Ylang Ylang Blossom

Agree 100% with @stephanienwc below. This is similar to the opening of Gucci Bloom Profumo di Fiori (yellow bottle) which is my all time favourite fragrance. Utterly obsessed. blooming yellow-white flowers with a hint of green. Sparkly. Like champagne. The aquatic feel some of you have mentioned is solar in nature... but where GBPdF dries down to a sweet slightly indolic jasmine. It is a gorgeous spring/summer scent. Indoles show up more in the heat. When I compare this directly to Gucci Bloom PDF, this one comes across as synthetic and girly... but I think i prefer it. There is a huge scent bubble that garners a lot of compliments for the first few hours. It then dries down to a skin scent although it still radiates. Every time I swing my hair, the scent engulfs me again. I’m utterly obsessed.

This smells like an expensive yellow flower + Tuberose perfume. Pleasantly surprised. I picked myself up a bottle for $30 CAD. A steal! Edit: just figured out which expensive perfume this smells like - Gucci Bloom Profumo di Fiori! And I see that other people thought the same as well.

I was hoping that this might be an unfound dupe for Lolita Lempicka L'aime A La Folie (which it's not). That's okay, though because I love this perfumey ylang beauty. It has an appeal of its own and I'm planning on always having a bottle in my possession. Rating: 🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒 Cruelty free 🐾

I love Ylang scents and I coincidentally tried this one and it was love at first sight. Extremely affordable price point for the longevity and sillage. Will see how this does in winter, but right now I like the smell even though it's 40 degrees outside.

Quite nice. What I would call a floral tea scent; light, subtle, inoffensive, intimate. I want to layer this with a fresh fruit scent. Note: for a moment upon spraying it did give me air freshener vibes. Lasted maybe 7 hours and was skin scent for about 3 of those hours. Note: light scents usually last longer on my skin than most other people.

This is a pretty little flower party. The base notes don’t shine through for me except maybe a touch of orange blossom. Fairly long lasting.

I do not like the opening of this, it makes me screw up my face. It doesnt smell like anything to me, just unhappiness.

The name of this brand is fundamentally misleading. They do not make 'solinote' perfumes. What one gets here is not purely, or even primarily, ylang ylang. Instead it is basically just a decent, but not superlative, white/yellow floral blend. This has some layering potential, but really there are much better options for something like this, at any price point. Selling this stuff in a pink bottle instead of a bright yellow one is probably a good reveal of their intentions. Btw, I would love to have a pure Ylang Ylang perfume, as close to the essential oil as possible. Any suggestions?

This is a nice scent, but I was hoping for a headier, creamier ylang ylang. This one is lighter, not overly indolic, a bit sweet, and there seems to be this aquatic note in it, which would work for some, but not for me. I detect a very slight synthetic note, but it may be my reaction to the aquatic note I'm able to smell. Nice, but not for me.

Pure ylang ylang. For those who like it it's great but I hate ylang ylang lol not sure why I sprayed it on myself. It's SO strong too that scrubbing with hand sanitizer did not help at all.
