Santal Super

I smelt this briefly in a shop from a tester. Very beautiful sandalwood. Of course it reminds me Santal 33 first, they are very similar while I have experiences with other sandalwood scents of which none reminds these two. The difference is that Santal 33 is warmer, maybe stronger too, while Santal Super has the special Son Venïn's touch which I happen to know from PUR 02 because I have it and which has that effect much stronger. That touch is a bit fresh but not the typical freshness, it's a kind of dry freshness or even spiciness from a specific chemical whatever it is which can be blended with other stuff nicely.

Very enchanted with this. It's somewhat a fruitier, more mellow, less rough around the edges rendition of Santal 33. I bought a bottle of this right after testing a sample because I found it to be one of those perfumes that puts you in a good mood, it's the way I imagine a walk through a norwegian forest in an sunny spring day. Decent enough sillage and longevity on clothes for days.

I love this house and this scent

Interesting and fresh, watery green blend of mainly eucalyptus and Iso E Super. Smells minimalistic, clean and fits the scandi cool aesthetic. Suitable for daytime all year round, I think I would slightly prefer this on a man but it is a true unisex scent. The cardamom is fortunately not overpowering as it often can be, I can only detect the slightest hint of black pepper so I do not find this scent spicy nor particularly woody. Pleasant with decent performance.

Lovely little opening. Some creamy sandalwood and a refreshing burst of medicinal, wet and zesty eucalyptus. Sadly falls back into an Iso-E Super bomb. If you don't already own something like that, (Bois Imperial, Molecule, etc) and are keen for that kind of scent, this could be a good option as the opening is interesting!

I wanted to pick up on the eucalyptus here, but unfortunately I can't. To me this smells exactly like Santal 33 and the many other inspirations it has spawned.

I'm getting really tired of people reviewing every sandalwood perfume as a clone of Santal 33. NO, this is a SCENT PROFILE! Just beacuse a perfume is sandalwood dominant does not mean it smells like the other santal perfumes!! Ok, Santal Super! I love you. This blend of spicy pepper, a hint of freschness from the bergamot and eucalyptus, and the warm and chic sandalwood is perfection. Applause!! I have to get it. I also own the more warm and woody Santal Dan Sha (Armani) and the green and fresh Sel Santal (Clean). Santal Super is going to be the last sandalwood scent to ad to my wardrobe, and I will have a perfect santal for every occasion. Wooh!

Smells like a relaxing day in the sauna, where eucalyptus steams away to reveal a crisp sandalwood. Not overtly complex, very clean.

Does anybody know a similar fragrance with better longevity?

To me it smells almost identical to Lelabo's Santal 33.
