacent sprays). (A good choice as its a mild, woody aldehydic, often compared with Melograno). But they are not that close, Now it is Grenade + Chanel that smells much more overtly fruity than Melograno, ...and ironically enough, Melograno now does suggest Chanel No. 5, or perhaps something between that and No. 5 L'Eau, or even No. 22. And fair enough, Grenade does not persist/project as strongly as Chanel No. 5 (EDP), so reapplication would be necessary.

I loved the smell of this at first, sweet, berry with a hint of tartness. But, it is extremely linear with its tartness. The scent is amazing at first but tends to annoy you and give you a headache at second. The tartness just seems to shine through far too much above the other notes and doesn’t seem to mesh very well with them either. I wanted to love this scent. Every time I smell it at first I still do, but every single time I actually wear it, or spray it... regret follows. If you LOVE tart.. this may be for you though! Lasts 3-4 hours on clothes, 4-5 hours on skin.

It's a basic scent which smells exactly like any generic berry scented shampoo , I love the simplicity ! I dint really get any notes from the perfume aside from raspberry I got mine for 15 euros and I think relative to the price , it lasts pretty long on clothing

Syrupy sweet like hard candy. Nothing natural... your typical, cutesy girly hard candy artificial berry smell. Cute if you're into it or collect Juicy Couture type fragrances...

Super citrusy with a hint of berry in the background. If you are looking for a single note, pomegranate scent, this isn’t it. Light and fresh, though.

The opening is amazing for 3 minutes then just a salty musk left... that opening though is like sparkling lychee

Veeery soapy but in a good way, and very sweet too. Smells like a Garnier shampoo. Great projection too!
