Yuzu

Solinotes Yuzu is a citrus aromatic fragrance that gives you a clean and fresh feeling especially in hot weather. I got two 50ml bottles for $22 including shipping. Normal price in my country is $15 per bottle in a mall. This is a soothing scent that l can wear without mixing with other solinotes scents as suggested by the brand. I also have the Vanille which is so natural smelling. This type is in a classic style like CD Eau Sauvage and the rest. They may not be similar but it is under the same category. If only they have 100ml bottles it would be more economical since l don't control my sprays. Got some compliments from friends and strangers. Good cologne.

Blind bought this perfume and loved it at first sniff! This is a skin scent and a great mood lifter in the morning. I over spray it after shower so it projects about an hour then fades to skin scent I can smell on myself. If you like citrus fragrances this is a juicy Yuzu with hint of white florals. On my skin the other notes don’t show up which I prefer. This lasts about 4 hours but in cooler weather it might last longer. It is 112 degrees today in Arizona desert so it won’t last all day. This is my favorite morning scent then I spray new fragrance at lunch. Worth checking out for less than $30!

I love L ́eau d ́Issey so i was really interested in this Solinote. i went to the store and asked for it. I immediately bought it. It is a great summer scent which reminds me of Issey in some way despite the fact it is a more simple scent, but it goes in the same direction. If you ́d like to have a fresh summer simple citrusy fragrance with a slight bitter twist (thanks to yusu), get it. Edit: I sprayed 2/3 Solinotes Pomelo + 1/3 Solinotes Yuzu = great citrusy fragrance with really good performance. Bitterer than Pomelo and sweeter than yuzu alone.

This smells so good. It is clean but unique. Initial spray, it is like an elevated and elegant and classy froot loop (not in a bad way). On me, it smells like sweet bright citrus and nice soapy floral in the background. I tried it on at Shoppers, but will have to go back and get it! CAUTION: Do not blind buy (though for the price...?) It is heavy on citrus, and I can see how it may turn dish-washing-liquid-like on some people depending on their body chemistry. Edit: Kind of disappointed that the longevity on me is only about 7-8 hours.

I love a sharp, fresh citrus scent, and this is that. Some of my first perfume loves were Bergamot Soleil and Cedrat Envirant from Atelier Cologne and this is very much in that family. You get warm, bright bergamot, clean lemon and beautiful zesty yuzu. Definitely not for anyone who doesn't enjoy citrus.. but I love the clean summery aesthetic, and this scent is that.

An absolutely deliciously spicy citrus. Not a masculine scent, but not overly feminine. I like that this is truly just a spicy citrus- not sweet, not floral, not aquatic fresh.

This is delicious, very light, very citrusy and a bit woody scent! Love it. This is my comfort-wear-at-home perfume. And the price is very affordable.

Citrus Lemony Zesty Gin Cocktail Vibe. So refreshing and so relaxing.

The three stages here are quite distinct here. Opens up sharp and acidic, obviously, given that it’s lemon and bergamot, but it’s a delightful degree of sharpness and acidity, at least for me. In the next part, the terpenic yuzu balances a clean white floral and sweet tangerine notes. After about six hours, I smell a light but noticeable patch (not sure about the oak moss). I still smell the residue on my clothes the next day. It delivers what I hoped it would deliver. A solid option if one is looking for mood-lifting citrusy freshness at a low price. My cleaning products do not smell like perfume, and citrus fragrances do not bring up that association in me.

My appreciation of this perfume grows the more I wear it. It opens up with a bright, concentrated citrus with a hint of bitter pith, evolves into a slightly sweeter and more floral citrus, before drying down woody (I think there's something akin to iso-e super as a fixative). Bergamot notes in perfumery typically aren't my bag because they remind me of cleaning products; that isn't the case here. Longevity is under 3 hours unless you layer, but it's affordable enough to spray with abandon.

A really juicy, citrusy white flower scent. Really good for Spring or Summer. Can't go wrong with a rollerball from Target. It almost has a tuberose feel to me. Would be interesting to layer this with other scents. A solid "like"

I disagree with the idea that this is inexpensive. Considering how much you have to use, it is pretty comparable in price to higher end fragrances. It’s gorgeous combined with Solinotes The Blanc.

Wow this is great! A sharp and biting juicy yuzu. I've found I really enjoy yuzu as a complimentary note and so was really looking forward to trying this solinote out. Did not disappoint.

Surprised how well smelling and good this one is. Absolutely one I consider for my collection. I already have the rose one. Smells like a freshly peeled orange. So delicious...!

Really like this one, very quality citrus chypre, oakmoss is noticeable. Definitely unisex, will be very good for summer. Stayed over 4 hours on clothes.

So citrusy and sharp. If I wear it alone sometimes it gives me a headache, so I need to layer this with another scent. The perfect combo is the blanc.

I wish I could say I adore this and I will keep it as this holy relic to pass on to my non-existent children, but alas. Yes, it absolutely smells like yuzu. Yes, it's lovely for layering. That's the best thing it has going for it. It sits well on my skin, and it DOES linger on my clothes... for all of thirty minutes. It's a very lovely body mist, at best, and that's ok! For the price point, that's ok. I just wish I could find a yuzu that had longevity, but finding a citrus fragrance that lasts more than an hour is a nearly impossible find and I'm aware of that. I just can't say I love it when it's gone in less than the length of a movie. (It is small enough to just keep in your purse though. Just saying.)

A very sharp citrus opening that always takes me aback a little. I keep forgetting just how strong the opening is, and got punched in the face by this one each time I forget. I don’t get nauseous from perfume often, but this Yuzu one reminds me of one of those outdated citrus/musk car air fresheners that is rampant in my country and horrible in hot weather... and that made me nauseous. Combined with other perfume this becomes a little more manageable. I gave away my big bottle to my housekeeper since she seems to love it, but I struggle to finish even the little one. I’m a big fan of citrusy fragrance, but this one’s definitely not for me.

contrary to the marketing and reviews, to me this scent is not fresh or sharp at all - while very pleasant, what I get is a very intense, cakey lemon bar laden with powdered sugar. that said, it layers very nicely with less sweet, greener scents to bring out the sharpness of the citrus. not the best on me but my partner (who is more of a fan of baked goods-type gourmands) wears it beautifully.

It reminds me of dawn dish soap or laundry detergent, but I lowkey like that. I feel like this would be perfect to wear in the summer for going out. I just can't wear this at home, at the store, or to bed. I literally can't imagine wearing this other than at the beach or something, but I do love how realistic it is!! Super heavy on citrus and it's so fresh

Wouldn't wear this alone as I think it would just make me smell like cleaning supplies. Solely citrus, which makes sense given the brand name. I think it could smell nice layered with tea notes. Update: On me this fades into a scent that feels a little too "mature" for my liking

The skin on the part where I put it on hurts. This is the first time for me to see this phenomenon. The smell is faint. Push 10 and it's just right. Will not repeat.

Very strong and sharp, almost to the point of being acrid. Not a hint of floral or the sweeter citrus notes came through. At first spray, it seemed familiar... Initially I thought it was a friend's aftershave; eventually I realized it smelled like the public restroom air freshener at our county courthouse where I'd been serving jury duty. As an air freshener it's effective, but definitely not something I want to wear.

Inspired by yuzu, a small citrus fruit very popular in Japan. This is a bubbly good-mood cocktail with no need for restrictions! Fun fact: "Fresh yuzu cannot legally be imported into the United States. Because of its scarcity, the yuzu fetches high prices, $8 to $20 a pound wholesale, and up to twice that at retail". Who needs that when you can have this awesome perfume for much cheaper! Lemon, bergamot mandarin, and yuzu - all the good stuff. Zesty! The muted white flowers add a little contrast to this fresh citrusy fragrance. It lasts 3-4 hours on me, with nice projection, which is really good for a citrus scent. Lovely! Bright and realistic. It does smell like yuzu fruit: the rind, and all. Reminds me of Japanese yuzu drinks that I love! 🍋🍊🍋 Truly refreshing. So good on a long hot summer day! 本当にすごい!

if you dont like fresh perfumes, this is the last thing you wanna buy. i'm a gourmand warm perfume typa girl, and this is the perfume that made me realize that. i bought this cus it was on sale, tried to like it, but its not me at all. gave it to my mom just cus i cant stand even looking at it. but for fresh fragrance lovers, this might be heaven? (idk bc its not me) cus it is really cheap with a good sillage. in my reccolection it doesnt have good longevity though. very lime fragrance, i would be mad if someone sprayed this in winter.

Not overly complicated, but you definitely notice the lemon first. It wears sort of like a mojito, if that makes sense. There's no mint listed, but I detect a little along with a bit of green tea. Feels a bit synthetic, but its not my least favourite of the Solinotes line. It's rather nice and gets a bit on the side of an Eau de Cologne.

In 2002 Raphael Haury designed Azzaro Pure Cedrat. This Yuzu is like a simplified version of that Pure Cedrat, removing most of the spices. At $10-$15 for 50ml it's quite good value for money.
