Beautiful clove. Wonderfully warm resinous incense. Everything is blended very well here and it makes the perfume very linear and simple, for better or worse. I think it's perfectly fine, but it's simplicity limits it. It's a cozy winter scent that would be really nice to have on hand when you're stuck inside watching the snow. It's very comforting. 7.5/10

Simple and good for what it is meant to be. Clove and amber with a bit of resin.

Smells like every shop that sells incense sticks. Raw resin, unrefined, natural. Chunks of dusty frankincense and myrrh that you burn during holidays. Medicinal clove oil for dental pain. Smoky, spicy, and sweet–the camphorous clove is nicely tempered by the warm amber and the cool, resinous frankincense and I can’t help but to think this a perfect fragrance for summer time ren faires with your beardiest, dorkiest, D&D-est friends. Or maybe *you* are that friend, which makes the fragrance even more perfect! It immediately conjures imagery of drum circles and mead and mesmerizing bosoms popping out of their corsets and a man with a cloak and a feather in his cap who repeatedly calls you “mi’lady”. I just went to a ren faire two months ago, so this is all very fresh in my mind. By the end of the day I smelled like goats and pickle barrels; I could have really used some Travelers right then.

Medieval sanctuary is what came to mind when I first smelled this. I pictured a mendicant monk on his travels, robe scented with incense and spices to have the air project his piety. As the descriptions says, it's basically a combination of clove, amber and frankincense. There's an elemental quality that makes Travelers seem timeless, as if the essences were wild picked. The clove smells like it has been purified, smoothing out any edges. Add the ablution of a sweet frankincense, the warm glow of amber, and the overall impression is one of a santuary, cleansed and sweetened with spices. The blend is linear, with good sillage and longevity.
