Pink Innocencia

Thank you Konga5000 for the enthusiastic review!! I tested this fragrance while browing at Target. I'm very picky when it comes to floral perfume. However, this one is such a beautiful magnolia based fragrance. Sweet, creamy, yet not heady like other white flower fragrances. People might think I was crazy because I couldn't stop smelling my wrist. I had to get the whole line. I layered with the body lotion at night, and still smelled the perfume in the next morning. For $14.99, it is one of the best cheapie!!

Yup, she is a beauty! Pink Innocencia is a delight to see here at Fragrantica. Kudos, Fragrantica staff! Tested in the store about a year ago and now again this week... My conclusion? <3 Primarily Tuberose with Magnolia & Gardenia. <3 To me it's not much like Truth or Dare, because that smells like a very Sweet version of Fracas, both huge with animalic tuberose at it's most primal! But I can see the comparison - they are in the same family of scent and appeal to white floral lovers. :) As for Pink Innocencia - what a charmer. High quality smelling, and the comparison to Jo Malone is apropos. I don't mean it smells like any Jo Malone in particular, but that the quality & simplicity are similarly enjoyable, refreshing, and worthwhile. But OH the price difference! Please do take a gander at this entire range if you're possessed of 15 dollars extra and browsing at Target. All of the scents are well worth sniffing, though interestingly the perfume is a better value than the matching body products. Rating - Light to Moderate sillage and longevity (on my dehydrated skin). Value for 3.4 oz bottle size terrific. Presentation excellent. I'd say this is FOUR star... at least! :D

STRONG! What a misleading name. This is neither pink nor innocent! It's a straight up tuberose/white floral, and it's STRONG. "Pink" means something rosy or powdery, which this is not. "Innocence" usually means either sucrose or lily of the valley, which are missing here. Pink Innocencia is cleaner and better quality than Truth or Dare, and lacks the heavy ear-bleeding cashmeran of Michael by Michael Kors. It's simpler than my beloved Fracas, and of course nothing like the complexity of Carnal Flower, but dang if this isn't a pretty rich tuberose. Loud like Amarige, but again not as complex. This is just a little different from my long lost Avon Hawaiian White Ginger; White Ginger had a little banana overtone which this lacks. If I layer it with Kuumba Made White Ginger, it gets in the ballpark. That good psychotropic white flower rush. Draws pollinators. Strong enough to leave a flavor in the back of my throat, which strong white florals always do. I think I have Jacobson organs like a snake. Not entirely kidding.

I know this sounds crazy but this actually smells pink to me. It’s a sweet mild floral. The Magnolia really comes through for me giving it a tiny pinch of something a little tart but not sour just like magnolia is a tiny bit tart. It’s so inoffensive and tuberose and quite creamy. It reminds me a little bit of a lighter version of Madonna’s Truth or Dare and also of Michael Kors. It’s not a strong floral it is indeed innocent and pink. Like other reviewers have mentioned it smells much more expensive than it is. It’s not complex and pretty straight forward, but it doesn’t have that hairspray strong cheap alcohol opening. I REALLY like this! Too bad it’s discontinued.

Oh my! First to review! Now that Madonna's Truth or Dare is discontinued- this is my new favorite bedtime tuberose "cheapie" that DOES NOT SMELL CHEAP AT ALL ! These are incredible and I found them by accident at Target. I think they are Target exclusives? Good longevity ! Very natural smelling. These feel Jo Malone-ish ! If you see them - try them out. $19.99 !

A creamy, slightly tangy, tuberose bomb. Very similar to Michael Kors, but a little less sensual and a little more brightly floral, with that slight citrusy element from the magnolia. A very dense fragrance--just slightly oppressive, IMO--but very good for the price point.

I like this, but I don’t love it. It’s very sweet and feminine though. I ended up giving it to my friend’s daughter.

Tuberose bomb on a budget. YES PLEASE!!!
