Outstanding Women

Well, the name of this one couldn't be more misleading - this to me is not outstanding at all, but rather the absolute embodiment of what is considered today as the typical pink, girly, young, flirty, fruity-floral everyday scent. It is a very nicely done one though, at least on my skin, where the fruits acquire a warm and sensual, inviting vibe. It smells just as you would expect it to when you see the bottle: Something young and inoffensive for happy moments.

Sweet fruits with dry and warm woody notes. For me too cheap, loud and strange. But I image that young girls can wear it!

Inoffensive. Cheap, nothing outstanding but I wanted to buy it after testing it while waiting in line in a German supermarket. Got distracted by my kids and forgot about it. Haven't found it here in Denmark. Regret not having had this for Summer. I hope I can still find it on shelves next time I'm in Germany. It would've been nice those times I was standing or walking in a tightly packed crowd. Nothing too heavy or sharp in it, at least not on my skin. Update 2016: I bought it nearly a year later. This one is going to depend on skin chemistry. I seem to have better luck with cheaper fragrances like this one than most. I'll be 40 this year and there's nothing loud or cheap in the way it projects from me. Just sparkly fruits that are barely detectable, but I dont' mind, and soft florals. The base is soft and warm on me. I did the drugstore waiting in line test again and people stayed as close to me as the first time I tested Outstanding. So for days where I want to be inoffensive and just smell pleasantly warm and clean this one is indeed outstanding - on me! The weather is cooler than when I first tried it, and it's as if that's modified the fragrance, so it's less sparkly fruity now, which is fine since I don't want to smell unseasonally tropical fruity. On this cool day, the middle notes is what stands out to me. I think I noticed the top notes more on the warmer day I tested it. I DON'T THINK it's a fragrance anyone HAS TO own. It's just nice for travelling; if I lose it or break it, it's not a big loss. Better on me outdoors regardless of weather or in larger spaces. Just realized that it's not a good idea to constantly sniff my wrist because that can be headache inducing. But it doesn't project very strongly from me. I think I might use this one to layer with weaker, fresher scents.

It was a gift from my husband, too. I like designer perfumes, but he likes these cheap, inoffensive scents, with nothing special in them. I used it on holidays, and I am happy, that the bottle is empty now. I never get compliments with these drugstore perfumes.
