Musc

This is a really good musk! I saw it at Target so I immediately thought it would be some cheap, gimmicky crap but after I surreptitiously tested it (cause Covid) and waited for what I assumed would be a disappointing dry down, I was so impressed. It’s like Body Shop White Musk but better. There’s something less powdery about this one and perhaps more green, maybe even mineral. It reminds me a lot of Demeter Moonbeam, one of my favorite drugstore scents of all time. This musk is simple but complex; it has depth without being overpowering, clean without being too powdery. I love me a good musk and LOATHE me a bad musk. Jovan Musk makes me heave but Body Shop, Kiehl’s and Kuumba Made are my favs. If you like those, you’ll like this.

This perfume have been on my radar for sooo looong, I wonder why it toook sooo looong time for me to get it, and, it smells even better now when he/she/it came home with me, it is such a wonderful musky perfume, it's just so perfect in my nose and on my skin. And agree with @Dollycat; it smells just as what I remebered D&G Feminine was, I got that bottle of a friend in 2001, she got tired of it - and - I loved it - oh - and I'm so glad I've found it again =)) So, it's a 10/10 from me, and, I think it's office safe and fits everybody on this planet and more to come

i am on the hunt for smooth smelling perfumes. my nose seems to get that sharp note in most floral fragrances, and not in a pleasant way. this scent is exactly it; smooth, clean, demure! the price on this one is great. i don't think it lasts long but musk is, as we know, a scent we get used to quick because it's so similar to our skin. i overspray with confidence. i cannot smell any other notes, despite what their site says. this is a beautiful skin scent, kind of oily, kind of sweet, well, it's musk! pairs lovely with sweet fragrances as it cools them down.

Musc is really enjoyable if you enjoy your white musks closer to White Musk or White Musk Libertine by the Body Shop, rather than the animalic alternative Kiehls Original Musk. It's soft, floral (jasmine and peony) with all the cleaness you'd expect. Performs reasonably well and packs a mild punch. Really enjoy it and it may be one of my favourites from the line.

Wearing this today on National Fragrance Day :) I LOVE Musc! the most of the fun Solinotes line! It smells very musky (of course!) in a clean way and a bit androgynous smelling. It has a very in-your-face scent and a long stay power. Every time I catch a whiff of this on myself or sniff my wrist, I want to close my eyes and smile because it smells so delicious!

I really love this Musk, and I'm super picky about what other perfumers refer to as "musk." For reference, I cannot tolerate Glossier You, mainly because of the super sharp Ambrox. When I want a musk, I want it to be soft and smooth... and Solinotes is just that... soft and smooth musk. Lovely!

This is a wonderful musk. It's not too anything, just right. The price definitely makes it a staple for me. Fun to wear by itself, but even more fun to play around and layer other perfume with it. I loved it so much, I got both the travel size and 1.7 oz bottle.

This one is lovely! It ́s a soft end very pleasant slightly sweet fragrance. Like you have just showered it ́s a little bit body lotion like. It resemblance very much feminite from D&G. For europe it ́s only available in the perfume stores in Paris i believe.

This smells like pancakes! I'm absolutely in love, but find it hilarious! Maple syrup and pancakes. What a unique experience. I think something's changed. I hadn't worn if for almost 6 months and I come back to the yummiest scent I've ever smelt!

The main ingredient seems to be musk, but it creates a nice lemon lime scent - almost as if I opened a deluxe lemonade stand! My coworker sprayed some on me and it is *the* summer scent.

A range of Solinotes scents appeared on the shelves of my local Myer store recently. What a fun bunch these Solinotes fragrances are! I like the concept that these are designed to be worn solo or mixed with others. Even though musk hasn't been a major part of my perfume life I've been looking for a simple musk scent, mainly out of nostalgia, as musk was everywhere in the 1980's. Well, Solinotes Musc is what I was looking for. This is clean, soft and delicate with a retro vibe. I get lovely wafts as I move about. The notes on the outer sleeve of the box are: Top notes: bergamot, lemon Heart notes: jasmine, rose, musk Bottom notes: white musk, benzoin, cedarwood I love that they have gone with green as a colour scheme for this perfume - it's unexpected, natural, fresh. On testing, I also liked Solinotes Rose and will try hard to use some of the rose perfumes I already have so that I can make way for Rose!

White musk and peony. This is charming and gentle, fresh and clean but not sharp or laundry-like. Very feminine. Girly, even. It's a "pink" scent. This could be easily worn by women of all ages as well as young girls, as it's so delicate and I can't imagine this scent being inappropriate in any circumstances. But partly because sillage is very soft. It's a skin scent on me. Too soft for me to want to buy it, but it's such a lovely fragrance for the low price.

Nice fresh clean musk, pretty linear. Today I have layered it with iso-E Super and Hedione with a dash of William Hunt Vetiver straight from the shower and I feel nice and clean and cosy. I do wish people would stop labelling musks as feminine - I'm 60 and straight male and I wear what I want if I like it, and I like this one.

A clean, light musk. It smells exactly like a sunscreen my mother put on me as a child, and the blast of nostalgia could make me biased, but I love it. Longevity is alright, Solinotes fragrances usually don't last all day but I am not someone who believes that a fragrance should last all day.

Clean, yet surprisingly not too soapy or powdery. This is a modern take on musk, wearable and less animalic. The good thing is that it can be worn by itself or layered with a miriad of fragrances, from citrus to florals. Doesn’t last long and sillage is medium.

Musky and powdery. But soft. Very soft. Not a sharper musk like with Body Fantasies Fresh White Musk. Smells a lot to me like Secret Powder deodorant. Very clean and wearable.

Super clean inoffensive soapy smell, like you just got out of the shower

Sprayed this on randomly at Target one day and fell in love. I kept getting the most beautiful wafts of a creamy musky scent and I knew it was this. I didn’t buy it that day but kept thinking about it for the next 1-2 years until I finally got a bottle last week. And I’ve been in clean musk heaven ever since! Now when I spray it there’s more of a powderiness to this musk than creaminess, but it’s so beautiful and clean and pure smelling. Performance is really good for the price if you don’t get used to the scent from spraying it on every day. And maybe it’s because I’m pregnant and have babies on the brain, but I could swear when I get in the shower and I start to wash this scent away, it turns into a newborn baby head smell. Makes me love it even more! I need to take a break from this scent because I keep spraying it on every night and I’m afraid it’s going to lose it’s magic, or I’m just gonna become anosmic, but it’s hard to stop myself. And it won’t cost very much to replace it when I do use it up, in the next month or so at this rate! A big time love, if you love clean musky scents, this is a must.
