Bee’s Bliss

I really love this one and will probably buy a full bottle. This is a pretty fruity floral that has a creamy texture. Lots of lilac and mimosa combined w/ delicious honey and sweet, lush peach. This is a unique combination and I think the lilac note is what gives this perfume a different edge compared to other fruity, yellow and white florals. It was a stroke of genius that the perfumer decided to add the lilac note. This is spring in a bottle, but I would wear this year-round, day and night. Delicious, feminine and very joyful. It brings a smile to my face as I am smelling it and I am transported to springtime when lilacs and wildflowers are blooming, and the air is filled w/ life and perfume. Bee's Bliss is the perfect name for this perfume.

Sour milk, sticky honey and green florals. Sounds like a revolting combo but they are blended so so well. Bee's Bliss smells so magical in the air that for a moment I almost forget how low quality their new bottles are (mine seems to always be leaking). All is forgiven though - it is just that good. Very complex and nuanced. One moment I was in love with the creamy milkiness, the next I was hit by a wave of juicy green floral that almost feels like biting into an apple or nectarine. Divine juice.

I've just started on my Sonama Scent Studio sampler and I'm really REALLY looking forward to working my way through it all. Winding down the year, tidying, preparing to wave TF goodbye to 2021, I can't think of anything better than having a largely unknown house as the scenttrack to this transitional period of the year / my life. Bee's Bliss sounded like the scent I would like LEAST, so, in my time honoured tradition of doing the most unpleasant / difficult task FIRST, I tried this one out first out of the whole set. As soon as it hit the skin, I knew this was in NO WAY anything I would ever wear, not in ANY circumstance, but I can't help but feel like this is just a stunning scent I would never EVER wear. The beeswax is done PERFECTLY -- no sticky, messy, globby elements to this (think Slowdive) -- it's mixed in perfectly with the citrus and jasmine to have NO sharp, rigid edges. You can detect that there is indeed beeswax in this, but without the off-putting plasticky-stickiness. It's been blunted and muted EXPERTLY. Some really high-level mixing here. Same with the peach and lilac here. Peach has, in the past, choked me TF out (Kiste), but that doesn't happen here. Layered and levelled perfectly. I wish I liked these elements a lot more, because starting off like this with notes I am not usually a fan of is indeed a really REALLY good start...

This is a honeyed floral that just floats over a subtle woody base. Honey is the dominant note for me, but orange blossom and peach make an appearance as well. Sweet/fruity is usually not for me, but this scent is so well-balanced that it manages not to get sticky or cloying. The beeswax note is lovely, and the scent is remarkably consistent from opening to drydown. Great daytime fragrance. My favorite of the Sonoma Scent Company sampler set.
