Rose

This is truly wonderful. This is going to add further depth to other rose fragrance's. It's crisp and rosy longevity is fabulous in this heat.. Summer in the tropics. A true non green rose. Not to overpowering and smells indeed expensive although one could say a rather budget alternative to more expensive brands. Yes. Believe it or not. Solinotes is made in France. I can't wait to see how this blends with other fragrance's in my travelling collection. These solinotes are meant to be layered. I see there is something for everyone in their fragrance variants. Happy Valentines from me to me. And on sale at $ 16.50 aus dollars for a 50 mil Edp flacon, colour coded and presented in an simple apocatary style bottle. Clean and simple..gotta love that.!

I added this to the cart when it was on sale and to get the free shipping. Of course I didn't expect anything, I mean it's a rose perfume by Solinotes meant to be a layering scent. So I sprayed it before I went to bed, and I noticed something enticing from this perfume. It's not a linear rose perfume, the litchi and bergamot deprive the "old-lady" aspect of the rose, enhance its modern and dynamic vibes. To complete its metamorphose, Magnolia brings the tart-lemon and light floral nuances. How lovely and dirt-cheap this one is. Couldn't stop sniffing it all the time on my skin! Perfect for layering but also bold to stand on its own.

It's a lovely, wearable, natural rose scent that balances floral/fresh/juicy approaches to rose. Does not last long, but for the price, it's great quality and very versatile. Love it!

This smelled so fresh and not powdery. I started using it on my pillows at night. My husband liked it too which says a lot since he thinks perfumes are stink bombs 😊

Could have sworn this had a touch of musk in it! A lovely rose perfume. This line is actually very impressive and I want to try a few more scents.

This is... rosy. Of course, that is not surprising given the intent of this perfume. It is a fresh rose however; a bit juicy even. I hate overly cloying floral scents, particularly sweet ones, but this doesn't do that for me. Not quite as bright as The Body Shop's British Rose - but it feels more true to the rose scent. This one is lovely layered with Solinotes Jasmin and Musc for a DIY attempt at Bvlgari Rose Goldea, but you have to make sure to spray much more rose than the other two to have it shine through (the Musc is quite strong). It's also a delicious mix without the Musc. The sillage doesn't seem amazing, especially later in the day, but the longevity is good if a little close to the skin. Definitely good for the price! ($19aud from Priceline)

This is a very good rose fragrance. Mild and kinda sweet but still fresh and Natural. I am seriously considering buying it. Update: I tried this again today in a perfumery. It seems like it has been reformulated. The bottle design is also New. Its definately not a perfume I want and like anymore. It goes off my want list. It has also got a harsh note now that overwhelms the Sweet rose. Too bad. Update: I was able to get my hands on a bottle the old formula at the fraction of the price at a dicount online cosmetic shop. It was priced Down from NOK 200 to NOK 62,-...! ($23,6 to $7,2). Its fresh, aromatic, good sillage. I can't though get my head around why they reformulated it. The original is bliss...!

The smell was way better than I expected It's really nice Smells like roses without the unpleasant sweetness like delina It's nothing to do with delina which I'm really thankful for because I hate that perfume It's really bright You barely can smell anything like seconds after you spray it But I think for the price it's OK to overspray Longevity is not great Actually it's not even good enough But anyway it's a really beautiful scent that I really wanna smell like After shower I spray it on my body and my hair so I can sniff it on myself and it's really pleasant🩷 Beautiful bottle btw

Solinotes gifted me a few fragrances a couple years ago and this one was the only I real!y liked. Vanilla was okay but Rose is ovely fresh, citrusy and almost aromatic to my nose. I love wearing this after my shower before bed in the spring and summer. I've also layered it with Mandela's Roses Vanilla and I loved it. It took a bit of the sweetness away. And its so affordable! I will definitely repurchase.

First sniff was pleasant, like strolling in a garden of pink roses. After some time, roses faded and all I could smell was black tea with a faint hint of roses in the background, although it is not listed in notes here. To save the day, I tried to layer it with Cassandra roses intense, which, alone is too sweet for my taste. Layering produces the desired effect, I am getting whiffs of fresh roses :).

I fell in love with this affordable and simple perfume... I noticed it has the SAME notes as Angel Nova Edt, which I adore, but I find nothing similar between them, so this would not be a dupe at all. This one has a sweet prominent rose, while Ange Nova edt has the litchi and bergamot very noticeable

Great Rosy scent. Clean and slightly spicy. Fresh rose, with citruss in the background and patchouli (smells like it to me, could be cedar note listed). It has that cosmeticky rose feel to it. 2-3 hours longevity, lasts longer on clothes. Decent pricewise, so reapply is no problem.

Some roses are jammy or accompanied by raspberry, and some have notes of cherry. This one is the latter. I also detect some marshmallow sweetness. However, the scent have very little throw and dissipates too quickly to be noticed even by my nose.

The dupe for Diptyque's Eau Rose *EDT*. A fantastic deal, but also very soapy, clean. More rose soap suds than rose.

Solinotes took the unisex nature of rose and coerced it with sweetness into becoming completely feminine. On the plus side, it's a nice scent. On the other hand, you're not really getting rose; you're getting a slightly soapy feminine fragrance that will remind you of rose if you look at the label. I just don't like perfumes that boldly and clearly profess to represent one thing but smell nothing like that thing. It's getting really old. If you call yourself "Solinotes" and you make a perfume you name "Rose", it'd better smell like nothing but rose. Roses come in many cultivars with many corresponding scents, so you'd have to go out of your way to step outside of that whole natural spectrum to create something that smells like no rose. If you put in that much effort into not smelling like rose, it's only fair to your own hard work to call it something else.

Disclaimer: treat all my reviews with a grain of salt because I have an odd chemistry so that there are very few perfumes I can wear successfully. (Amarige, Amarige Mariage, Organza, Opium, Raffinee, and Jo Malone fragrances are some.) I should have known better since it was so inexpensive and wasn't primarily rose. Surprisingly, hubby liked this one, but it really didn't smell all that floral on me - and I couldn't detect rose really at all. It smelled like a drugstore fragrance, too. Maybe layering this with another Solinote or with some other fragrance would be okay, but one more fragrance that doesn't really work for me. Contrary to another review, this fragrance didn't remotely smell matronly or mature, at least not on me. I pictured a preteen or teenager wearing this, instead.

I wanted to like this and smell of roses but instead all I smell is the sweetness of the lychee. It’s so overwhelming I don’t smell anything else. What can I say, it’s good if you like fruity sweet scents but I’m not into fruity, nor sweet scents. Maybe my perfume is bad, maybe the notes are not blending well.. I don’t know and I have read some good reviews and some say they smell roses, but really, I smell no floral scent here. Sadly this is a no no for me.

An overly sweet and pungent rose. Reminds me of Rose Jam by Lush. If you like the scent, go for this, but this does not smell like a realistic rosé at all.
