Virde

I tested a sample of this on my skin and it smells fantastic. Woody, with a touch of mint. But after a few minutes I realized it is similar to Thundra by Profumum Roma (to my nose, at least). Since I already own Thundra, this is too similar to justify purchasing. Granted, the mint is stronger in Thundra. The longevity and sillage seemed fine, but I can't say for sure since I did not use an atomizer. Thundra is definitely more powerful in both aspects, but it also has a higher retail price. Virde is worth considering if you wish Thundra had less mint, and/or if you wish to spend less (and accept less potency). All in all, not bad!

Best of the initial Soma Perfumes releases. It has a great old school fougere quality to it. Really well blended and rounded. Really classy, I really dig it. If you love 80s classics men fragrances, you'd definitely love this. Ladies can pull it off but I associate it with a very well dressed and put together men. It would sound silly but this almost smells like London to me. Classy, elegant, rich history and culture and unpredictable weather, overcast but it's green and leafy. I really like this city and Virde.

Virde is a very gentle woody aromatic scent with some good depth and character. Initially it opens with a soft breeze of juniper and lavender with a touch of black pepper to give it that masculine kick, before developing a gorgeously green heart of vetiver, cypress, patchouli and pine. A soft and creamy base of oakmoss and sandalwood soon becomes present, with a lingering hint of musk and cedar as the backbone. This scent smells like walking through beautiful English woodland on a crisp summer’s morning. It’s got some great aromatics which are perfectly balanced with the creamy base to create something very pleasant to wear.
